Oh, hardly! Jamie is actually pretty cool too, especially if you read the books. He's not the biggest fan favorite, but still likable enough.
Carson’s English accent shocked her a bit “Trixy might roll off of your Anglo tongue a little bit better.” she said as she accepted his friendly handshake in greeting, but her eyes judged him. Her own French accent came off thick, but not in the lame modern style, it was Old French. A brief chuckle escaped her lips “Forgive me, Englishman. I can hardly hold you responsible for the Hundred Years’ War… they still teach you about that in school, right?” she asked with a smile toying on her lips. “Well, would you look at the time, I do believe I am supposed to meet my new comrades now. It was good to put a face to the name, Englishman.” She said as she saluted him in the American way, storing away the nugget that she would probably never address him as Carson again.

Béatrix looked up at the sky and shook her head with a slight smile “Can you believe I’m working for the English, Francis? Father would kill me if he ever saw it.” She whispered as she pushed open the door to the Main Building, excited to meet new partners to work with. After working alone for so long, you kind of long to have someone there to watch your back… especially when your list of enemies more than dwarfed your list of friends, as Trixy’s does.
Also, I'm digging the avatar. Tyrion is one of the most well-rounded and clever characters I have come across, a definite ASOIAF favorite. :]
Trixy walked towards the entrance to the compound, her footfalls so light that they barely shifted the gravel beneath her feet. A warm breeze brushed strands of raven-colored hair across her face. I could get used to this California weather she thought to herself with a smile. A slight twist in her stomach reminded her that this new Regiment vampire diet was not something she cared to get used to.

Pushing her thoughts aside, Béatrix stepped through the entrance, remembering that Carson told her to meet the other newbies in the main building at this precise hour. It appeared that her thoughts seemed to manifest him, as she looked up to see Carson just outside the main building. “Hey there, handsome” she said with a foxy smile “did I come to the right place?” she asked, although she figured that with 630 years on this Earth, it might be safe to assume that she didn’t need to read the newbie map to find the way. In her chosen profession, knowing your surroundings intuitively meant the difference between life and death, and you surely didn’t come to see this many centuries with your nose shoved into a piece of paper.
Character Name – Béatrix de Le Croix (Trixy for short)
Race - Vampire
Nationality - French
Gender - Female
Age – 630, turned at around age 18
Appearance –
Height – 5’8
Weight – 125

Clothing – Whatever outfit best fits the next job, fitting in is key – never drawing attention until it is time to snuff out the flame. She wears Kevlar in or underneath all of her clothing.

Weapons – She dual wields glock 22s in combat and almost always has them concealed on her person somewhere, along with a combat knife.

Specialty – Infiltration and close combat. Her years of being a hitwoman of sorts alerted the Regiment to her skills in investigation and detainment.

Skills – She is stealthy, believably deceptive, has elder level healing, finely tuned mental control abilities, a precise marksman aim, and a killer smile.

Flaws – She suffers from bloodlust, vengeful behavior, has a slew of supernatural enemies that she has racked up over the years, a lack of trust in others, and a vendetta against Werewolves.

Fears – When you reach a certain age, fears mean less and less… even death doesn’t seem all to unwelcome. One fear, however, remains for Béatrix, the fear of losing a loved one - A fear easily avoided if you choose not to love.

Personality – Years of being a self-employed hitwoman have taken a toll on Béatrix, and her senses are those of a hardened killer. In the first years of her vampire life, Béatrix made many rash decisions and could hardly keep her emotions in check. These days, a serene calm can be found in her face, the mask of a true actress. As the Regiment observed, Béatrix has her vampiric urges and emotions under complete control, although she does enjoy giving in to her bloodlust – humans could have their vices, why not the supernatural as well? Although Trixy can come off as flirtatious and friendly, she has built an icy wall around herself. If you don’t get too attached to somebody, it doesn’t mean that much when they are ripped away.

Backstory - The end of the 14th century in Europe was a time of revolution and crisis, with the Hundred Years' War between the English and the French for Western France, the Black Death decimating the continent, and famine afflicting the poor. Béatrix de Le Croix was born to a noble French family in the winter of 1367. She lived a life of luxury for a time, as her family was wealthy and powerful.

In the year of 1385, Béatrix had reached an age where marriage was the talk of the entire town, let alone the family. Back in these days, women had little choice in the matters of marriage, especially nobles. Béatrix’ parents had suitors lined up at the door for her, but everyone knew it for the ruse it was, her future husband was already chosen for her. The groom-to-be was the ideal political match, and the complete opposite of a love connection. The man was portly, red-faced and smelled of soured milk on a good day.

Fortunately for Béatrix (although others at the time may have disagreed with that sentiment) the Black Death had fallen upon her like a war hammer. It was on one of the nights when Béatrix’ sickly coughing had her up late into evening, that a soft rapping came at her window. Recognizing the face of one of the suitors that she had taken quite a fondness for, Béatrix let Francis into her home. Before all else, Francis planted a hungry kiss on her lips. If she hadn’t been so sick, blood would have rushed to her cheeks in waves.

That night, Francis studied her sickly condition and made her an offer: he would cure her of this disease and save her life, if she promised to run away with him and leave this life of nobility and fame behind. Being young and in love, Béatrix made the decision any flowered girl would make, she chose a life of freedom with this overwhelmingly handsome man. Francis turned her into a vampire that very night and prepared her for her new life to come. First though, they had to stage her death of course, an easy thing to do when you no longer have a pulse and the Black Death was already upon you. Believing that their only heir had passed away in her youth, Béatrix’ parents never came looking for her.

