Lol, to be fair, I was one of the first people to show interest in this rp... the first, actually. I just am currently searching for a full time job and had a 7 hour long interview today and got home to see all of these other posts before I could post my CS :p
If Beatrix hadn’t had such good control of her emotions and facial expressions, she would have flinched at the ‘bloodsuckers’ insult, you’d think Carson would have a little more respect for the race he was currently speaking with… it’s not like she could call him a ‘bloodbag’ and have that be okay. She shook it out of her mind and let him finish his spiel.

"A classy vampire nightclub, you say? Odd, I guess I'll have to leave my hooker get-up for another mission." Trixie said to Carson with a bit of a chuckle "Good thing I brought all of those clothes with me, eh, Englishman? I have the perfect outfit for every occasion." But ten minutes? That was barely enough time to lace up a corset, let alone also have to prepare the newbie vamp and humans.

When David asked for her help in vampire style advice she agreed to help him, but said that she needed to go get herself dressed first… because looking classy took a little bit more time for a woman. Trixy encouraged David to go check out what kind of clothing Mikael had to offer and agreed to meet them in the men’s quarters once she was completely ready. She used her vampiric speed to flit away from David and the others and go back to her room. Trixy slung one of the suitcases on her bed and unzipped it. Once the zipper was about halfway undone, the pressure of the clothing inside caused the top of the suitcase to fly open and clothes flung about. Beatrix couldn’t help but laugh as she rifled through them to find the correct articles. She pulled on a pair of black fishnets and laced up a dark black and blue leather corset, pulling the strings so tight that a human in her place would have broken ribs and no way to breathe. Trixy’s skirt fluffed out from the bottom of the corset in gothic elegance, with tufts of black tulle at her hips that could easily holster and conceal her dual pistols, she had it designed for that purpose. Her combat knife was hidden underneath her corset and between her shoulder blades. Trixy clipped a miniature black top hat with dark feathers, lace, and a birdcage veil in her hair. If she could see herself in the mirror, she knew that she would look the perfect part of a Victorian-era vampire.

Before even a few moments had passed, she was well on her way to the men’s quarters to meet up with David and Mikael.
bumping this up to the top :]
Name: Lillith (Lily) Adams

Age: 21 years young

Appearance:
She is the one on the top of the picture

Personality: Lily is a free spirit, and chooses to enjoy life without all of those pesky rules getting in the way. If there is a hopping college party, you can bet that Lily is there… dancing on the tables. Like every person that looks happy on the outside, Lily has a lot of inner turmoil that she struggles with… family s**t, you know? Lily opens up to few people, only those on her inner circle. A couple of those people know about her indulgences in mind-altering substances besides alcohol. Lily supplements her party lifestyle through selling drugs, a secret operation that she is pretty good at. She may or not have been supplying the other suspects, and the victim, with drugs from time to time. As for a college major, Lily is very artistic and is hoping to get a degree in fine arts, concentrating on charcoal drawing and ceramics. As her multicolored hair and facial piercings indicate, Lily dabbles in punk fashion: all tight jeans, combat boots and bright colors, mixed with black leather. As far as sexuality goes, Lily maintains that free spirit attitude, and feels that people fall in love with other people, and that gender doesn't dictate that.

Statement:
Relationship – “We worked with each other on occasion, but we weren't really friends. She was too goody two-shoes to be my type, you know?”

Alibi – “That night, well I was partying it up with a good friend of mine, Chris Richards, you can ask her to verify.”

Motive – “Listen officer, I get pretty out of my head sometimes, but I’m a hippie… I couldn't kill a person if I wanted to.”
Sounds interesting, I might join if you drum up enough interest. :]
Beatrix had successfully forced her ancient body to sleep during the moonlight hours, but the most restful sleep came in the hours between sunrise and her alarm ringing just before 9AM. The cellphone’s alarm sound cut through peaceful silence in her room like a hot knife, stirring the vampire inside. Trixy’s eyelids snapped open, revealing blazingly bright irises, her fangs shot from her gums and her claw-like fingers ripped away the sheets – ready for a fight. Smart folks knew to never wake a vampire during the day, it never ended well. As consciousness returned to the sleepy monster, Trixy relaxed her fangs and fingers, smoothed her satin pajamas and hopped down from the bed.

