Bio

Hello,

I am Gordoth Enodious. I call myself that way. It is not my actual name, but for the purposes of a forum I'll remain Gordoth.

Concerning my experience with roleplaying, I cannot say I am experienced, but neither can I say I am inexperienced. I have tried roleplaying, but I've never managed to hold a group together for any longer than, say, three or four days, as they lost interest in the process. I consider myself literate, but I'd think everyone on this here forum IS literate.

In connection to the preferences I display when dealing with roleplaying, I'd say I have two, those being Fantasy and Science Fiction, however I am more than interested in participating in all kinds of activities hosted by the Guild.

And about me. I am a rookie writer of fiction literature. I enjoy playing video games of all kinds. As is to be expected by one who visits forums such as this one, I am more keen on experiencing stories. I enjoy reading all kinds of literature, I partake in the viewing of many movies and I relish in observing art.

That's about as much as is needed, I'd say. Overall, consider me a jack of all trades. I will ask for tips and explanations, as I am not familiar with the process of roleplaying on a forum. I am enthusiastic about all of this, so holler if you feel like it.

"You can not understand me. Not because it is something that can not be understood, but because you lack the knowledge needed. You can not understand, simply because you have not lived. Only once you have seen that, which I have seen, will you be able to see something. Only once you experience the horrors, experienced by myself, will you understand. Through living after the suffering I have lived through, will you understand. Are those things you can experience? Are those things you can go through in one hundred years, eighteen of which you lack the clarity of mind needed to be human? I fear it is not possible. I fear that becoming human, at this moment, depends on understanding. But not everyone can understand. Why, then, is it that you are all considered humans? None of you seek to understand each other. None of you even seek to understand others. I fear it. I fear this thing, which you call human, is not what truly is a human. You have lost the understanding of the word you use to describe yourselves. Without knowing what you are, without understanding it... You can not understand me."

And death befell the world, and all who had ever roamed the lands ceased to be, slowly, painfully, succumbing to madness first and hunger second. Their hopes fell, their dreams failed them, and all rational races were gone.

What remained was a world more reminiscent of a wasteland. The irrational beasts of the wilds grew to be, once again, the dominant species in Gurr'Kha. Whatever was left of rationality was no more.

Eventually, rational beings could rise again, and they would name the world they lived in differently. They would find, many, many years later, the remnants of what had once been the civilizations which were destroyed by the death of what their people believed in.

Gurr'Kha is unfortunate.
Suddenly, it lives again! Cheer!
@Fetzen, do be a dear and post something. I think you had a bunch of time to get better ;)
@SmileyJaws It is not dead yet.
I think and hope. We are waiting for the dragon-man to do something, and he said he'd do something, he's been here and there recently, popping up online, so it's probably something to do with his Real Life.
You are welcome to submit a CS!
@FalloutJack Do something please.

And so the lady at the front departed, as if urged, or taken, by a Bzou. Lady Lechery had never seen such a thing - and would probably never again see it - and that made her curious. Things that fell from the sky either broke or bounced off. What would happen if a human fell from the sky - would it be a wondrous tale of a wyrm landing, or would it be the gruesome fate of a frog jumping off a cliff?

There was, obviously, an instance of danger, as she was quite close to the young lady who had decided to leave her, and the seat itself could decide to join the blue-haired woman in her own chair, even though there was no space for two, thus exposing her own life to danger. However, as the egg-like object-turned-projectile reached its peak, it decided start falling, surprising absolutely nobody. Her eyes traced the object as it fell, and a sense of calm overtook her. It would not land on top of her, so she figured there would be no need to move out of the way in a panic, as others had done. The use of one's brain was reserved for them alone, and if they would not use it, she could do nothing to prevent it. They would only slow down the movement of the strange carriage they had boarded.

"If you did not want to sit with me, you should not have thrown the delicate flower of life away like that..." Cooed Lady Lechery as the figure of the Director disappeared behind the back of her chair. What a sad event, she thought. No doubt orchestrated by someone with more directorial rights than the Director herself...

