I asked since it would be interesting to see a kind of sword type you don't normally see, like a saber or khopesh. Of course that would be up to Melon. I picture Fury using a smaller finesse weapon surprisingly, since his fighting style seems to suggest he prefers and preforms better with a offensive mindset. (which a shorter weapon forces you to have)

(longer weapons actually tend to give you a more passive defensive mindset.)
She just jumped vertically upward. Not a far distance, but she tucked her legs in and curled up into a ball almost to reduce her silhouette and height. The sword would've passed by under her, whereupon she re extends her legs as she comes back down, making her first contact her feet, which comes in a very short amount of time than an actually straight up vertical jump.

If you've ever, like, done squat jumps before, then you'll understand a bit better.

But whatever. Not like I'm gonna win. Just gonna wait then edit with a sword clash instead of an avoid.

That makes melon reverse swing make allot more sense. Though I'd still like to know what kind of grip he's using. In close combat those kind of stuff makes a surprising amount of difference.

Well try to hit you before you hit the ground is what I should probably say. I feel the need to point out that it's not a an end game move. There's a good three ways to deal with it.

Four actually, but the latter one would require to much precision/risk.

Also don't sell yourself so short. You started of in a compromising position against a fairly strong opponent so difficulty can be expected. But it can still easily go either way.

I'm hardly raving, it's just strange to be called out on voiding other people's actions when my character is logically intercepting them, where-as in this situation it seems like DJ just wrote what I said never happened just because.

If Vordak comes in and says he doesn't feel my character can slash with his sword quick enough to hit you when I say he did (provided you do nothing different), that's fair enough, but you can't just say that yourself.

Khan - As far as I can tell it was a standing jump, straight up and then back down again, same position, that may be why there was confusion over Judgement's sword work earlier.

The raving part is theatrics, not meant to be taken seriously.

Also if we can always switch dance partners if Melons style is throwing you off DJ, IM is a little more forgiving when it comes to rule of cool than Skalla or Melon.

It's difficult staying up all day and night to pretend to be someone from England and America, but it's worth it for the sweet sweet rank.

About that sword thing, what were you exactly asking? How to ICly get a sword or which kind of sword to use? :K

From what I read melon head attempted to intercept you as you fell. (though how it is written it's hard to tell where she jumped to, I originally though she flipped over his head to land behind him.)

Which is to say he hit you before you hit the ground. The recent post seems to ignore that fact. Which is what Melon is raving about.

Btw, do you want me to list all the spells my character knows?

@All, so anyone interested in pre-established affiliations between out characters?
Forsoff was kicked by another chicken when a pack of them assaulted the group after I killed the first one too easily.

Damn Forsoff the OP.

In other news @Rilla would our character have met each other before hand? Perhaps the option of some shared background?
Well, Skally was trying to talk to them, as he was a necromancer or something.

Also.

It may have been. As Melon was kicked in the back, forced head first into the ass of another player, whose character was then shot headfirst into a tree by the aforementioned head to ass, which broke his neck, killing him.

Who was that again?
Have you just ignored all talks of the 'Legend Kill'? xD

You guys seem to be referring to something other than the game I was in. I don't remember any of that, just a giant chicken that almost killed us. An uppity talking tiger. A couple giants. Then half the party becoming brain dead when we were attacked by corpses with the archer the only one doing anything useful and barely saving said brain dead folks.