Trixy continued on to her normal routine of getting ready for the day (or the night, preferably). Knowing that today was the day of her first mission, she chose her make up quite specifically. Dark black with hints of blue and purple painted her eyes in a way that was mysterious, intimidating, and sexy as hell, all at the same time. With a confident pep in her step, Trixy made her way to the lab to get her breakfast ration of packaged blood. The second bag had tasted no better than the first, but she would hopefully get used to the prison food eventually. She drank it down as quickly as possible, partially because of the bad taste, but also because the bloodlust caused her to. Sustenance was sustenance, and she had many years ahead of her to indulge in luxury, so she could deal with simplicity for now.

Beatrix sat herself down in the briefing room and was pleasantly greeted by David when he walked in. “Nice job, I can tell you practiced that line, but your accent still needs some work” she said with a half-smile “And I am well, and very excited for the mission, as I hope you are.” When Carson’s voice boomed at the front of the room, Trixy silenced and turned to face him. After the Englishman briefed them on the mission, Trixy pressed her fingers together and smiled wide in anticipation, this kind of work was right up her alley. Vampire nightclubs were very fun places, but also extremely dangerous, and Trixy had been a patron to many similar venues throughout the years. With the perfect outfit already planned for the mission later, Trixy began to get excited about the fight and her ability to show off her polished skills in deception. With that thought, she offered “I could help give the humans and David lessons in the art of deception, if you wish. It is a specialty of mine that I have nearly perfected over the years, I’d be glad to pass on whatever knowledge that I can in order to better prepare the group for this mission.”
Yes, in this lore the Seelie and Unseelie courts were the first two courts in the beginning of faerie creation, made to forever counterbalance each other, so they are the main courts in the faerie realm. The four seasonal courts are not nearly as large or ancient as the Seelie and Unseelie courts. At the beginning, light and darkness were created (Seelie and Unseelie), following that, the light and darkness were split into seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter). The Spring and Summer fae could only be accepted into the Unseelie Courts if they declared themselves solitary first - abandoning the safety and protection from their home court, as well as their ability to ever return - and then pledging their allegiance to the Unseelie court, because the Spring and Summer courts are formally aligned with the Seelie Court, as Autumn and Winter are with the Unseelie (once again, the faerie realm is all about perfect counterbalances). I would say that satyrs and sluagh would be acceptable because they are faerie creatures... but the rules I discussed would still apply to them (can't lie, allergic to iron, etc.). Also, with the kith races like satyrs and sluagh, I would ask that you make sure to put them in appropriate Courts. For example: satyrs are passionate and lustful, sounds like the Summer court to me... sluagh are secret keepers who work in the shadows, sounds like the Unseelie court to me.

Also, if this interest check drums up a lot of potential roleplayers, would you be interested in co-GMing? With your knowledge of Changeling and faerie lore, I feel like you would make a good fit and together we could try to come up with a good plot structure. That is, if this roleplay actually takes any root, because I am looking for a LOT of participation. My goal is to have, like, Game of Thrones type numbers of characters, hence why I am allowing and encouraging participants to make more than one charry each. I have high hopes for this roleplay on this site, I have GMed similar ones within this realm on other sites and they fell short for lack of participation or running out of good plot arcs, which I am hoping to avoid with the help of a co-GM or two.
Not intentionally, at least not any more than it being based off of similar faerie lore with the Seelie and Unseelie courts. I do enjoy the world of darkness reference though, and the vampire lestat. :]
Faerie Changelings are just a part of Faerie lore, so I included them for a little spice. They are a part of this story because changelings (both the human and the faerie) are outcasts. This can be a strength or a weakness, as being an outcast in real life can be. Faeries choose to steal a human child away from their human family and replace that child with a faerie if the humans have somehow found a way to negatively impact the faerie realm, it's mainly a revenge thing. Once a human enters the faerie realm and specifically partakes of faerie food and drink (as a human changeling must to survive) they can never leave. The humans are stuck there, and depending on which court they are in they can be anything from a slave, a servant, or a friend. Some faeries feel sorry for their human counterpart, some feel responsibility for them, and some simply hate them for taking away their faerie childhood in the faerie realm. I hope that helps. The faeries would be expected to fight in the war alongside the court of their birth, the humans are simply stuck their in the middle.
Here's the breakdown:

