Surely you jest, Comrade! To create an equal solution to falsified dental problems, we must create such dental products equally. Dentistry licenses must be required by the state so all may contribute.

@cloudystar Sorry dude, feels pretty unfair.
@pkken Dang, sorta feel bad now. All the hero posts are talking about where the hostages are, so it's not like the Villians actually got to set-up hostage points for themselves. Do you think we should change that?

EDIT: oh shoot, just one clone? Though pkken said we were to capture all of the hostages. Oh well.
@Gutshotstraight for Ken I see

Nah. Chowder memes are just the right kind of spicy. Shmektheshmuck just needs better tastes.
Aki Ogawa

School was the same-old same-old for Aki until Friday suddenly reared it's head. Getting good grades, making impressions, reading through class, things that Aki had been doing his whole life. P.E was replaced with 'basic training', a more individualized and quirk-based approach to physical improvement, but other than that Komei Academy felt just like any other school.
Correction, one other thing had changed: dorms. Aki, to his surprise, was told by his parents over the phone that he would be attending the room-and-board at Komei instead of coming home per usual. All this information, of course, was layered onto him on the first day of school. His parents said that he should learn how to take care of himself, how To become independent, etc. Aki could only sigh and nod his head at his parents' notion, realizing now he would have to spend the rest of his nights at this boring academy. At least he got to share his quarters with Daichi, a montrous boy who, rather curiously, was more innocent than anyone could have suspected. Allowing the beast to keep his garden in the room as long as Aki could have his literature collection, the two had been getting off quite splendidly.

But here was Friday, a monster that seemed to dwarf even Daichi. Aki had heard about the assessment test faintly in homeroom once or twice before, but his obsession with Faust always kept him from picking up any real, helpful details. But here it was, a replica of a city made for reenacting heroic endeavors. Everyone was clad in skin-tight, latex suits lined with white and blue on Aki's team: the standard issue gym clothes of Komei Academy. Aki was actually pretty happy with his team composition, actually, all of the people he had been socializing with this week conveniently lined up in a four-man team. Yoshida explained the situation they would be facing, a hostage mission with multiple clones to secure and extract. Aki and the others were given communicators, and prepared to take on their test and mission. Wait, what were the stakes of this assessment again?

Oh, right, extra credit. Something Aki never needed.

Aki's bored expression returned to his face as he realized that, again, the threats that Komei Academy posed were not applicable to this particular intellectual. Though his other classmate may be slightly struggling, he already had all As, thus invalidating the need for a boost in marks right now. Really, they could've at least made this assessment a major grade. Nevertheless, as Yoshida finished his explanation of the trials ahead, a hearty "GO" was shouted, and the group started off running. Aki's interest became slightly renewed.

Beta training grounds consisted of a maze of stout, identical glass buildings. Averaging around four stories tall each, with every floor being about three or so moderately-sized rooms big, the arena was a nice little replica of downtown: perfect for what the students were about to be doing. Aki ran for the nearest building as the event started, knowing that having a bit of higher ground could definently help spot some of Isshen's clones. Jogging up the stairwell of one of the ground's many cookie-cutter complexes, Aki came to the shining metal-top of the construct with only slight huffing and puffing. "They can very well have a man on every clone, or even more so, so be cautious when approaching a situation guys. Call for backup if you're outnumbered or out-skilled. I'm up on a building trying to get a bird's eye view, everyone else alright?", the bookworm spoke into his communicator. Looking about, Aki started to feel as though he was wasting his precious time until, suddenly, he glanced a silhouette or two over yonder...
Up on top of a building centered in the middle of Beta, Aki could see the black outline of a person positioned near the obvious see-through border of one of Isshen's clones. It was a ways away, and not very visible, but the site was a lead nonetheless. "Large, five-story building in the middle of beta. One hostage and maybe one villain on the roof", the boy informed his group. Now came only one of the to-be hero's many problems: how to get there. Being quite a ways away, it would take Aki a good few minutes to get there by ground with his kind of stamina, and that didn't even mention climbing the numerous stairs. Luckily, what the boy lacked in physique, he gladly made up for in brains. Taking a while to think on top of Beta's metal monolith, Aki concocted a plan of travel quite quickly.
Aki took a running start before leaping off of the roof, his neon barrier crackling around him as he flew through the air and quickly made impact with the next building's top. By creating this enhanced forward motion from lunging off tall structures, Aki was already making great speeds towards his destination. The barrier, not only keeping the boy safe from bodily-damage, also made sure he didn't stumble when he made direct impact. Furthermore, by making sure his feet were the only body-part to hit the roof(s), Aki managed to diminish the damage, and energy, his barrier took to the area of his shoes' soles. It was an effective momentum system for jumping between these tightly packed buildings, indeed, even if the science behind it was a mouthful. If not stopped, Aki predicted he would crash through the windows of the 5-story building's third floor in no time.
@pkken Are the villains preparing Now, or are we assuming they have already placed themselves in training area Beta?

Aswell, do the teams have ear-pieces or communicators like in the anime?

Sorry for all the questions I'm just so excited
@pkken If you don't mind me asking, what kind of scenario are the teams battling in? Securing a bomb, rescuing a hostage, or just good ol' 4v4?

That is if the round compositions aren't already a secret, of course.
@Pudding Aww, I really liked you're character's premise. Wish you the best.

@pkken Great, I'm really excited for the competition.
