'What the fu-'

Anna's reaction to the strange PA announcement was cut off by the appearance of the animatronic black and white bear with the stupid voice. And the reaction she had to that arrival was more or less the same, except maybe with a few words here and there. A headmaster who called their students bastards? She could probably deal with that (it wasn't as if it was false in her particular case...), but a headmaster who spoke via some kind of robotic bear from one of Harvey Dent's wet dreams? A bit too surreal for her, that was for sure. Apparently it went by the name of 'Monokuma'. Why it used gratuitous Japanese in an American location, or at least what seemed to be an American location, was unknown. Perhaps the headmaster was a weaboo or something. Oh well, quirkiness aside, it seemed that they'd all get some freaking answers already.

Now if only most of the others just stopped spazzing out and calmed down, they could actually get somewhere! As if on cue, the monochromatic bear spoke once more, but instead of answers, they just got a bomb dropped in one simple, 12-word sentence:

'Today is the first day in your new lives of mutual killing!'

What the hell did he think this was? Battle Royale? The Hunger Games? Avengers Arena? Didn't this person know killing students was rather over-done? Sure it was dramatic and all, but they hardly knew each other. If Anna was an idealistic person, she'd say that they were all above the influence of this bear. However, considering the violence that had erupted but a few minutes earlier, she was sure that one of the others would be taking this farce seriously. She could only hope that somebody outside realized that they were missing and had the good judgment to contact the law enforcement. But then again, with the stuff she got away with, law enforcement wasn't really much to bank on. Hopefully they'd prioritize the kidnapping of sixteen over a random mugging. Assuming they were actually searching. They could've been out two hours, or they could've been out for two [i]days. She'd have to compare the time on her watch to one of the school clocks later...

But not now. Now there was a show to watch. Anna watched on with a mildly bemused expression as the burly tan lady from before - Gwen - picking up their headmaster and tossing him off to the distance. What would happen now? Would the bear explode? Perhaps several spears would fall from the ceiling and impale Gwen? Better her tamper with it and face the consequences than Anna, that was for sure.

Anyway, Anna supposed it was time to quit being an observer and actually join the conversation being held. Standing off to the side watching wasn't exactly inconspicuous after all. She approached the group talking about the police rushing in to save them and raised her hand a bit. "Yes, hi. American here. Don't know too much about law enforcement, but this place is a boarding academy, isn't it?" she asked, "Even if we were all missing for more than 24 hours, we were last seen at the school in which we are supposed to stay within more than 24 hours. There'd be no real reason for the police to arrive in the first place. Any worried mothers would probably just be chalked up to paranoia. ...Of course that's assuming that we're in the real Unity Academy in the first place - discounting how low the chance of us not being there would be. I imagine procuring transport for 16 unconscious teens would be slightly more difficult than just renting a van."
...Wait. Have any of our characters pointed out that we're in an academy where there are dorms? Because that seems like an important detail when we're talking about potentially being stuck at a school for more than 24 hours.
I just realized that earlier in the IC I mentioned Anna having a watch on her.

Of course, until we get the chance to compare it to a school clock they can't really do much with it. Though Sarcastic could just shoot me down beforehand and say "Yup they're the same time." or some such thing.

EDIT: Though that would only be able to tell us potentially how many hours it's been. Not days, weeks, etc.

I watched parts of it, not completely.Btw why would people think we are missing. For all we know we just arrived earlier today at this school where we sleep in dorms. I think maybe after two days parents would begin to worry as they can't contact their children. Or maybe already near the evening.

There's also the part where we could have been transported to Japan, what with Monokuma's name containing gratuitous Japanese, even though OOCly we most definitely are still in 'Murica.

Either that or our Mastermind is a weaboo.
I did the trifecta of watching, reading, and playing.
Shh. You can't let logic get in the way of explosions and guns.
Okay, I propose this course of action:

1. Arm everyone with guns (except for the Lunatic, probably)
2. Plant an explosive charge on the stair-gate
3. Repeat 2 as we move up the floors
4. Get to the control room.
5. Kick down the door and go in guns blazing
6. Kill the Mastermind
7. Escape the school with more explosives.

Alternatively, just skip 3-6 by planting the explosives at the door. Or a wall.
Hmm... Spriggs, can Gwen put together improvised weapons? Like, makeshift firearms and such.
That's why we hit hard, and hit fast. Take 'em down before he knows what's up.
Gaiz. Gaiz. You're forgetting something.
