Quick everyone, PM Mahz with your wishlist for Guild updates and new features. The more the better. In fact, send him a PM about it every day. Make that every hour. Chop chop!

To all the homies in Florida -- stay safe out there. Now is not the time to wrangle an alligator and surf it down the flooded streets. I know, it's hard to resist the urge.

Bio

On the old version of the Guild I was the record holder for 'Most Infraction Points Without Being Permabanned'.

My primary roleplaying genres are fantasy and science fiction. Big fan of The Elder Scrolls, The Lord of the Rings, Warhammer 40,000, Mass Effect, Fallout and others.

One question I do have is that once we start, are we going to "create" other Primarchs and Legions to fill in the gaps of those that we do not have yet? Or simply focus on the 7 or 8 that we have, and have the other Legions operating in a far off sector of the galaxy or something to leave room for potential new comers?

Still curious about this.
@Hank

Im not playing the Iron Templar, i havent gotten my CS up quite yet, im close tho. just have to finish up meeting the Emperor and do some editing (and then some more editing)

but my legion is more along the lines of ruthless siege tactics using artillery, orbital bombardment and devastator marines. (and a few Knight Titans)

Oh, my bad. I'm a bit scatterbrained today.
Commendable effort, but we're talking more than a thousand threads to be cleansed. If need be we will systematically remove them manually, but I'm hoping Mahz can come up with a better solution.
As you might have noticed, the Guild is currently being targeted by an enormous spambot attack. If you see a thread promoting a website in Chinese (or whatever Asian language that is), don't click on it.

There's also no point in reporting the individual threads. There are hundreds upon hundreds of them. Mahz has been alerted to the situation, until then, hang tight. Subscribe to the threads you want to follow so you don't lose them in the mess.

EDIT: Mahz is now aware of the issue and will work on cleanup/prevention measures today.

EDIT 2: The spam has been cleared and the bot accounts are banned. If you see any rogue spam, report it here. New registrations are temporarily disabled until Mahz implements an automatic anti-bot filter.
lol, i get Titans. who needs sneaky when you have titans.

(Small Knight titans, but titans none the less.)

The tactics of the Iron Templars and the Void Stalkers compliment each other nicely, though. The Iron Templars are superb vanguard fights, forging the solid block that takes the fight to the enemy's fortified positions and operating like a cohesive army, and one could have the Void Stalkers fight at the fringes and behind enemy lines at the same time -- while the enemy is forced to dedicate all resources to stop the inexorable Iron Templar advance, the Void Stalkers are wreaking havoc from the shadows. Ser Berenger might not like it, but I bet it's extremely effective.

Why do I get the feeling, when looking over all the accepted sheets so far, that there are clearly some battle lines being drawn for an upcoming civil war (this transmission has been edited by the Inquisition for containing heresy. Please contact your local Inquisitor for questioning).

@Hank
>guerilla tactics

That's pretty much the Desert Son's schtick too. Battling against either legion would not be fun.

Very different comfort zones, though, looking at their sheet. The Desert Sons use the terrain to their advantage way out in the wilds, whereas the Void Stalkers are much better inside urban zones, tunnels and spaceships.
@Sophrus Oh, right, that. Yeah, no honor to be found in the Void Stalkers.
I edited the Void Stalkers' Favored Tactics/Battlefield role slightly to better solidify their niche; on the ground, they specialize in operating behind enemy lines and apply guerrilla/terrorist tactics to target enemy commanders and demoralize the foe.

@Sophrus Haha, yeah, many would argue that they're a cowardly bunch, but Gorseval doesn't believe in a fair fight -- just victory.
Speaking of Orks, just had a thought...If any of you would like to include your Legions and Primarch in the campaign that The Wild Blades had against them that's completely fine with me. Just shoot me a PM and we can discuss any details about it to add some cooperation/tension among our characters.

Before or after Gorseval's discovery?
Since three of the Imperium's most significant enemies don't exist yet, would it be possible to come up with some homebrewn xenos enemies of our own eventually? Elder, Orks and other humans will get boring at some point.
