no clue why it take so long to load the RP pages but yet theirs nothing wonky about steam and using it a google....that reminds me when i had to wipe my comp because of adware, lol, it even showed up on steam!

Probably because RPG was crapping out the entire goddamn weekend.

Speaking of which... HEY! It's back!
Right-o, never got an answer to my question from last thread, I realized. Anyway, why is the City of Academies manufacturing ESPers again? I know they were using them to fight a war, but it's peacetime now.

I ask because it's fundamentally important to Ren's backstory, and I need it to finish up skills and use as reference for a small fraction of the personality sector.

EDIT:
Also, just curious, who'd rather have me write the ESP-bit I'm putting together in the form of some professor/teacher teaching a class with a more snarky tone, rather than the psuedo-document version I did last time?
Do I need to disregard my homework and test studying in order to create a Libra x Merthus fanfic?
"Oh my fucking..." Kiri groaned, turning over on his mattress as his alarm clock kept ringing into the day. He pulled his covers up over him and covered his head with a pillow to drown out that incessant ringing, but it just would not stop. "JAMES! BE A BRO AND SHUT THAT SHIT OFF I'M TRYING TO SLEEP!" he called out to the empty apartment. After not even a single response, he just figured that James had left already and that he was way too late for classes to make a difference, anyway - which may or may not have been true.

And that clock was still ringing.

"Grrr...." Kiri growled, converting his forearm into a spike and blasting it into the clock proper, silencing the mechanism with a sickening SMASH!.And then he went back to sleep.
So, figuring I failed to mention this beforehand, I'll be gone most of the weekend (well, today, I guess) because lolthree-more-weeks-of-class, a science test to study for, and an essay on the Punic Wars due on Tuesday. Fun.

I'll probably throw up a one-liner of Kiri blowing up his alarm clock and sleeping in, in the next five minutes, just to handwave his not being there.
So after a spark of inspiration, I realized I may or may not be ending up rewriting the entire ESP system (Don't worry though, it functions more or less the same) so for now that bit is on a temporary hiatus as I get my crap together. Though I will say the rankings are now:

Beta-level - Used to be Class 4/Way Above Average
Gamma-level - U2B Class 3/Average/Useful in Daily Life
Delta-level - U2B Class 1 + 2 (Too much overlap)/New or Basic or Just Plain Too Weak to Be Useful Except Under Uncommon Circumstances

And of course, Alpha-level is still made up of "Those Assholes"

I'll get the actual thing up with the System Revision (or maybe post it separately sooner; they don't overlap too much.)

EDIT: Also, I've taken the implication with the arc we have planned, and Ren's ESP ability. The way it all came together in my head basically turned him into Accelerator.
Feel free to end the day.
"...Alright," Kiri replied skeptically, "but if you're getting at what I think you're getting at, I'd organize a bit more than a classroom. There'll be some aftershocks after I drop that bomb." And with that advice provided to his pal, the Japanese teen waved James adieu and headed off himself.

Finally reaching the apartment of his partner, Kiri checked the door. Locked. Which was good, since that meant she wasn't dumb. Thinking about how to get past this obstacle, Kiri noted that he may or may not have a key somewhere back home... But it was getting late and he wanted to get this over with. After taking a scrap from his notes, jotting down the following message, and sliding it under the door, Kiri went home.

Should probably finish up the day once this short interaction between Kiri and Elu finishes.

Elu had left the hallway her thoughts pondering on what her teacher and weapon had been talking about. They had been talking about her, she knew it all too well and she wanted to know what secret that Kiri didn't trust her with. She walked into her small little apartment and slammed the door closed as she flopped down on the couch.

James let out a chuckle as Kiri excessively refuted James' idea that Kiri had entrusted his partner with James' identity as a witch. "What?" he grinned. "How could it be? Weren't Meisters and weapons supposed to see each other as partners?" he said in mock shock. Back when he was still with the witch community, James had been taught on how the Meister's fought but a lot of it was still a mystery to him, with his parents - later, parent - only starting to seriously teach him how to fight after his mother was killed, and he ran away shortly after anyways.

"Hmph. You know me - I don't play well with other kids," Kiri grunted as he and James neared the exit of the school, having failed to locate the former's Weapon partner. "Well that was a waste of time," he remarked, running a hand through his dark hair. He pondered for a moment before shrugging, "Probably at her apartment. If you want we can head over." With that said, the young Japanese man headed in that direction anyway, evidently having set on that course of action.
