It's pretty of hard to be efficient without being obnoxious.

Name: Daniel Shepherd
Appearance:
Profession: Cook (someone had to make the food)
History: Life was rough for Daniel. Money was tight, as were resources and it seemed no place was willing to give him a damn decent wage. He sort of bounced place to place, taking odd jobs when he could. It was only when he got to an old diner he discovered a love of cooking. He was good at it too, his coworkers agreed. He was a natural and the job paid well enough. Life was good for awhile, at least until the old place shut down. With even less jobs open now, Daniel was desperate, and in this state he found a job offer. Come to a space station to help cook? Why the hell not, the pay was good and it was better than the alternative; besides, he'd always wanted to see space, what could go wrong?

Suit: N/A

Alive

Starting position: Shopping Area
Map Note: Chapter 2, Page 1 (Page refers to which map is referenced in the Chapter. The first Page always has "Chapter #" at the top)
Visual Reference: Courtesy of Markiplier

Current characters in room:
Sergeant Taylor
Corporal Veikkaus
Daniel Shepard
Zhang Sitrung

Current situation: Surrounded by chaos. 13 Necromorphs in the room, attacking civilians. Two Security Officers protecting a Civilian Cook (Daniel Shepard) while an Engineer (Zhang Sitrung) bursts from the nearby Workshop (small rooms with Benches and/or shops will be referred to as Workshops) firing off a Rivet Gun at a Necromorph that was inside the Workshop, chasing the Engineer. The Necromorphs in the Shopping area are either killing Civilians or coming towards the Security Officers. There are 4 bodies dead on the ground, not including the dead Necromorphs, or the body torn in half.

There is no set order, but no double posting. Just post in response of the situation, environment, and player(s) above you.

"Attention. This is Director Tiedemann. A station-wide emergency is in effect. In accordance with Titan Station Civic Code. I am declaring martial law. All citizens are ordered to evacuate. Looters will be shot on sight. This is not a drill. Move immediately to the nearest evac route."
@Heartfelt Gamer I think I will be changing over to the Hazard version of the Engie RIG. Can it have a slightly larger buff against things like spitters and biologic stuff like that since its apparently used for recycling and waste treatment?

Also, will we just be all in one room for the most part or will be guiding our chars ourselves?

Radiation resistance, liquid resistance, yes. Also we will be a group that will more than likely stick together and try to find a way off Titan Station to escape. That is, if you want to stick together.

To everyone, I've uploaded the images for maps on the OP/first post of OOC. Even as Security we don't have everywhere mapped out, and unfortunately in this system we just don't have maps. That means Engineers I expect you all to do studying and see ways I wouldn't see. Like Maintenance shaft accesses, Maintenance walkways, bypasses, etc. There is one in the room that we start in, can one of you find it? Haha...

P.S. - Any doors that were locked down/shutdown etc in the gameplay of Dead Space 2, will be starting in our playthrough, meaning we pretty much can only go the routes allowed in the maps. But this means we can still backtrack, go to the start or the end, etc. If it's not broke (even if it does break right before or after Isaac uses it) we can still use it. (Note, what I just said there may not account for everything. If somewhere is impassable, I'll note in in-roleplay)
I am making the decision now.

@Sabotage If we go by a security room or Control Room, you can get your ROck Saw out of a locker. Otherwise, it's not directly on your person.
@Nallore In your designated spot if we pass you (When we make our initial decision of which way to go from our starting location, I will put you along the route. If we don't go to the room or something happens that gets our attention to you, well that's the only way we wouldn't find you. So it's a 75% chance of finding you), you can have your Plasma Saw on your person.
@Heartfelt Gamer I'm thinking of going over to the Hazard ver. if you want. Also, will the RIG's in game stats affect our characters?

Something else, I will be removing the idea of me trying to barricade myself since I no longer have a reason to do so.

It's whatever, I've no issue with it. Just personally it is less unique but eh... If you want to do that you do that. Also RIG stats it won't be just 'here free stats,' but yes. The Security suit being optimized for better stability and grip with a Pulse Rifle etc., the Forged suit I think would be able to do something to muscles or nerves, encouraging the body to 'feel better' if you get what I mean, something so it's less pain on the brain to think about, more to think about fighting, or doing engineer work, haha. But yes.

<Snipped quote by Heartfelt Gamer>

Edited my character sheet, I'm going to be a lower rank. I suppose the Rock Saw is pending for now.

Alrighty, I'll be preparing the IC soon!
Changed the suit.

Alrighty. You both are going for forged? Eh alright
Everyone is using real pictures, maybe I should get on that bandwagon.

@ClocktowerEchos Yes but... why didn't you just edit your earlier post...?
@Nallore Thanks but I've done some research on the Dead Space wikia and learned enough to know what's going on and what to give my guy.

