Most of the examples if I recall where of specific things, like the early ninja class in Naruto. Only a few of actuarial main characters. Except for the odd one like Magneto or Saito Hajime. Of course for the latter one which Saito Hajime are they talking about? There is almost three of them in anime alone. Then a real world one (we can assume that's not the one refereed to).

Ya, the whole tier system was flawed from the start.
Yep, Sigurd was busy sprinting across the landscape.

Thus, why Sigurd shall ever be known as "The Runner."

From what I remember there wasn't a single formidable ranged character in that tournament, except maybe Cassana. (probably spelled wrong, memory fails me) Lyzan was the best swordfighter and he couldn't even get close to destroying the Necroloth's core with his ability to spontaneously defend himself with bones, so what chance did anyone else have at melee?

Well to be fair, I ended not using bones to defend myself. As he could cut through them no problem. If you recall, I jumped back (terrible idea) from his first swing. He then launched his sword at me. Which I barely avoided by elongating my spine into a tail and rebounded back around and tackled him to death.

All the while I remember us throwing things at your character and laughing...

Sometimes my hands get tired, typing from all my alt accounts.

I mean what, no, there's plenty of people in the Arena.

*compiles the evidence...*

*notices most wins come from sudden absences from players who never appear again...suspicious...*

Yeah, tier is a pain to work with, that's why we've gone with a more general system for this re-iteration and we're allowing people to balance fights themselves. Only tournament hosts have to work on balancing out more than two/four players, I pray for them. Metaphorically.

The issue with the Necroloth is it had very specific weaknesses that none of its opponents could exploit. That WOTW tournament was strange in that everyone brought in characters roughly around the T3 mark, with a few odd powers thrown in to mix things up, but for the most part everyone was from a sword-and-sorcery style background that gave the characters a good mesh. I suspect it was because Rilla hardcore nerfed firearms and other similar ranged attacks, essentially causing a really good balance of similar characters.

By accident I suspect, but I'll give Rilla props regardless.

Any one could have exploited it (he literally had a self destruct button any character could have made us of). Sand Wraith was the one that could only be harmed by Magical weapons.

Also that was probably Rilla's goal, or it was shear luck. Thing with fire arms, if you have them only a certain kind of set characters have a chance. Without them gives ppl a little more leeway in what they can throw in.

Still, my instinct was screaming at it. Not to mention using only a few non original pcs and not listing actual ability example like what you stated doesn't give me an accurate image of the tiers. Part of the issue I have with tiers is they don't provide max or minimal stat deceptions to go off of for a player to ensure they aren't in the next tier.

The tier system was quite terrible to be honest. Modern day multi-way is a little better if by only a little.

Something like Melons Fury character would be T6.(if just barely)

I'm not. Trust me, all girl here though I won't deny it was fun sending a car door through Lyzan's NPC's face in the fight. Sadly he ended up nailing me with a glass shard since Rach couldn't had trauma related to blades and like objects. XD So not sure who got the better of that deal.

Be nice not to be the only one. And Lyzan and I have only ever been in one match, in which i shockly did better than I thought I would XD. And despite being here from oldguild. I have not once been in any short of match with Rilla, Skallagrim, or yoshua171... come to think of it I don't recall even fighting ImportantNobody either... except kind of one time.

Starting to feel like Melon head is the only person in the arena some times.
<Snipped quote by MelonHead>

I'll keep that in mind. Namely as I manage to start them but can't get them finished. -_- Oh, correction I did finish, sort of, a match with Yosh. Jackels and The Flame character from the same universe though there's no CSes posted.

Though, my thoughts about Khan's skeleton all PC was it felt it was higher than a T-6 or at least what I expected for one. Then again, that's just my opinion after I read some of the CS.

Anyway back to writing up Virska...

It should be worth noting tier 6 is DBZ Andorid Saga strong.

Heck, Tier 5 is above the powers of Jedi Masters. And those chaps can move battlestar ships with their minds. (with general reflexes around Mach 30-40, I scarcely see any one with March one speed anything)

<Snipped quote by Fallenreaper>

Yeah, Khan's a liar, in terms of pure volume of fights he probably has more than anyone here.

Mhmm.

All worth it to get Senpai Skallagrim to notice me.

Also calling it now, Fallenreaper is probably secretly Lyzan.

<Snipped quote by MelonHead>

Were they armored hands? It seems odd that something like that would be OP.

Proof anything to do with incorporeal can be very unbalanced. One of the reasons I don't use a Sand Wraith character of mine from Old-guild.
<Snipped quote by GreivousKhan>

The Necroloth took Sigurd's best hit to the face and it barely cracked his mask, I think it's fair to say the difference in their strength was palpable.

Not even mentioning the flying hands. Fucking flying hands.
