Funny, I usually think of names like Gabriel and Raphael.
Whenever people want unique but serious names I always think of Biblical names or (by extension) Renaissance artists.
He lives in the US (not North Texas though) but spent quite some time (6 months? a year?) in Belgium as an exchange student and supports their team.
