Tahira's Impressions
Sessamaru: "So virtuous, he has either seen too little of the world or too much." Historia Saurvale:"It would not hurt others to be as courteous as she." Saha Thulaja Era: "She is at home in the Blue Moon, something that is unexpected for one of her kind, but she is still dangerous." Katelia:"I do not blame her for her reticence, it is clear that she has sufferred." Julio: "I know little of that one's motives, but perhaps we share a common interest in nature's remedies." Azzrix Grimmor: "Boasting does an assassin nothing, the best killers die unremarked." Margaret von Eisenberg: "I know her type too well to trust her, but perhaps I could learn something from her." Naida Marcoon: "I would be hard pressed to find a patron who doesn't like her." Drubbins: "His yearning to learn is admirable, I hope it carries him far in life." Mysaren: "She is quite...statuesque, and shows a surprising frugality which others could learn from." Rimau Ekoy-Rimau Eng-Dasku: "Regardless of what is said about him, that lizard has seen things." Claire Alexandria: "There could be more to that one than meets the eye, I wouldn't mind finding out." Viggo Malmsteen: "I know little of music." Rouen Fulgur: "If he were to rule, they would call him a tyrant." Felan the Wolf: "A man of humble origins, he reminds me of shaman I once knew."
1, that it'll depend on what WilsonTurner wants to do about his species - if they breed giant horses 2, like the articles said, there is a limit to burden, about a max of 30%, which warhorses that you gave an example and figures of still fell under, so it'll depend on how heavy he wants his char to be that the usual human horsies can't carry him. I'm glad we helped out WilTurner.
Well, the war horse I mentioned could carry about 300 kgs, 660 lbs, but we never knew how much his character weighed in the first place. I think he's switching characters, so either way it's irrelevant now.
So then we're in agreement.
I don't know, but there is no point in not being in agreement so I will concede.
I'll work on a post to follow Eklipse's.
I have been revived from the ashes and posted!
Yay ^_^
It is casual, I was just being a real tool. I jumped to conclusions about what you meant and got defensive, so I'm sorry. Please don't leave this on my accord, it was a misunderstanding that I created and doesn't reflect on Sessamaru's intentions or their RP.
Nevermind making a new character sheet, there is looking to be too many people joining this roleplay and I dislike roleplaying where there are many others that I am not familiar with.
Oh, alright. Well I'm still sorry for how I behaved.
I think I'd rather deal with Sessamaru and casual-level judgement, rather than advanced-level judgement where everything is taken as literally, denotatively as possible. When I think of a the relationship between dog and man, I don't think, "Oh well the dog wants food, water, and shelter and the man wants something to keep guard and help hunt," I think the more connotative meaning- "Man's best friend." The same relationship goes between giant and horse- giants are great big men, making a regular man look like a dwarf, and horses are more suited to their size than dogs- because most dogs would be smaller their their arms. Go look at your doorway- yes, the one in the room you're sitting in. Imagine a person tall enough to bump their chin into the bottom of the doorframe. Now imagine them only being able to enter by ducking their head and moving sideways because of muscle mass. Now, imagine them so heavy that the floors creaks painfully every time they step. When they get on the bed of your pickup, it doesn't drop slightly- it drops to nearly halfway, and the man's feet are large enough to have a big toe fit into your big cup you're drinking from. The man's biggest finger is the width of three spacebar keys, the smallest, two and a half. His scythe has a shaft that's wider than your forearm, and a blade longer than a longsword- and he wields it as you would a somewhat heavy nerf gun. Now imagine that man getting on a horse. Do you really think that horse would be wide enough to keep him on? And then, would the horse be strong enough to be able to walk with him there? Really, their footsteps would be up to two or three times farther than yours- every step you take, fast as you are, they gain because they have longer strides. Fierce and proud, not caring if their bulk gets them laughed at or feared. They'll fight amongst themselves and then they'll turn on outsiders, and drive them from their lands as a single unified force, then turn and fight once more. But since that is needing to have everything explained so thoroughly, so much like an advanced roleplay, I am going to pull it all back, and make a new character, in which I will explain everything to begin with as if it were an advanced roleplay. I find the kind of criticism- harsh, skeptical, or otherwise- that automatically assumes something and then continues on as if that were my entire meaning rather aggravating, especially having been banned from two websites because people wouldn't stop doing it to me, and I could do naught but slowly get angrier and angrier, to the point where it is my fault. So before your hackles raise and you start hissing in defense, I will remove Declan Horseman, since the concept I am trying to work with requires such complete and thorough detail, and go with something more cliche, because at least with cliche, one is more likely to understand what you're going with! I DO get this ruffled with this kind of thing. I just want to roleplay, and I think my app was pretty good. I didn't think that it would need a direct pointer saying that he is far too heavy to ride and that he may raise them as another may raise their purebreed dogs or breed certain types of dogs for different things. After all, the land of men brought great wealth from having a great stock of horses- beautiful, purebred, intelligent horses are quite looked-after by wealthier individuals, and mixed breeds could be used for different sport. In addition, armies might need lots of warhorses, and people will always need horses to pull a plow or cart. I didn't think it'd be so not-obvious that I'd need to actually say it- but there it is! Everything you need to know in a great wall of text! I thought this was to be casual, but nay. Agh! And if you are offended, this is my stress- I've been sick and my teachers at school are being stupid with their homework and crap taht I've missed. That, and personal/family issues

Please don't leave this on my accord, it was a misunderstanding that I created and doesn't reflect on Sessamaru's intentions or their RP. I'm not the GM, and Declan Horseman was perfectly fine.
Ugh, this is all my fault... :/
Don't worry, it's not. Even if La Inquisidora and myself didn't start this at some point, the issue would have likely simmered beneath the surface of our interactions.
You could at least settle it in the PMs tho.
You're right, sorry. I should have thought of that.