Béatrix and Francis were happy together for quite a while, they traveled the world, new and old, and made love in all of the most beautiful places. Béatrix enjoyed her new found strength and powers, and she felt untouchable. Unfortunately for Francis, Béatrix thought wrong… One fateful night, Béatrix awoke alone in their bed. Francis frequently went out of town for meetings that Béatrix asked little questions about, it wasn’t really a woman’s place to pry. But the night before, Francis hadn’t mentioned any meetings. Béatrix did know one thing about her lover’s dealings, and that was that they were very dangerous.

Béatrix scrambled out of bed in fear and ran out into the living area. A scream burst from her chest as she took in the scene of her lover splayed out across the floor. Savage claw marks were raked into Francis’ chest and his heart was absent. Béatrix crumpled to her knees at the realization of what had happened. Francis’ job came with dangers, it came with enemies, enemies like werewolves who would come into your house in the middle of the day and kill you.

From that fateful day and forward, Béatrix picked up where Francis had left off. She would avenge Francis’ death and slay every crooked supernatural being that she came across, especially the wolves. Béatrix knew enough about werewolves to know that she couldn’t beat them in strength, but she could outwit them, deceive them, and catch them by surprise. Over the years, Béatrix honed her skills of mental manipulation, deception, and private investigation. As technologies and weapons changed, so did she, trying to stay one step ahead of the enemy. When the Regiment picked up scent of this fearsome self-claimed hitwoman with a bad reputation among the supernaturals, they couldn’t resist adding her to their Investigations team.

Currently whipping up a CS. :]
Just submitted this possible CS to the GM, let me know what you guys think! :]
Name: Callida
Nickname: Calli
Age: 21
Personality: Quick to anger, passionate, crafty, goal-driven, and believably deceptive. She is constantly in and out of relationships, but doesn’t believe in love – just fiery lust.
Class: Flame
Race: Dwarf, being a good foot shorter than most humans
Guild: Resins Afell, but is commonly sent on spy missions to other guilds because of her class
Affiliation: Evil
Home Town: Crimson Red, but she frequents Arrowi City for missions.
Appearance:
Sibling: Clarence, known to be deceased.
Backstory: Calli remembers little of her childhood, other than knowing that it was pleasant for a little while. Twins Callida and Clarence were born to a classless dwarf couple in Crimson Red, and it was a miracle of sorts that they were born with such great power. Calli remembers laughing a lot and lighting more than a few homes on fire with Clarence, all on accident, of course! When it was about to be the twins’ 13th name day, the raid came – this is when Calli’s memory gets fuzzy. Calli awoke from the raid in a forested area just outside her home town, screams of anguish echoed all around her for what seemed like miles. Her breathing picked up and she began to run in search of Clarence, she hated to be apart from him… and he had never felt so distant before. Calli’s legs brought her to her home before her mind could even catch up and her eyes could take in the scene before her. After realizing that her family home had been reduced to ash, she scrambled through the wreckage, “Clarence!” she screamed for her beloved brother in fear. Her frantic fingers raked through the charred wreckage, unable to feel the heat still lingering. It was then that she found them, a set of three skeletons huddled in the corner of what used to be her brother’s room. Tears streamed down her face as the realization struck her – her family was dead. Thoughts raced through her head, knowing that her brother couldn’t have been killed by flame alone, something had to have led to his death prior to the flames claiming his flesh. The sudden sound of footsteps startled Calli, and it was only then that she realized her thoughts had manifested themselves in screams and moans of sorrow as she clutched her brother’s bones to her chest. “Come with me, dear, and together we will avenge your family” the Caster man promised, and Callida never thought twice about agreeing. That was when the rage came, that was when she chose her alignment. She would find the Caster with enough power to bring her twin brother back from the grave, and together, they would make the world pay.
Weapon(s): Fire magick, a flaming whip and a make-shift pistol fires rocks using her own fire powers.
Outfit (Optional):
Theme Song (Optional):
And because this one is too good to resist…

Other: Ever since losing her family and joining the Casters, Calli has ruthlessly trained her powers to become as strong as she can be without her brother… but she is nothing in comparison to what she once was with him. She carries her brothers remains with her at all times to feel close to him still, hoping that one day she will be able to bring him back.
I've never actually played any warcraft aside from a few hours or so. The avatar is an edited version of a photo to represent my favorite D&D and roleplay character - Willow, an elven druid with a bit of a dark side. :]
Hello, beautifuls!
The name is Silent and I have been searching for a new place on the internet to call home! (I hope this can be it!)
I first got into roleplaying many moons ago when I was still in high school - considering I have graduated from college since then, it's been a while! I started roleplaying on Heather Brewer's website until she took the forum down, and many of us avid roleplayers moved to our own fan-created "minion horde", and we were happy for a few years. Recently said forum has undergone a major shift, and all of the previous activity on the site kind of died out. Needless to say, I have been lonely and need to express my creativity once more, so here I am!
Things I like: fantasy, D&D, elves, fairies, vampires, most other supernatural creatures, and romance
Things I'm not too much of a fan of: bad grammar, playing in fandom roleplays (I prefer creativity and originality in worlds/characters), things that are too highschool or teenage based (since I'm in my twenties)
