Awesome. I'll get working on a character.
Looks neat!
Looks fun to me.
This looks cool. Would a kitsune character be allowed? If not, I'm fine with going Western fantasy.
I'm interested! I have a question, though: Does this take place in Japan?

Debating if it takes place in feudal Japan or "Totally Not Japan." But for the sake of character building, assume a Japanese aesthetic.
So, here's an idea for a roleplay that's been simmering in my head for a while. I'll see if there's interest for it.

For centuries, there has stood a Pagoda, far away from civilization. It is a fortress, a breeding ground for youkai where they play at being human. It's lord and owner is a nine-tailed fox named Anjou, a supreme being with the power to warp time and space. It is said that there is no creature in the mortal lands that can stand up to him. Some even suspect he is a god that was cast out of heaven. Whatever the truth may be, it is undeniable that many of the vicious monsters that plague the land come from this pagoda.

That is where you come in. For one reason or another, you have entered this pagoda, and you have found yourself involved in a scheme to kill Anjou once and for all. The roleplay will encompass moments of action, exploration, and downtime. You may play as a human or a youkai. Feel free to express interest or character ideas below. If people are interested, I'll develop this further.
I'd be interested if this is still going on.
String like thread? Could they do textiles, like woven or knitted things?

Theoretically, yes, if they were good enough. Though string manipulation typically involves a hard thread akin to fishing line or razor wire. There's a lot you could do with it.
I'm interested. Thinking I'll play some variation of nerd. Maybe string manipulation. I do love me some string manipulation.
Since we're doing fun-facts...
