In other news, the first chapter of my glorious three-part history is up. I was afraid it would be dull, so I put it in story format to make it (hopefully) more pleasurable to read.

That's fair, but it also means few allies. For example: if someone attacks you there aren't many friends you can count on. Never underestimate the power in numbers.

My nation has been a Republic for a thousand years, at the least. I doubt any monarch would see my nation as a sign of change or even a threat, as we aren't actively trying to spread our system. In the mind of KalMea, our superior system only gives us an advantage over the primitive Monarchies. Why convert them and lose that?

@Cyclone Well, we are kinda imperialist. We claimed two small islands, and I mentioned that if you won out on the island dispute I would expect some form of compensation. Profiting off of imperialism is basically just as bad in the eyes of some.

Also, Mihndar, what would happen if KalMea tried to speak to the P.R.K.? I ask because KalMea is not isolationist by any means, and I assume we'll end up speaking at some point.

On a more serious note, is Tolon Bey a better name than Bey Chugo? I'm trying to finally finish up my sheet so I'm not caught with my pants down when the RP starts.

Ya, Tolon has the more cunning, subtle, crafy feel you seem to be going for. The "l" rolls well off the tongue and the two "O"s adds a curious sound it it, in my opinion.

Dangit, Cyclone, the very fact that we're allies made the P.R.K. dislike me! Being friends with Tin seems to basically makes you a whole new set of interesting enemies

That being said, I'm glad you made that list, Mihndar. It clears things up. Perhaps we should all make one, for the sake of convenience and knowing where we stand
