Ew... Freedom

See. Someone understands.

Happy Treason Day 2014.
She was too busy celebrating Freedom Friday.
Well it depends. Exactly what time-period's level of tech are you imagining here? If it's any time after the 1900's (1850's if you REALLY need to fudge history) then powered flight is a definite possibility. Alternatively, human culture could just be more advanced. Or you could pick and choose technological aspects of various time periods and throw them into an anachronism stew.

Also quick edit to CS. If the term 'science' is too modern, I can change it to 'natural philosophy'
The light novel's an okay read, but IIRC it isn't up anymore on BT. Don't think I'll be watching it until the entire season is over since I don't like waiting a week between episodes.

...Or maybe I will. Because it's Gun Gale.
Arashi continued hiking through the wilderness, dragon hefted over shoulder. It wasn't exactly an easy task, however, as the dragon he had procured had decided to squirm about a bit and resist his grip throughout the entirety of the nighttime walk, which made it rather cumbersome to carry her. He was far enough away from the darn place anyway. Besides, he definitely needed the rest after that little heist he had just pulled. He also needed it for carrying the dragon, who would likely be squirming even more after a night's sleep. So rather than, say, continuing onwards away from the aforementioned farm of dragons, he decided to stop in his tracks and set up camp, so to speak. In actuality, the 'camp' he was setting up basically consisted of nothing more than a fire and a bedroll.

Arashi attempted to set the dragon down on the ground gently, but unfortunately all that moving about was quite the hindrance to his ability to do so. So he just ended up unceremoniously dropping her onto the ground before sitting himself down on his bedroll nearby, against the trunk of a fallen tree, and dozing off. It seemed that the dragon's fidgeting would be unanswered until... Whenever the blonde young man decided to wake up. Needless to say, for Sakura it would be a long night dawn.

Fortunately for the dragon, Arashi finally woke up. Unfortunately, however, by the time he awoke the sun was already high above the horizon. Or at least high enough to shine directly in his eyes and wake him up in the first place. Arashi yawned loudly before hearing his stomach growl, which made a lot of sense given it was late in the day already. So, finding the need to sate his hunger, the young thief dug through his rucksack and removed some foodstuffs. His objective was accomplished, for now at least, so he could afford to reward himself with a larger meal. Once he got to some town he could just restock his food supply after all. No real need to be conservative about it.

Once Arashi finished up heating his food on the fire, he began digging in. Who knew food tasted so good after you rationed it for extremely long lengths of time? In the middle of his breakfast-lunch, Arashi glanced at the dragon he had retrieved yesterday. Now that he thought about it, he probably should give it something to eat. He looked down to his unfinished food. Well, he could spare it couldn't he?

Arashi approached Sakura and took the bag off of her head. Little did he know he was to be in for a large earful. Just his luck.
Hai Yami~

Name: Rio Valori
Age: 17
Species: Neko
Appearance: "I do not see what the purpose of this request is, but I will oblige: 'Meow.'"
Romantic Preference: Demisexual. What it actually ends up turning into is going to be explored within the RP.
Personality: A rather peculiar fellow, to be completely frank. She seems to be the stoic, detached sort of person, what with the constant deadpan expression and the empty-eyed gaze. This is not a false assumption, but it isn't a true assumption either. Rio may have that perpetually impassive look plastered on her face, and she may constantly speak in this droll, downright clinical tone of voice, but she's not as emotionless as she seems. She's actually a kind and gentle person, if a bit too honest. She tries her hardest to emphasize with others and understand them, but usually 'fails' due to her own odd mindset. Incidentally, this makes her a great listener, but horrible when it actually comes to reassuring her friends. Additionally, her straightforward personality often results in unintentional snarkiness, which can make her come off as cold at times. She has an odd sense of humor, usually revolving around puns and other forms of wordplay, and has a tendency of taking metaphors literally. She's also prone to overreacting in her own strange, reserved manner. She often thinks out-loud and actually talks quite a lot more than one would expect from someone of her demeanor. Though this is more from trying to get her point across rather than any true motormouth tendencies. In regards to her speech patterns, Rio rarely uses contractions and almost always refers to people by their full name.
Bio: Rio lives on her own and rarely has contact with her mother and father, who are often gone on some kind of trip or another. Apparently she's some sort of self-styled scientist who records her 'findings' on her 'not diary' and has a penchant for SCIENCE!. According to Rio herself, her life overall could be described as 'effectively within the average norm.'
Job: Student, "Scientist"
Family/Friends/Relationships: Ruca and Kyouko Valori (Dad & Mom)

...I'll throw up a human CS eventually.
I'm fine. 'Bit bored though. Yourself?
Mine should be up some time later this week... If it's fine may I reserve the title of SHSL Thief?
Trusting someone is different from being cautious. For example, you may trust your best pal but you're definitely going to be on your guard if you're in a dark alleyway at night to meet your friends' friends.

Additionally, he has that hero complex of his and by the time Liz dropped the invite they were already pretty far out. No way he's just gonna let a noob go back alone when death means that people die when they are killed. Besides, IIRC party members can't attack each other so getting stabbed in the ass is no worry.

Even more so, back then he was only accounting for himself. Now he's accounting for another and his hero complex.

That about cover everything for you?

EDIT: If not, I'll get back to you after dinners.
Yukimura shot Lily a look that essentially said 'what the hell are you doing?' without the young man having to say it himself. The white-haired player pulled his hand away and turned to their new 'friend' (hopefully). "You'd definitely be right about that," he nodded in understanding, "but that just means the people who've gotten as far as we have are just that much better. Can't blame me for trying to be cautious." After seeing Rath unequip his weapon of choice, Yukimura drew his... but stabbed it into the ground beside Lily. "Unfortunately, I'm not willing to relinquish my weapon, but that'll have to do," the swordsman explained with a casual shrug, before approaching Rath and shaking the latter's hand, "I go by <<Ikusaba>>. It's a pleasure."

Dropping his hand to his side, Yukimura looked around as if something had caught his attention. "Anyone else notice the two players nearby?" he asked bluntly, intentionally raising the volume of his voice in order to tip off the two players in question.
