I'll probably post later today or tomorrow.
"Well," Leonardo began as the two CEDEF agents ran through the rainy town, "I figure our options are pretty minimal. There's A) 'get to the base', B) 'locate and secure the Sawada baby', C) 'kill every enemy agent in the vicinity', and D) 'wait around, fingerpopping each other's assholes.' Now, I don't know about you, but I'd rather not fingerpop anyone's asshole. Nor would I like to waste time in the pouring rain on eliminating a dozen agents out of a thousand." Which left A and B as possible courses of action Leo would prefer to take during this siege on quaint little Namimori town. He could see suits between alleyways, left and right. "I wouldn't run if I were you," the CEDEF boss advised his subordinate as he slowed down to a brisk walk, "they can't see our faces, so if we walk, they might ign- Wait. You're holding a sword. Scratch that. Looks like we're going to be doing option C anyway." He tipped his hat towards the suited fellows nearby, seemingly closing in. To be honest, it was to be expected. A normal person doesn't haul around a distinctly European sword in a Japanese area full of mafiosi. No, you'd carry a Japanese blade, which would make carrying a weapon a tad bit more socially acceptable.
To say Hinata nearly had a heart attack when the white haired lady in the furred coat randomly landed before him and Ami would be an understatement. The combination of adrenaline and surprise was not a very good one to experience, and it had caused the young man to jump a little bit, shinai brought up to his chest instinctively in a defensive position. As the lady made her necessary animesque declarations (really, why was he thinking of anime at a time like this!?), Hinata could hear the sounds of footsteps on wet pavement. Whatever was after Ami, seemed to be getting closer!

...But could they trust this mysterious white haired... swordswoman? If there was anything that interested Hinata, it was the sword that lady seemed to be hauling around. Though, the fact she was bearing a weapon freely did nothing to calm his nerves, no matter how much interest he held in swords and the like. Hinata looked to Ami, as if telling her that it was her call, after all, the woman seemed to be more familiar with her than himself.

And then fighting broke out. They wasted too much time, it seemed. The guys caught up with them, and now Ami was gonna die and it'd all be his fault. Even if he could fight, he was carrying Ami and there were so many of them. Not to mention that his sword wasn't even combat ready. Fortunately for them though, the woman seemed to be on there side - or at least, not on the bad guys'. But... Hinata's vision was focused on the blood pooling on the ground, mixing with all the rain water. He could feel some fluid make it's way up his throat as he looked on in wide-eyed horror.

Fortunately again, the sound of rain and the woman's direction made it so nobody other than Ami could see his vomit. Nor the pool of vomit left in its wake.

The young man was breathing heavily out of some type of odd fear-adrenaline-sadness-pity mixture. Though, he had managed to compose himself before the killer looked back at them and commanded them to move.

Yeah. Hinata was definitely not gonna deny that command. "C'mon Ami, we're moving," he muttered as he trudged on, doing his best to ignore the new sight and smell.
"Huh. Not bad," Claude remarked to himself upon consumption of roughly 1/16 of the amount of Castiel's week old candy, "Seems a bit... Off though. Still, doesn't quite subtract from the taste." He was especially a fan of the green apple and grape flavoured candies, but he had opted for avoiding the orange and lemon flavoured ones. Fortunately, Castiel hadn't loaded it with those like Claude would figure she would've, had she known his flavouring preferences. Speaking of the Devil, there the bluenette was, walking towards him it seemed. Claude's eyes narrowed. 'What does she want now?' he thought, preparing for the worst.

Surprisingly enough, Castiel seemed rather civil. Or at least, 20x more civil than before. Though Claude didn't show it, he was actually somewhat pleasantly surprised. She didn't arrive to go insult him, insult anyone else, or otherwise make some sort of offense, just a declaration of shared experience, and something that actually, genuinely surprised the young man. She made an admission of weakness and what seemed to be an offer of 'training partnership'. Or at the very least, an offer to play nice, complete with promise to not act like she had just woken on the wrong side of the bed for the 80th night in a row.

"Alright," Claude answered simply, "I'm game."
Ren looked at Arydun with a face that basically said 'are you some kind of stupid?' without having to use any breath actually posing the question. It wasn't that her suggestion was illogical, but rather, it was that final question tacked on to the end that was quite off-putting. He stared for a bit before just shaking his head. "Does it really matter if you aren't enrolled?" Ren asked rhetorically, "It's just for one day, and only to use their library. Maybe to get some free lunch, but nothing more." He pondered the convenience of Arydun's spirit guidance plan for a moment before adding to his statement, "If you think you can finish by the time we procure a uniform, then go ahead. Fine by me, but it seems pretty inconvenient. You wouldn't be able to know if they were helpful or not, which would mean that we could possibly have wasted 'X' amount of time for nothing."

