Rather impressive we had a lurker that had followed the first RP and this second one in its entirety...
Team MODA rejoice! By virtue of being to damn stubborn for his own good Marcus managed to eke out a win! You may congratulate him when he is released from the infirmary in two or three weeks.Congratulations, comrade! Did you use your tank? Because if not, then it'll definitely be interesting to see how he managed to win without it.

Some cool ideas. I was thinking of Dust Chakrams a while ago. Kinda like my characters Deep Magic or Weiss' Myrtenaster, it doesn't have a secondary form. It does have a dust selection system built into it though. Just by pressing the button and flicking the wrist, the user could send a "wheel of dust" within the chakrams spinning. Another press of a button and the wheel stops and infuses the chakram with that selected type of dust. It would work perfect for CQB and you could throw it for good range potential. I never figured out how to return the chakrams after they were thrown though. I mean you could be like Captain America and just bounce it off of other items and have it return to you, but I'm sure there are other better ways to do it too.Maybe something along the lines of Dust YoYos instead of chakrams? Like, two giant bladed Yoyos with some kind of cord/rope/chain in between them. Throw them out for some acrobatic attacks and then recall them safely at your side. I'd imagine something like that would be extremely difficult to wield and require the user to be extremely skilled in acrobatic attacks and movements.
It's not that hard to design a shell that can withstand the recoil when it's fired and then crack when it hits something, High Explosive Anti Tank springs to mind. Regardless I repeat: This is still in the experimental stage for a good reason. Besides I want to save the truly bonkers designs for the third semester and onwards.True, I'm sure once the plot moves along and gets more serious everyone will be going through 'upgrades'. Have you considered a Sabot tank round?
Fluoroantimonic acid is absolutely nuts. It's so acidic that it will eat through hydrocarbons. I don't think there is any way to weaponize it without simply laying waste to everything in its path, including the user. Then, what is it contained in?
Ah, so there are certain types of acid that can melt through anything then? EDIT: I fucking love Borderlands. It is still in the laboratory stage for a reason. It also releases highly toxic clouds of gas when it does sofire that only downwind when the rest of the team is riding outside the tank, would you please? :D@Agent B52 - The convention thing was more along the lines of joking, but for acidic cloud rounds you have to be wary of 'friendly-fire'. Also, acid can't melt glass if I'm correct. There's something about it's molecular structure that makes glass extremely resistant against acid. This is the tame variant of what's in the shell: Hydrofluoric Acid vs a glass bulb. Note the part where the top half lets go and dissolves in a few seconds. What has Marcus all excited though, is way stronger (fluoroantimonic acid for those interested). Now I could of course go into depth about what makes it more unpleasant, toxic and all round dangerous but for practical purposes: SCIENCE!. Because melting faces is fun.
WHEN ISS this gonna move along? When the fights are completed and posted.
