Lady Mo took some time to wander the cavernous halls of Bedivere's castle. She was observing a piece of art that hung from worn twine, it was very old, therefore she appreciated it. Footsteps echoed down the hall, they weren't quiet, no, they were proud and calculated. She didn't even have to look at him to know who it was. "Lord Bedivere," she began with her back still facing him, arms crossed daintily behind herself. Mohowauuck turn on her bare heal looked him over. "Where do you stand in these matters? I do hope it is beside me. If not, well, things are bound to get a little eventful within these old stone walls" Just then gunfire rang in the distance, far away, but not so far that an ancient vampire could place the sound. "Perhaps things are already getting eventful." she said with a smug grin.
The ancient lady grew tired of the petulant squabbling of the old bloods around her. She did not traverse the seas on a hideous metal bird vehicle to sit through this mess of a so-called 'council'. Gabriel's monologues were nothing short of infuriating, if he was so negative he was better off dead to her, and Bedivere was suspiciously quiet. If this flock needed a leader, she would step up as the force to organize them. In a grand gesture she pressed her hands upon the stone table before her and stood up.
"Enough!" The thunderous word was enough to silence the room and once again focus all remaining eyes on her. It was her turn for a monologue. "I know most of you don't approve of my ways, but learn you this: I stand for the prosperity of vampire-kind. I traveled all this way to offer my help in this war, but it appears that you all need more than that. You need a leader? Then follow me, set aside your pitiful racism and see this for what it is. We are immortals, we will live forever if we choose to - I don't know about you, but I want to." she took a moment to survey to room. Gabriel's images had already left.
"Gabriel is miserable with his existence, death would be a mercy to him. If you follow his ideals, if you are as negative about this as him, than you may leave now as well. We have no use for you, you are a disappointment to your kind. When I lead my children of fur and fang over the horizon, and their howls and war cries rival the sounds of thunder itself, you will know whose side you should be on. I urge you all to grow your families, expand your bloodlines and gather followings. Now is the time to train our armies."
"As immortals, we need to reclaim what is ours. The human population has grown too large in our inability to work together against them. They have grown to a point where their numbers and technologies are draining this planet, they are pushing the limits of Earth's carrying capacity. If we are to truly live forever, we must act as the high predators that we are, and defend the planet that we need in order to continue our survival. This isn't simply a war that I am calling for, it is a culling of the human race. They are mere cattle and they shall be treated as such."
"I have said my piece, and know that this battle isn't a matter of if, it is a matter of when. Be sure that you are standing on the right side when it happens. Your fate depends on it." Those were her final words before departing the meeting place herself. She had a prophesied hybrid-creating ritual to get to work on...
Name: Lady Mohowauuck (Mo), also mistaken for the goddess Gaia/Gaea
Age: Looks like a fully-matured woman, around 30.
When you were turned: unknown, all she knows of life is being a vampire.
Clothes: Often seen in traditional Mohawk garb – a poncho-like tunic called an overdress and a wraparound skirt with shorter leggings.
Hair: A dark rich brown with forest green highlights throughout it, gathered in a long, loose braid that hangs down in front of her left shoulder and breast.
Eyes: Emerald green with swirls of cerulean blue.
Weapons: none
Powers:
- Mother Earth – Mo can commune with the spirits of the flora around her. She speaks with the plants, and feels their joy and pain. It is in her nature to protect them, to fight for them against human destruction. They see her as a mother of sorts, and bend to her will. As she fights for them, they to, will fight for her. In short, Mohowauuck can commune with and control plants, including speeding up their growth and reproduction.
- Wild Shape – Lady Mo is just as attuned to fauna as she is to flora. Mo can take on the shape of any animal found in the Northeastern forests of North America, as these are the homelands she was born to. (Wolf, bear, fox, etc…) Mohowauuck is most commonly seen in the form of a giant arctic white wolf, making her one of the only vampires to gain the respect of and sometimes even the following of the werewolves.
- Colors of the Wind – Mohowauuck can channel her emotions into the forces of nature, sometimes without even realizing it. Where one’s sadness might be expressed in tears, Mo’s despair brings the clouds and rain. When Lady Mo is angered, the raging storms and blizzards can wreak havoc and destruction upon humanity.
-Spirit Speaker – It is a common Native American belief that all living things have a spirit and a name. Lady Mo can sense the spirits of those around her, both the living and the dead. And should they choose to speak to her, she will always listen and maybe even respond to their needs.
Bio/Personality: Being an ageless immortal, Mohowauuck has a cold aloofness towards others. The only humans she has taken company with were the original peoples of the US, as they were the only humans she ever encountered with a true respect for the earth and religious relationship with nature. She fought alongside the natives in what is now NY that’s modern day tribe name shares a likeness to her own chosen name. Mohowauuck is the Algonkian word for man-eaters, as the enemy tribe often called the group of people she led in battle. As a vampire, she sired a few warriors in her fight against humanity, and their pension for partaking of their enemy’s blood in battle did not go unnoticed, apparently. Lady Mohowauuck wears the name with pride, as do her chosen people, who have simplified it to the Mohawks.
Lady Mo is fierce in battle, a combination of the forces of nature, a Mohawk warrior, and a savage beast. She does see herself as a goddess of sorts, a protector of the lands. She believes that being a vampire is superior to humanity, as the vile humans need a predator to limit their existence and their potential to destroy the Earth. As a self-proclaimed Mother Earth, she needs to protect her child the only way she knows how… to take down any enemy in her path.
Béatrix: "Oh, don't fight now boys, there is more than enough of me to share." she said with a sultry wink. Although going to see Praetor didn't sound like much fun to her, she would do so to keep up appearances. Adrian's lingering look did not go unnoticed by Trixy, but she let it slide "Cigar? I'm more of a cigarette girl myself, a lady has to have style." To this day, she still smoked with a long and elegant cigarette holder when she did indulge. "Let's get this over with, shall we. I'm aching to loosen up from all of this... business."
Jareth:
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And when you look into the abyss, the abyss also looks into you.
It was like he was trapped in an eternal fog. The more he tried to travel, the more his feet seemed to get trapped in tar and the air that filled his lungs turned to pudding. In that moment it was as if Nietzsche himself directed his life story - in all his monstrosity he found himself staring into the abyss, he felt the dark judgment. A familiar voice tugged at his subconscious, trying to coax him from this sudden fugue.
Jar blinked a few times and once again found himself back in his apartment, staring at his bloody hand. Theo was there still... what had happened? How long was he out? Did he pass out? And then he finally understood Theo's words. He asked about the woman he got into his bed. But she was more than just that, wasn't she? Could he tell Theo everything? Surely he was his closest friend in this world, but still, unsure of himself, Jareth said the first words that came to his dry, aching lips. "She killed me."
The phrase was melodramatic and colored with poetic depression -- well, it wouldn't be Jareth if he didn't speak in such a way -- yet those particular words held a palpable truth.
