Kieran nodded a 'yes' to the young looking girl. "Aye, she's friendlier than I am. She is called Cana, she is my animal companion until death do us part." he said in rough common. At the mentioned of her name, Cana cocked her head to the side. She trotted over to Ryuko and sniffed at her clothing, causing it to fluff up to her nose and make her sneeze. Kieran smiled only very slighty, he would take more kindly to those his wolf approved of, anyone kind to animals was acceptable to him.
I like a good antagonist in an RP to keep things fresh. :]
Kieran smiled over his shoulder "You are just as fiery as your hair, I will keep my distance... I do not wish to be burned this day." he said as simply and as smoothly as he could in Common. He kept trotting alongside his dear wolf, never breaking stride. Verbal banter was pointless to him, nature only fights with physical force. She must be keenly perceptive to have sensed his disgust in their pointless show of pride, but she had misinterpreted it. Kieran did not believe himself better than any man, but he believed that nature was better then them all. Mankind fights far too hard to conquer each other, rather than just accepting their place in the world.
Kieran watched their pathetic exchange with a certain amount of distaste. They wore their ridiculous pride like cumbersome armor. He shook his head slightly, why had he even tried? Mankind would never make good friends, they are always far to concerned with themselves for that... Cana trotted forward ahead of the group, her nose to the dirt path, sniffing at something unseen. Kieran decided to turn and follow her, disinterested in the other party members for the time being. He only wanted to move forward now.