"And here I thought you were going to ignore my generous offer..." Commented Lady Lechery as the Director made her way to the seat in front of her. How fortunate for the one labeled as lecherous that the one known as Kindle, unknown to the blue-haired one, had happened to have no other option. Her ears caught onto an interesting conversation, although she managed to follow along only to the closer, more interesting half of it - it would seem the Lady's new companion was interested in having someone sit in their lap. Maybe a certain, full-face golden mask bearing woman could help her with that...

Another thing her eyes registered was an individual making his way towards the contraption they were seated upon. Interestingly enough, that individual was the sixteenth guest, and there were only fifteen seats on the interesting piece of machinery they were located on. Many things could happen, one of them being that this new guest might end up waiting for the ride to make a round and return. Probably not the most pleasant of experiences, as it was quite cold. She sunk, or at least tried to, deeper into the cushioning of the strange chair she was seated in. Her attention returned to the woman sitting in front of her.

"So, miss, now that you are seated, might I know your name?" Asked Lady Lechery, a hint of sarcasm in her voice. She half expected to not be given a real name, but even an alias would suffice. One needed to know how to call those with whom he spoke.
@LeeRoy You can write up the end of the fight, I am impossibly busy with things that are INCREDIBLY stupid and shouldn't have happened, so I cannot pay attention to 1 on 1 roleplays, sorry.
Hello and welcome to the wonderful guild of roleplayers.
We got all kinds of role-playing, and we can most likely find you a spot in the many worlds we create and mold with our minds.
In the meantime, enjoy your stay and don't worry about doing stuff wrong - it's part of the process!

The sound of blatant flirting was far louder than the sound of the coughing engine. A usual description for the mechanical entity's sound was 'roaring', but in this case Lady Lechery believed a more appropriate word was 'choking'. Could be because of the weather. Could be because of the lack of maintenance, but then again the Ambesires were a well known family, and that meant they probably had resources to keep their machines operational. The last option, she assumed, was that it just sounded like that.

The more prominent sound, at least to her ears, was the perceived attempt at seduction occurring a few seats ahead of her. The large fellow looked like a bit of an oaf to her, so she figured the person, who had collapsed, and turned out to be a female, was in distress. How convenient, then, that there was a seat right in front of the blue-haired lady. A thought made its way through her mind.

"Miss, there is a spot right here... I doubt you'd mind some more... Refined company." She called, raising her voice so it could be heard by the targeted individual, who happened to be quite intriguing for her at the moment.

The rest of the bunch was questionable at best. There were a few interesting guests, such as the one who had yet to dismount the horse. What a strange thing to do, just sit there and look. Lady Lechery made the chair rotate a small bit, but it did not do much in the way of movement. It did lower the strain she would have to put on herself to look at the other candidates for visual evaluation. The interesting ones were all ahead of her, except for a morsel that happened to be dressed much like a maid. Who dressed up like a maid to such an event, unless she, or he, wanted to be mistaken for one with such a profession?
Right. It looked as if everything had calmed down, to a degree. There were multiple dust particles clouding the view, but outlines of figures could still be perceived. Urdal shook his head at the apparent childish behavior of those people, but he remembered that some of them had been affected so greatly they seemed to be unable to put the world in its appropriate place, mind wise. He clapped his hands and started throwing a look at each person who had engaged in this debauchery-rich endeavor.

"Right, let me get this straight! Numenor, Orky, priest, lady on the ground, Gangra-- Gang, come here and... Line up!" He issued his first order, and already felt wrong. But that was that. He had completely neglected to take into account the priest was out cold in the dirt. He then took a look at those who had not actually 'signed' a contract with him yet. First, he faced the large, demonic individual.

"I don't think we got through the job stuff properly, so I'll offer again! I'm lookin' to go north, and I need some people. You almost agreed to join, so I'm sure you won't mind. I'll give you anythin' you want as payment, once the job's done!" The half-elf explained to the black and red giant of a person and then turned to the dragon, who's name was nicely mentioned by him.

"Sir... Endrokin... I'm offerin' the same to you. I can get you a load of treasures, if you'd want that. Or anythin' else." Informed Urdal as he looked at the uncomfortably imposing dragonkin.

He had made his case. And now he needed to hold these perceivable madmen together.
