@dragonmancer I like the idea tell me more when you get the abilities down. Also I think I will use the ranking system for the stand powers. However I do not know if I should allow anyone's stands to have an A rank.

@dragonmancer I love all these questions! And that is a very good question with how stands will work as some stands are overpowered while some are downright almost useless. I am leaning towards just banning some abilities and having in the application a required clear weakness.

An example of this would be lets say the stands ablity is to be a shield and protect the user automatically, however the stand can only block three threats at a time and the fourth reaches the user.

Also some banned abilities at the top of my head would be time manipulation, world ending, and unstoppable stands. If someone wishes to let's say have a stand that can wipe things out of existence it must have a very noticeable weakness(such as the target must be touched for 5 minutes before it can be wiped out).

Stands that evolve are actually very encouraged as hopefully when we progress through the story so does the character and stands however it must be noted that the stands potential to evolve is high as to avoid cheap ways out of a situation by magically evolving with its potential at D. Due to Hamon users being rare at this point (with few masters left of the art) anybody wanting to use this needs a very good explanation of how they learned the art. People wanting to use a stand with Hamon abilities should only have the basic knowledge so everything is fair.

As for the RP it might be tomorrow as I have been working on it for awhile and now stuck on how to words some things such as limits to ablitites so new players to the series are not terribly confused.

@Ixa I will be honest I had to look that one up. But yes seeing as it does not exist in the main cannon I will allow it.

@Skwint Don't worry, Hamom and Vampires will still be in this one if you aren't sure about being a stand user. Also only basic knowledge of stands will be the only thing to know.

Yes of course. However, please keep the powers of the Hamom infused stand reasonable.

As a brand new fan to the franchise, I have this question. What is the status of vampires and ripple users in this setting?

Vampires will play an important role in the story (which I should flesh out more). As for ripple I will allow it with just a few characters as it is now a rare technique to have.

Hello everyone it's been awhile since I have seen a Jojo RP so why not start one. If you don't know what JBA it is a very long lasting manga spanning decades along with generations of the main characters derived from the Jojo bloodline. However fear not this will have nothing to do witn any character from the manga. Instead this RP will focus on an entirely new set of characters. These are a few things to know if all this is new to you.

Stands:A physical manifestation of ones fighting spirit or mental strength. Stands can present themselves in a large amount of ways with different traits and abilities. They can be a humanoid figure that uses brute strength to a stack of playing cards used to hide things. Anything is on the table with making your stand. However some rules are universal. Unless your stand is attached to something physical (like let's say a sword) then no one else execpt other stand users can see it. Also unless the Stand is bounded to a object or automatic then Stands are attached to the user. In that case any damage done to the stand is reflected on the user which could result in death if enough damage is done.

Bow and Arrow: Most stand users are either born or manifest the stand later on in life but made from a metorite Bow and Arrow can force someone to gain a stand. However they must have the will or die if the wound is fatal. In this RP we will be using a fragment of the metorite made into a different form.

The basic setting is Portland,Maine 2010, where a large amount of people have been strangely getting stands. However as many of these people gain it many start disappearing. It is up to a group of these Stand Users to figure out the mystery of these strange events. So if interested please tell me and let's get this rolling.
