Current SO I've been AWOL for awhile, I'm so sorry, I've been dealing with some sudden family emergency stuff that came up, but for the most part everything should be back to constant ab-normality now.

Ya know that moment when you think it's the few quiet moments before the storm? But then the storm is like "I DO WHAT I WANT! IMMA START NOW! SUCK ON THAT!" yeah, that's been me for awhile now.

Bio

Ours is not to question Why, ours is but to do and die, and yet, an unexamined life is not worth living. That being said I suppose I'm just an English Major trying to figure my life out in a Central American Country. It takes me about 20 minutes to get a decent sized, casual-ready, post finished, on a good day. However, I've got this bad habit of leaving my computer up when I'm not in front of it so just cuz I'm 'Online' don't mean I'm focused. Of course, even if I'm staring right at something directly in front of me don't mean I'm focused either....

Things I'm In that are cool and open and you should check out if you want to, or not because free will and all that:

Answering without thing Billy replied "Well actually...Wait....OOOFF" Billy felt himself catapulted through the air as a sudden force hit him hard in the side and ribs, he landed roughly against the far wall and took a few seconds to get his bearings before getting up. He was just so used to being the one doing the surprising, that being on the receiving end of an unexpected dropkick had kind of knocked him off his feet. But he stood up, dusted himself off and drew his sword.

Billy looked his opponent up and down for the first time, facing each other as they were. There was definitely something vaguely reminiscent of Lewis Carrol in his appearance "Though I suppose I cannot help but go among mad people" the purple coloring, the wide smile, the eyes as large as houses and feline-esque, yeah, definitely like Billy just stepped through a looking-glass.

As the strange creature wielded the kitchen knife in his hand, Billy smiled, drawing his sword and his mind harkening back to the stories of audacious pirates and noble heroes outside the law, fighting and subduing great monsters, he adopted a stance.

"I guess we fight now right?"

"Unless you're too much of a scaredy-cat" Billy taunted
Then Alex started cursing under his breath when he remembered he could fly and probably could have prevented slamming into the ground.

Same bro, Same

I'm gunna get a post up in 2 or so hours so, like, stay tuned I guess
Quinn's eyes flashed open and he groaned. He always groaned when he woke up, it was the worst part of the day after all. But, knowing that nothing that he knew short of a horse tranquilizer could put him back to sleep, he sighed, creaked, and rolled outta bed. He stretched, he'd found that it was important to stretch in the morning, otherwise his skins tendency toward stiffness would overtake him throughout the whole day. After sufficiently cracking various parts of his body, Quinn headed downstairs.

He'd been more than excited to take over the abandoned diner when he found that it remained unclaimed upon his moving to town, and had even taken it upon himself to attempt to restore the old girl. Quinn found his peace partway through a halfway decent cup of coffee and a stack of pancakes made from Mama Jonson's Famous Recipe.

Staring out over the city as the rising sun cast red and yellow shades over the whole of it Quinn decided that, since he'd turned 21 just a few days ago and would have to report to the lab soon anyway, he might as well do so looking good, so, after finishing his breakfast and throwing on halfway decent clothes, Quinn headed to the center of town, looking for a tailor. After wandering for a few hours, Quinn finally found one, and began the process of being fitted for a new suit.

@Dealdric

Partway through his fitting, an unusual character burst through the door, apparently a friend of the owner. "Hey Liz" she'd said, but Quinn was simply looking her up and down, clearly a mutant by her lizard-like appearance, Quinn had seen mutations similar, if he thought about it, he too was a little bit like this girl, and the voice was somehow clearly feminine. So the wooden-boy waved and mouthed a "Hi" as Liz, the shop-owner, did the same, but with a little bit more actual sound.
@GreenGo
Iz cool. You good getting dropped kicked? At the end you two should definitely arrest Cheshire but I want him to put up a fight.

I am for sure cool with getting dropkicked, in fact it’s kinda what I figured would happen when Billy appeared behind the counter.

@Skinner35@GreenGo
Ohh also how do you guys want to do the fight scene? I know Toby's specialized in guns but getting shot's kind of a quick way to end a fight. Also how would Tobias and Billy interact when the fight happens since Billy just kind of appeared out of nowhere? Sorry if I'm asking too many questions or making this too complicated I'm kind of new to Forum RPs.

In my experience, if someone tells you you’re asking too many questions, drop kick ‘em.

Also, sorry about that, Billy’s whole thing is kind of appearing out of nowhere...

