Seeing the rabbit was distracted, Ren realized it was the perfect time to strike. Creeping low to the ground, Ren slowly and carefully moved closer and closer to the rabbit, being as quiet as possible. Once the rabbit was in range, Ren lunged forward with his spear, looking to strike a killing blow.

"The best way to prepare to for an enemy, is to know them"

Cyrus' words echoed through Daniel's head as he looked up at Bloodmoon Castle. "I guess this is where it all begins" he mumbled to himself as he made his way to the castle's entrance. He could smell it before he even reached the door, vampires.... for the next..... god knows how long, Daniel would be forced to live alongside them in this Castle. Daniel grumbled in disdain as he entered the castle and slowly made his way to the registration table.

"Name and registration please?"

"Daniel Morningstar"

After checking in, Daniel then had to sit through some bullshit seminar about 'tolerance' and school rules. He didn't listen to a damn thing during the entire speech, he was scouting out what there were for vampires, but found himself stuck staring at Headmaster Nightsbane, there was something.... off... about him, he looked good, flawless in fact, too much for comfort, Daniel felt almost ungodly power emanating from him; which would be problematic in the future. After being dismissed from the assembly, Daniel headed directly for his room; he wanted as little interaction with vampires as possible.

Daniel stands at 5'11", sporting a muscular, yet athletic build; (like that of a gymnast) with a light tan skin tone. The bags under his piercing green eyes are a reflection of how little he sleeps, he has a strong jaw, broad shoulders, and short, neatly groomed dark brown hair. Daniel has multiple very noticeable scars, a bite on his left forearm, a large burn on his back, and a long gash, leading from his left hip, to his right shoulder. He also wears a golden rosary that he never takes off.

Personality

Personality: On the surface, Daniel is cold, calculated, distrustful, and downright filled with rage. However, if one does manage to earn Daniel's trust, he is a faithful and loyal friend. In the event that someone betrays this trust, that will likely be their last mistake. Due to his past, Daniel has a deep-seeded hatred for vampires, and is very touchy about the subject of family. Besides that, Daniel has a massive soft spot for children, as they remind him of the siblings he has lost. Though he may not seem like the type, Daniel also enjoys games, but tends to become overly-competitive.

History

Daniel began his life in a middle class family, living in rural Northeast America. For him, life was good, he was top of his class, did well in sports, and had three younger siblings that he loved with all his heart. Daniel was a friendly child, the kind that would help anyone, however, with all his good will, came naivety. One day, Daniel (12 at the time) was walking home from school when he came across a man that looked horribly burned, without a second thought, Daniel dragged the dying man into his house to help him. This was when everything went wrong, after bringing the man inside, Daniel noticed his burns were already healing, and in his foolishness, decided that it would be unnecessary to call 911, or his parents, he was simply helping a person in need, surely Mom and Dad wouldn't mind, besides, the man was already looking better! When the rest of his family arrived at the house, everything turned into a blur, the man got up, and began feasting on Daniels family. One by one he drained them to husks, but before he could get to Daniel, something caught fire, and everything went black. That night, all of Daniel's family died in a freak house fire, him being the only survivor, but Daniel knew the truth, a monster had taken his family from him. The next five years of his life would be spent brooding over this loss. He trained both mind and body so he could hunt his foe, and one week before enrolling at this 'school', he thought he was ready. Daniel could not have been more wrong. The vampire he had ambushed made short work of him, leaving him to bleed out from his wounds. This was nearly the end for Daniel, but that's when Daniel met HIM, the man who offered him a second chance, the power to hunt these monsters, and best of all; vengeance. This man was known a Cyrus White, a werewolf that had been hunting vampires for centuries. Like Daniel, he had watched vampires devour his family as a child, and has been exterminating them ever since. After turning Daniel, Cyrus vowed that the two of them would destroy the vampire race together, and exact their revenge.
