If you actually read any of my posts, you would note that I'm quoting the GM in some cases and in others I use terms like "probably" and "considering." My word isn't meant to be taken as fact, I'm just trying to help people get the answers so they can proceed while the GM is offline. I have read this entire thread, the same questions get asked more than once (including by yourself) and I'm just repeating what he/she said. And no, the rest of your post wasn't for everyone it was for the GM.
You came in presuming things about my character and my attitude, which is as frustrating to me as what I'm doing is to you.
And I've already talked with the GM about this.
You may also want to note that when you made your first stab at me, in your first post on this thread, I didn't try and push answers on you and respected your wishes. Which makes this all the more frustrating as an encounter.I saw that guy coming a mile away, which is why I put my first post in red text. Had a similar experience on RPNation with a user in a Digimon RP. If your Digimon's line "didn't make sense" he'd be all up on you. He actually got TWO PEOPLE kicked out because he kept poking and being bossy until they snapped. The first guy he was very rude to. As in, "You need to forsake your real life and post!"Has it occurred to you that this is a very thinly veiled insult?

And stop taking everything so literal- what is a dog? "Man's best friend." A horse to a giant is a similar relationship, though more intelligent in many ways. God, if I knew there would be such hard understanding of giants that aren't ten stories tall, I wouldn't have bothered. The relationship of dog and man was created by certain needs of both parties, security for us and steady food for them. Horses are not predators, outside of the context of labor and transportation there is little that could foster a relationship of the sort that exists between men and dogs. We're not trying to be "skeptical criticizers" we're just taking this seriously, and considering the how and the why of things through historical and physical context.
Hello there. I just joined about an hour ago, but I've been lurking since about a day before now, and this RP has caught my attention. I even have a character idea already, but I must ask, is there any sort of limits on what species our characters can be? I like RPing as non-human characters, you understand.So far, no limit has been placed and the OP has said that they value originality. However, this is probably something that he/she handles on a case-to-case basis, so what sort of race are you looking to create? (Also, where do you normally RP?)
