Seven years ago, when Suriel first arrived, their hair fell chin-length in pale yellow curls. Now they wear it cropped short on the sides, longest on top, and platinum blond in color. Bright blue-green eyes stare in stark contrast to a perfect white complexion. As far as style goes, Suriel is just as likely to be seen wearing a suit and tie as a dress, it's whatever they prefer that day, really. They are always well-dressed for any occasion, as fashion has proved to be one of the more entertaining aspects of life on Earth. Not a single ounce of makeup has ever touched the angel’s face, making their pale features seem all the more ethereal. Their voice is an even tenor and they stand at a tall 183cm with a broad - yet relatively flat - chest, and a lithe frame.

Suriel was sent here with one goal: to heal the people. They have studied and worked tirelessly to accomplish this goal and eventually earn their place back in the heavens. Suriel was more than happy to be a student and seeks to continue learning about diseases of the mind and body. The human brain is of particular interest, hence Suriel’s residency specialization in neurosurgery.

Suriel believes that understanding is the first step towards truly helping a person. That being said, they are prone to judgement and, unfortunately, they tend to judge the sinner rather than the sin itself - a personal fault. This judgemental behavior is relatively recent, and possibly a form of psychological projection.

Since beginning their residency at the hospital, Suriel has had… feelings. First it was the handsome doctor in charge of cardiology, and then the pretty ginger nurse in pediatrics. Lustful thoughts and urges seeded themselves in their mind. Suriel has yet to act on them, and sees them for what they are: sin. Yet, the temptation is always there, and Suriel was loathe to see the primary remiges or their pure white wings turning grey the last time they were in true form.

Long before Suriel came to Earth and took on an English surname, they watched the birth and growth of humanity under the Creator’s will. In the vastness of time and space that is the heavens, they also saw its death. And so was born their task: to heal the bodies and souls of the weak. The wayward children must be guided to the path of righteousness.

As my character is going to be angel, rooming with vampires and demons seems out of the question (for now, at least), but one of the fae might not be so bad! Though, I may just have them slum it alone in the projects XD