Things to know: Faeries are deathly allergic to iron, faeries never give out their full name (unless they want to be completely controlled by another faerie), faeries literally cannot tell lies (but they are very good with riddles), changelings refers to when devious faeries switch a human child with a faerie child because of some wrong the human family has done to the fae. The faerie grows up thinking it is human until it becomes a teenager, then it returns to the faerie realm. The human child is trapped in the faerie realm, never allowed to leave... even once the faerie child returns.
All characters you choose to play will be either Faerie or Faerie/Human Changeling Pair. You can have multiple characters( please do!), but just try to keep the different faerie courts balanced. I will loosely control the Court monarchs, for now at least – although I am open to letting a co-gm or two run a few.

These are the Courts:

- The Winter Court: This Court typically represents what people see as the malevolent side of the Fae. The fae of this court seemingly frown upon humans. They're more inclined to talk about their ope cruelty. This makes them look none other than evil, however one chooses to define evil. The Winter Court has free reign over winter solstice and autumn equinox months, and are strongest during that time. By and by, the fae of this court are sensible, chilled, dark, baleful, and what have you. They are the epitome of winter.

- The Autumn Court: This Court is typically seen as the equally malevolent side of Fae in comparison to Winter, but much more middling. The fae of this court are generally the ones doing the "dirty work" and "trooping". However, these fae can have much nicer sides than any of the Fae and return great favors. The Autumn Court is strongest during the ends of summer and throughout the autumn season. These fae are strong, mystique, eerie, ravishing all the same, and devious. The epitome of autumn.

- The Summer Court:This Court typically represents what people see as the benevolent side of the Fae. The fae of this this court are generally considered more polite or mannered, albeit they are still very capable of cruelty (but will be more hush-hush, or subtle about it). The Summer Court has free reign over summer solstice and spring equinox months, and are strongest during that time. Needless to say, the fae of this court are frivolous, romantic, passionate, venereal, hot-headed and what have you. They are the epitome of summer.

- The Spring Court: This Court is typically seen as the much "calmer" ones to the benevolence of the Fae compared to Summer. The fae of this court are generally polite, bright-eyed, and bushy-tailed. These fae are more apt to lure humans in with sweet honey and fae food. They also have blossoming curiosity. The Spring Court is strongest during the ends of winter and throughout the spring season, despite the Summer Court having reign. These fae are peppy, quiet, seductive, emotional, and vernal obviously. The epitome of spring.

- The Seelie Court: This "Blessed' or "Holy" Court is seen as more beneficent toward humans. This court is very meticulous about the order and logic of things. The fae of this court are known to seek out humans, to warn those who had accidentally offended them in one manner or another, and to return human kindness with favors of their own. Fae don't like to be in debt, even so, a faery belonging to this court will most definitely avenge insults and are prone to much mischief. The faeries of this court are not always ‘good’ but they will generally help out others.

- The Unseelie Court: This "Unholy" or "Unblessed" Court consists of the malicious and more evilly-inclined fairies. Unlike the Seelie Court, offense is not necessary to bring down their foes or anyone they choose to bother for that matter. As a group, or the 'host' as we Fae call it, they appear at night and assault travelers either 'physically', emotionally, and/or mentally– especially spiritually ignorant folk. Like the fairies of the Seelie Court, neither are the faeries of the Unseelie court always evil. However, when one of them are forced to choose, they will naturally prefer to harm than to help.

- The solitary: Arguably the most dangerous fae of all, for they hold allegiance to no court, not even the one which they were born to. Few of these fae are peaceful, the rest are a risk to all.

These Courts may seem at peace and in balance with one another, but the tides have shifted recently. War is among us, and the courts have taken sides. Winter and Fall have sided with the Unseelie Court and the Spring and Summer with the Seelie Court. Will chaos rein? Will peace be found? Will balance ever be restored? Who will win? Who will lose? Come what may, the story is yours to write, and remember: all is fair in love and war...
