Quick everyone, PM Mahz with your wishlist for Guild updates and new features. The more the better. In fact, send him a PM about it every day. Make that every hour. Chop chop!

To all the homies in Florida -- stay safe out there. Now is not the time to wrangle an alligator and surf it down the flooded streets. I know, it's hard to resist the urge.

Bio

On the old version of the Guild I was the record holder for 'Most Infraction Points Without Being Permabanned'.

My primary roleplaying genres are fantasy and science fiction. Big fan of The Elder Scrolls, The Lord of the Rings, Warhammer 40,000, Mass Effect, Fallout and others.

In Dutch it's becoming more and more common to use "spicy" as an empowering adjective. Like "that song is spicy good".
The Guild has always had a relatively mature age range, though. I'd say it's a pretty even mix (in the Off Topic sections anyway).
That premise sounds really similar to a videogame I played a while ago, but I forgot the name.

Anyway, I don't have a lot of experience with NRPs, but if you're planning on doing the RP with friends, just be easygoing. Shoot them a PM if they stop showing up, be firm (but polite) in your expectations. If any one of them tries to derail the RP with ideas of their own, go with the flow a little bit, but don't let them sidetrack you completely.

Write your posts in past-tense, omniscient third person ("Mark's colony was doing well, until they were confronted with the sight of raiders appearing at the horizon. The raiders were..." etc etc). That's probably the easiest way of getting information across without breaking immersion.
So the consensus seems to be that people are drawn to the middle-ground, and either extreme of the spectrum scares them off (either by being too shitty or too demanding). Fair enough.
Oh boy, oh boy! I love me some Dark Heresy. Are you still accepting more people?
Welcome to the Guild, Mary.

You obviously like horror films; what's your favorite?

Maybe later. To be honest, I kinda forgot about you

If you forget me, I will bury you.
I'd sic @Hank on 'em. Just because.

As long as I get coke too, otherwise it's not fair.
Do you think God stays in heaven because he, too, lives in fear of what he's created?

Where's that quote from again? Wasn't it some exceedingly unlikely source?
