Yes, uhm... is it too late to add something to my post? I had a good idea for throwing another character under the bus xD
Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to mess things up, I'm trying hard here... merp. Whatever day it is is fine, the posts still make sense.
OOC: This site and it's double-posting issues, I swear! I can't tell if it's just the site or my internet browser, but I always click the submit button only once and it still happens all the time. Is there any way to delete a double post and I'm too nooby to figure it out?
Marigold finished up her breakfast shift in the kitchen and hung up her apron on the hook. Carson had asked her to join as werewolf backup on today’s mission, and she was set to meet up with him in approximately 5 minutes. Mari waved a friendly goodbye to the kitchen staff that she had come to know and love in the past few weeks here at the compound.

Outside, the California breeze was warm but refreshing. The way the sunlight shimmered across the land made her hippie-heart sing, and she felt the urge to go wolf and run in the forest to enjoy nature. Maybe later, she had a mission to do now as a peacekeeping, supernatural crime-fighter.

It wasn’t long before Mari found Carson leaning against the SUV looking like a goth that lost his jacket two hours into high school prom. She couldn’t help but laugh a little bit at the absurdity of trying to fit in with vampire fashion. Mari herself wore a loose, flowery sundress, something that she could easily slip out of before erupting into wolf form and defending the other agents if necessary. “Well, I gotta admit, you certainly look like you could pass for a bloodsucker.” She said to Carson jokingly as she approached him. “Backup werewolf assistant reporting for duty, Captain!” she said and playfully saluted him.
Lily was elbows deep in charcoal dust, working on her latest art project in the studio. Her veins were buzzing with caffeinated fuel as she added strokes to the dark piece inspired by one of her favorite movies, Brandon Lee's "The Crow". An eerie silence had fallen over the studio since Maria's death a few days ago, but Lily didn't really mind the peace and quiet to work in. The vibration of her cell phone on the metal desk cause Lily to startle, thankfully she didn't mess up her drawing. Lily didn't recognized the number on the screen, but decided to answer it anyway... could be an interested customer.

A new drug deal, this was not. Nervous sweat gathered on Lily's brow when she realized she was talking to the cops, that wasn't really the best scenario for a person with her extra-curricular activities. The detectives wanted to know about her relationship with Maria and, although she was nervous about talking to the blues, she didn't want to seem guilty of murder, so she agreed to meet with them in a half hour at the Urban Grind. After hanging up the phone, Lily cleaned up and put her supplies in her assigned locker. She shut off the lights and grabbed her messenger bag before heading out to wait for the next bus downtown to the coffee shop.

During the whole bus ride, Lily tried to calm herself by listening to her iPod, but her jittering fingers and bouncing right leg betrayed her acting skills. It's not like the detectives were suspicious of her being a dealer, she hoped, she would just answer their questions about Maria as honestly as possible. Well, maybe she would admit to smoking pot and dropping acid at parties with her, not being the one who sold it to her. Could they arrest her for saying that she did it, it's not like she was currently in possession of any drugs, so she didn't think so. She hoped not. The bus came to a halt and Lily did her best to shake off the nerves as she walked into the Urban Grind and wrapped her iPod cord up and put it back in her bag.

Lily guessed that the table with two brooding men who looked about 30 years too old to be there were Detectives Nash and Westhuizen. It looked like they had been kind enough to buy a third cup of coffee for her, a nice enough gesture, given the situation. The detectives asked her a series of questions about Maria and their relationship, so Lily did her best to answer:

"Maria was an odd one, not to disrespect the dead or anything... but she kinda had two personalities, ya know? She was one of those trust fund babies who went to college because mommy and daddy paid for it, along with her nice car, and her fancy clothes. In high school I'm guessing she was the cheerleader captain that all of the jocks chased after, but couldn't touch, at least she wouldn't tell people if they did. Here at the University though, things are a little different, people show their true colors here. She is still in one of those pretentious goody two-shoes majors like journalism or communications studies, something like that. She gets good grades and all... but she knows how to party. Well, she knew how to party, I guess... That's actually the only reason I knew her. It's college, and we students like to party, everyone knows it. Maria though? That girl couldn't handle her alcohol well, she could end up mostly naked buy the end of the night - not that most people minded, she had a body that was nice to look at. We also may or may not have exchanged recreational party enhancers, if you catch my drift... so, it wouldn't really be in my benefit to have her disappear, our relationship was professionally mutual. As for the last time I saw Maria alive, it was a Saturday night party on 5th Avenue in the frat house, so that was about three nights ago. The party was a good time, and I think she left with one of the local trouble makers. He goes by many names, but I think his real one is Cooper Harley. I hope that helps."
Okay, we're just waiting on Baconater to post and head off to the meetup, I will wait until you post with Carson to post with Marigold.
Trixy turned to look at Mikael “I don’t know that I am willing to glamour you, the higher ups might not like it. We’ll talk to David about it and see what he thinks.” She said and placed the blade back down on the bed. “You seem like a well-studied human, so I assume you know what glamouring entails. Either way, you will need to act glamoured in this night club. David and I will be your vampire escorts, so other vampires will consider you to be ‘ours’. Regardless, there are greedy, bloodthirsty vampires out there who will try to get at you, and if they ask you, you should tell them your blood belongs to us alone. Most glamoured humans look a little bit like they are in a daze, and feel very positively about the vampire that has last glamoured them.” Trixy cleared her throat a little awkwardly “… and generally, if the vampire is of the humans preferred gender, there is a little bit of infatuation. Do you think you could pretend to act like that?” Trixy asked with a knowing half-smile, her tone emphasizing the word ‘pretend’ a little bit.
Character Name – Marigold Breeze (Mari or Breezey for short)
Race - Werewolf
Nationality – American mutt
Gender - Female
Age – 40 years a werewolf, turned at age 23
Appearance –
Height – 5’ 6”
Weight – 120 lb.
Clothing – Lots of tie dye, sun dresses, and boho/hippie fashion
Weapons – tooth and nail, she only fights in wolf form
Speciality - tracking and finding
Skills – She is a very good tracker, she is also an herbalist/naturalist and very knowledgeable about plants and nature, a peacekeeper, likes to cook and is willing to help out in the regiment’s kitchen, she has control of her wolf-like urges that is beyond her years
Flaws – vegetarian (the only meat she ever eats is while in wolf form), she struggles with the aggression and violence that comes along with being a werewolf because it goes against her peaceful nature, she is not a strong physical fighter in her human form but she will always stand for what she believes in. She is also a recreational drug user, peace and love, man!
Fears – killing a natural, living creature… she’s cool with taking out the undead, as they represent imbalance in the world
Personality – Marigold, as her name suggests, is a flower child. She is easy to talk to, friendly, flirty, and fun. She drinks, smokes cigarettes, and enjoys the occasional doobie, just like the average, stereotypical hippie.
Backstory - Breezey was born in 1952 and spent her teenage years and early twenties in the 1960s and 70s. Her human years were spent eating her veggies and joining peace rallies. She also was a practicing Wiccan and part of a coven near her hometown in West Virginia. When she was twenty-three, her and a group of her friends hopped in the yellow Volkswagen bus and went on a camping trip in the Appalachian Mountains. While camping, the group was violently attacked by a solitary werewolf roaming the mountains. The situation was reported in the news as a savage animal attack in which there were no survivors. Marigold was missing and presumed dead due to the bloody drag marks near the scene that didn’t lead to her body. Marigold actually had awoken a few miles away from the group after the attack, severely scratched and bitten. Survivors guilt tore her up mentally and she took off for a while, figuring it was better for people to think her dead. It wasn’t until the next full moon that Mari realized what she was. Being Wiccan, she was no stranger to the occult. Marigold lives her werewolf life struggling against the aggression and violence, but embracing the fact that she is closer to nature now. The only fights she has are those against creatures who threaten peace and the human race, a reason why the Regiment picked up this extremely well-controlled, young, lone wolf.
I edited it a little after you accepted it, I had forgotten to finish the personality part. :]
