Kendall finally found an empty compartment and took a seat near the window. She fidgeted in her seat and twirled her thumbs as she waited for what seemed like ages, but she knew that only a few moments had gone by. What was Hogwarts going to be like? It was already bad enough that she was just now getting used to England, but now she would have to adjust completely to a whole new life and world that she didn't even know existed. She had read some of the books that she had to get for the year, and found out that they would have to be sorted once they arrived. The options were Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw. She hadn't really put much thought into this, though, because it wouldn't really be her decision. It would all be up to the Sorting Hat, whatever that was. After sitting for a while more, she realized that she hadn't yet put on her school robes. She quickly got up to change, butterflies in her stomach.

OMG I just made a huge mistake.
I kind of wanted this to be the next generation, but then it would have to be set in 2016/2019.....

It was mentioned in the Goblet of Fire, and it's in Massachusetts. So would there be a rivalry between all of the schools or we just pick one?

If you're talking about the first book, which is the only book I can recall her saying this, I don't think that's what she meant....

I was hoping that I could start up a Harry Potter based RP. Nothing more, and nothing less. Of course the rules and everything would still be the same, and just students continuing their usual lives as Hogwarts students. Since He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named is gone, maybe there can be a new threat. That or there isn't really much conflict, just romance and drama and all of that other stuff.....

The rules would be pretty simple.

1. No god modding, Mary sues, etc.
2. Even if it is 2014, you still cannot bring any Muggle tech inside. You just simply cannot. Any device of the sort act funny around Hogwarts grounds.
3. Have fun, but still keep it PG-13 on the IC.
