Personality: Anna is selfish and greedy to a fault. She just wants and wants with no refunds or returns. Regarding her feelings about her SHSL talent, she isn't really ashamed of what she's done; shoplifting, grand larceny, pickpocketing, stealing the Mona Lisa, jaywalking, etc. She's definitely a proud individual who takes pride in her highly successful career and has a rather inflated ego because of it, but not without good reason. She's definitely smart as hell, able to plan out elaborate heists to get highly secured loot, and can use that knowledge and critical thinking in other fields, not just taking things from people. Although, despite the unsavory reputation and the ego problems, she can be compassionate, but maybe not necessarily kind, and tends to be overly affectionate with her 'treasures', including people.

And so the tale of the world's greatest thief began with humble beginnings. An unwanted child born of a prostitute in Las Vegas, she grew up without ever having a real home or being acknowledged by her 'mother', and spent most of her childhood just wandering the streets of Sin City rather than staying in the shitty brothel apartment of hers. Eventually, she'd make her way to the Strip at a young enough age and was mesmerized by the ritzy buildings and the money she so desperately needed being haphazardly thrown about in casinos. She definitely needed to get a cut of that, and drunken tourists would make for pretty easy targets. The child in question started with lower risk operations: pickpocketing, petty thievery of objects to sell to fences, and the occasional breaking and entering of some store. Eventually she got greedier and greedier, taking more high-risk, high-reward jobs. Thus profit she made off of career theft for items, information, and all sorts of things increased exponentially, eventually culminating in at least 5 Swiss bank accounts and a luxurious penthouse in good old Vegas filled to the brim with various stolen goods, from a finely crafted table to the Mona Lisa and everything in between. Her 'choice housing decorations' would usually catch the suspicion of someone, but 'cash donations' to the right 'charity' were a good way to get folks to look the other way and not bother to question it. All things considered, she probably wouldn't be going to Orion Academy what with having your real name and location being unknown to any authorities, but unfortunately a botched heist against the Togami Conglomerate brought her skill-set into light. And despite escaping custody, was located and given an offer to the Academy.

"Well this is a good start to things," Kaz deadpanned as he rolled his eyes in exasperation. In-fighting on the first day was definitely not a good sign of things to come, though it did give an opportunity for him to gauge the skills and abilities of the others in his team. Plus, as long as he wasn't hit by some kind of stray web blast or something, he wouldn't join in the melee-a-trois. Besides, he wasn't really good for full power frontal assaults anyway, more a 'subterfuge and stealth' kind of guy, given his condition.

"Or, y'know, they could just kill real scavengers for their old world junk," Levi remarked casually as jumped back onto the bed. The mattress felt like heaven on his back, which was logical, given that lying on the cold hard ground definitely got his back stiff as hell. The differences between the two sleeping surfaces was massive. And Levi loved it. The room was warm and insulated, there was a semblance of civilization nearby, AND it was close to their scouting mission objective. Truly this was a convenient place to be. The vendor discount from David helped too. Speaking of which....

"I'm gonna see 'bout sellin' off some of the shit I picked up," Levi declared before exiting the corrugated iron shack.

"What." was the only thing that could be heard from Kaz as the large robotic dragon by the name of Magnus burst in with a terrifying cry and a rain of rubble. In an instant there were two slips of paper, Shuwen, in his hand, each inscribed with the same Fuwen. With a little tug of the stored energy, something not at all strenuous, the Seals of Armament activated and were subsequently replaced by a pair of kan-dao. He brought up the blades in a defensive position as he kept his eye on the mechanized beast. The whole pose went on for a while until the group said something about the creature being a pet. After that, he cut his link to the swords, causing them to disperse.

"Well I haven't heard any jets or anything arrive, so if they aren't arriving by land they probably aren't here," Kaz answered Jun as he approached the pissed off military woman, which, considering her mood among other things, was probably not a good idea. He looked Jun over, taking note of her body language. "I take it you have a bone to pick with these guys?" he asked.