@Heartfelt Gamer I have an app for you

Name: Zhang Sitrung
Appearance:

Profession: Engineer/Mechanic
History: Zhang knows very little of his past or his parents, the first things he remembers was being taught how to fix a flashlight by a group of Engineers. He grew up around power tools and workbenches, proving himself to be a very handy and creative kid who at the age of 10 was already trying to work on improving plasma cutters (this was met with very mixed results). As the next decade of his life rolled around, he seemed work in his field of engineering and eventually landed on the Titan Station at age 25. Work wasn’t too hard, pay was good and he had time to mess around on his own projects, life seemed to be good as he even started to try to dive into his own past about his parents.
Suit: Makeshift armor consisting of a metal chest piece, fore arm guards, tight protectors and shin guards over his normal work suit*
Weapon:711-MarkCL Rivet Gun with a flashlight duct taped to it
Other Gear: 4 Rivet clips w/ one in the gun, a wrench, a hammer and two batteries

*The reason he isn't wearing an Engineering RIG is since he was on when the infection started and locked himself in his workshop for a little bit to create his armor. If this is a bit too out-there as a concept, I'm more than happy to change it over to an incomplete Engie RIG

I would prefer not everything be from scratch, as you are a hired Engineer for the space station and not a random, as if you have access to Engineering platforms, you get access to standard gear. You can have up to 24 Rivets, and they can be purchased in any store that is next to a workbench or in a non-civilian area. You can have either the Standard Engineering SUit, Forged Engineering Suit, or the Hazard Engineering SUit. Your options could be that you jammed the lock so you couldn't get out, the armor is having a malfunction, or after locking the door you were knocked out. But the problem with this route is that you are not initially a part of the main group. Which means it is quite possible they don't go the path you are in and find you. There is no solo running, if the group doesn't find the character, the character stays there. But I can put you in a workshop or two in convenient spots.

Name: Byron Veikkaus
Appearance:

Profession: Titan Station Security Personnel.
History: Despite his usual pessimistic outlook on things, Byron really loved the station he was living on and wanted to do more for it. Growing up he typically under achieved though he had more than enough of an ability to over do so. He was just lazy, and this did not get very much positive attention from Byron's rather strict parents, in fact it was the opposite. Besides this, his upbringing was quite normal, or even too much for Byron. He got older and wanted more, wanted to do more, experience more things. Byron had always been confident, so he decided to become a security officer for the space station, but was noticed quickly by his fellow comrades and quite frowned upon for his laid back attitude. Surprisingly enough to them, Byron did was he was told, and got stuff done. Efficiently too, but this was only when he wanted to do so. Yet he only found himself at a dead end again, petty crimes and rifle wielding still did not satisfy what he was looking for. This was until recently. Byron's parents were both missing. What would someone want to do with a couple so old of age? He never expected it, and neither did anyone else. A short investigation took place only days before the oncoming storm that was about to be a necromorph outbreak.

Suit: Standard Riot Security Suit.
Weapons: Intimid8r Rifle w/ Grenade Launcher Secondary Fire, Rock Saw Energy Cutter, Standard Revolver.
Additional Gear: x1 Medium Medical Pack, x1 Power Node, Various Magazines and forms of ammunition, x2 Ration Packs, x2 Water Sacks.

That Intimid8r is in Dead Space 3, not this time around tech. Yer suits gonna have to be, and look like, the Riot security Rig. And were you gonna be a higher or lower rank than Taylor? Gonna have to get a chat going with @Nallore about the Rock Saw Cutter, since the appearance of it is long before Dead Space 1, but yeah... And no on the Revolver, next gen weaponry.

Name: Riley Griffin

Appearance:

Profession: Miner/Engineer

History: Riley was born and raised on Earth both of her parents were Unitologists, or what other people few them as "Marker Heads", or "Rock Heads" whichever people called them, both of her parents were well ranking members of the religion donating their money to the Church even as going as far as using Riley's own college fund to give to the Church of Unitology. The moment she turned eighteen Riley took the first chance and moved as far away from her parents, the only other relative was her sister who had the same opinions as she had. Riley went to college and eventually became an engineer as well as a little bit of mining and spent her early years on some Planet Cracker vessels before being assigned to Titan Station where her sister Amelia had been living for the past several years the two of them sharing the same apartment.

Suit:

Weapons: 211-V Plasma Cutter, Plasma Saw

Additional Gear: Three medium med packs, two large med packs, four plasma cutter clips.

So far nothing wrong with this, except for the suit. Need an Engineering variant.
Alright, sorry. This was a little rushed I'm so so sorry.

Hey no worries yer fine!

Civilians won't have armor or weapons, but can probably stop at a suit/rig shop at some point and get something (But for this roleplay the stores won't sell guns, guns have locations instead). And you could be a cook at one of the shops. It's a city station, not a military installation, haha.