@JImFromTheOfice
Don't be sorry at all! If anything, you're asking all of the right questions.
So the fight scenes should work to where Bill and Chesh are doing most of the fighting while Toby is trying to keep up. Toby will probably be confused by Billy's appearance.

Lol, kinda feels like we just kicked you outta your own fight scene there, skin, you sure you’re cool with that?
I'm a liar, I lied. This is much later than I'd intended on posting, and a much longer post, perhaps to compensate. I'l do better in the future I promise, lol.
Billy was in his apartment, enjoying a smoothie and the end of a Sherlock Holmes novel. After finishing the last page and sighing a satisfied relief, Billy turned on the television and kicked his feet up. He flipped through the channels, enjoying the senseless garble that came out of the box, a nice change from being in his head and stories all day "....But I thought....in all the gin...DAMN IT...shots fired..." "huh?" Billy turned back to the channel with the shots

"At The 3rd bank of the city, an armed forces member appears to be going head-to-head with a rogue mutant, witnesses have reported seeing the mutant teleport and do other alarming things, causing this reporter to wonder, could this be the menace known as The Doorway Man finally showing his face? I'm Ida Nomuch, for channel 312, back to you in the studio, Chuck...."

Billy immediately stood, he knew what he had to do, so after changing into his work clothes, Khaki pants with lots of pockets, a Doorway Man t-shirt he'd bought online, a long captain's coat he'd sewn a hood onto, and his sword, he sighed once more, looking down at his arms flecked as they were with various scars, "Maaann, I hate this part" He said, as he reached for his sword and began cutting his arm while thinking intently about the inside layout of The bank in question. A doorway began to appear as Billy's arm leaked its red vigor, the space between the posts a swirling mass of red, blue and yellow, and then, Billy stepped through. the whole process took less than twenty seconds, but it always felt a lot longer.

Billy's Doorway opened behind the teller counter...He knew he probably shouldn't have done that, but it WAS the safest place if shots were being fired. Crouching down, Billy looked around and saw, to his bemusement, A floating and smiling mouth.
I'm gunna try to get a post up sometime today or early tomorrow, the last few days have been kinda weird for me
Flynn is probably separate, though he may know of one or both of you. Depends on how visible either of you are about your powers.

Yeah...Billy tries not to let his face show, but beyond that he's not exactly...ahem...subtle with his gifts
Name: William “Billy” Reed
Alias: Porter, The Doorway Man
Powers:
- Teleportation: Billy is able to open a portal to nearly anywhere in the world, the more familiar he is with the layout and exact location of the place, the less likely he is to end up inside a wall or an incinerator though, and he must shed his own blood in order to do so, he can take more people with him, but the longer the doorway stays open and the farther it goes, the more blood is required.
- Summoning of Marked Objects: Any object that can be lifted by Billy in one hand and that has at least the smallest bit of his blood on it, Billy can summon to his hand on a whim, provided he sheds a little blood (something like a paper cut would be sufficient for this).
Background:
- William believes in Freedom, loyalty, and that the price of being wealthy is often having that wealth taken from you. Billy believes in a fair fight, and honor, but he also believes that things belong to those who need it most, not so much those who happen to possess it. Billy knows that many of his beliefs could classify him as naive, but he tries to hold onto them as best he can. He knows that more often than not it is the strongest and cleverest who survive in this world, and he can play the game, he just chooses to play it his way. He grew up the son of two teachers and loving books, especially the classics: Treasure Island, The Count of Monte Christo, Robin Hood, The Three Musketeers, etc. These books instilled in him certain Ideals, ideals that include that knowledge and people should be free, and that the Law is only as good as those defending it are capable. So Billy joined The New Generation, believing in their mission, hoping to liberate as many people as possible, perhaps even to establish a new world order, and at worst, he’ll have had some adventures.

Appearance:
Equipment:
Billy loves the classics, so his weapon of choice is a cutlass forged in the style of Old Pirates, and nothing else but his wits. He does, however, typically dress in clothes with lots of pockets and sometimes a long captain's coat...
Other:
Anything we need to know?
- Billy doesn’t like guns, he considers them ‘a coward’s weapon’ and any rules about a fair fight immediately go out the window the moment someone pulls a gun on him. But otherwise he always tries to fight fair, to give the other person a “sporting chance” as it were.
- His official codename is Porter, as that's more official-sounding and easier to say, however because of his apathetic attitude toward subtlety, the Internet has caught sight of him several time (luckily not his actual face) and has started to call him "The Doorway Man". As you can imagine, this has done wonders for Billy's ego.
@dnich1123Pumped you might join us!

@Skinner35 I'm pretty easy, okay with whatever, just keep me informed, lol.