Ren then directed his attention to that old dragon book key to their entire goal. "So, anything useful in there? Like whether or not we actually need to find the others? Or where some of the ones that don't seem like they would've been found yet could be?"
*le points at myself*

Good, in character way to get Gareth as an ally, and I imagine that the Heretic would like to give a giant middle finger to the Dark Lord.

I dunno what that is

Well, during that episode, one of the main characters gets framed for assassinating a government official, so they put him in some parade-ish thing before his execution. So, the other main characters decide to use it as an opportunity to announce their presence and save their pal, so they have this huge plan and then they put it in action. Naturally, since it's a 50 episode series, it works and everyone survived.

I think you can see where I'm going with this?
Claude's eye twitched, and this time not out of exertion. Castiel was really getting on his nerves, damn it. Though, he had to agree. His time was absolutely pathetic. Having someone point it out was what bothered him the most. So be it, he was the slowest, but at least he could take solace in the fact that Castiel seemed to have been equally taxed, despite her faster speed. 'Insubordinate trash,' he thought as Castiel decided to 'rage quit' as it were and storm off, with their group's instructor following after. 'What a waste,' Claude thought, sighing in frustration, [/i]'he should just go deal with people who actually give a damn about this.'[/i] Though, he was given time to recuperate, and so he would. But rest wasn't the only thing he'd go for; he'd figure out the trick behind their instructor's plan. Shrouding wasn't a thing, but Claude would operate under the assumption that the guy had a soul power that could replicate that effect, anyway. It took but a moment to formulate a suitable plan of action. Now to redeem himself...

'Ah, there he is,' Claude though upon their instructor's return. Before Claude could volunteer himself, the man had decided to ask if he was willing. "Heh," Claude grinned, "After last time's disappointment? Hell yeah. I'm not going down that easily." He stood back up and took his place in the center. However, he only focused his sight for a few moments, just enough to sufficiently scan the area. Not as intensive a process as before, where he had to prolong the use to find three objects. That over and done with, Claude activated his own soul power.

The smelly 'tang' of ozone filled the air. Surrounding Claude, several oxygen particles separated from each other before combining again to create the chemical with the smell in question. By sensing for patches within his range that weren't full of ozone, he could locate an object invisible to himself, and then search that area for whatever object their boss had hidden. It sort of defeated the whole 'spirit' of it, but technically he couldn't be scolded for it - Cayenne never said you couldn't find it the way Claude had. Plus there was that whole thing about 'outside the box thinking'. Once he had 'felt' the area, he directed his vision to it, revealing the item in question.

"Found it," Claude said simply before handing back his paper, with the answer written on it, "Now if you don't mind, I'm going to take a rest." Immediately after that, he allowed himself to fall on his butt before laying his body out. He removed the candy bag from earlier and began consuming some in order to build up energy.
Naoto frowned, but opted not for pulling the trigger, which was helpful since Akihara had just positioned himself behind the Shade in question and decided to pump some bullets into the thing. Naoto whistled, "That was nice~" He then wrestled his arm from Moeka's grip, this time actually succeeding, before aiming his pistol in a different direction and firing straight at a Shade. He waltzed exaggeratedly over to the edge of the street corner and turned on his heel, looking to his allies, "Well now~! Sorry to say but I need to go take a piss! Be right back~"

That was a lie, of course.

BGM: -BREAK-

Naoto fired some shots at a few nearby Shades in order to incite their wrath.

He darted through the nearby streets, having evidently decided that he'd be faster going off on his own, which was rather likely since they were just a bunch of Shades and not a horde of Diabola or anything sufficiently dangerous like that. Hopefully the rest would take the hint, splitting up to take down foes would be faster and thus a more efficient use of time. Though of course Akihara would need a partner to help out just in case, but that was a given.

Naoto emptied a magazine into the three Shades from earlier, strafing all the while. A maddened-looking grin spread across Naoto's face as he fought, maneuvering through his little patch of street as he fired at the Shades.
Shurikal, is the invisible shiny rock just invisible or actually disappeared?

Also, testing for lag, this post is.

EDIT: Ah screw it. Gonna assume it's just invisible.
