Damien felt the sensation of Jen's power absorption for the first time as he gripped her hand to pull her towards the ladder. Damien felt like his arm was going to be sucked into her own, but Damien pulled her to regardless, and rolled over to the side of the ladder as they both reached the platform again. He stood up, a tiny bit groggy from the power. "Damn, you... you had us worried Jen. Are you okay?"

Damien turned around from Kiiros, and saw Jen at the water. It looked like... he didn't know if he was seeing things... but it looked like Jen was getting burnt!? Damien rushed around, and saw the ladder Jen could use to get up. Damien clambered down and waited for her, holding a hand out for when she got to him. It didn't matter if he got touched by the acid, it didn't matter if she drained him. All that matters is that Jen got out. "HURRY!" he called out.
