Kaida Baeumont

Kaida really didn't notice how tall Dulga was until she was standing next to her. She had to crane her neck, Like with Ezra, but she was definitely taller than the other boy. She smiled up at the girl as she mentioned how the pleasure was hers. She was not at all scary like she looked like before, jumping down in front of her.

Roy had taken to her explanation well, even smiling. That's good that he took her word. Usually people were skeptical when she tried to explain it's not their fault, that its hers. Especially since growing up in a rich home, even if the owners were wrong they were right. It took a while for new staff to actually believe her when she spoke. She smiled and nodded, confirming she was fine. It was sweet of him to come looking for her.

With the sudden crash she winced and pulled one of her hands up to her mouth to muffle a yelp. Dulga instantly moved between them and the sound of the noise. A true hero without even thinking. She had realized she had much to learn and to grow.

She mentioned it looked like trouble. She had an odd feeling Ezra might be involved. Just the way he was looking before hand, and from what little she knew of him He just seemed like he would get in the middle of it. Suddenly though she noticed Dulga moving towards her, taking off her cloak. She opened her eyes wide when she draped her cloak over her telling her she needs a new uniform. She blushed at the thought, were they that big of holes in her back? She stood there, the cloak completely enveloping her with ease. She could tell the cloak was well worn, and a bit older. Most people would normally throw this out and get a better version. But she did notice how she wore it, and seemed to be one with it. Perhaps it was something more special to her? She shook her head at seeing how rigid Dulga was standing,
almost as if she was standing naked to the world."N-no you don't have to do this for me. Dulga..."

She noticed her burns all over her back and arms. And how her arms looked veiny and pulsed with her heartbeat She thought it was fascinating. But she was sad at the burns this girl had, she never felt the heat of a burn, as she was immune. But she knew... she knew it caused so much pain and suffering. Memories of past servants who angered her father came to mind, as well as that final battle he had while destroying half of her home town. That's why she wore a cloak to cover it...like all of those who were burned from her father did. This girl was so sweet to cover her, despite her own uncomfortable feelings of being exposed.

she knew that Dulga felt that it was so important to cover her, she didn't know what to say. Thank you...She said so softly, tears welling up in her eyes. Not of embarrassment but of gratefulness. How was she so lucky in finding these nice people in her first few hours of school? Also the fact that this girl saw what she looked like and didn't care. It made sense after seeing her six arms, and how that could be scary as well. But she thought she was beautiful. So strong looking and tall, yet she had such a kind heart.

She nodded at the plan and looked to Roy as he took to his 'assignment' with eagerness. Perhaps he wanted in on the fighting...most boys did. She watched him run back inside before looking to Dulga again. "You really don't need to cover me..." She looked to the burns.. she knew it would be rude to bring it up, but she felt she must. "Please...don't take this the wrong way. But I don't want you to be embarrassed about your scars on my account. I don't know how it feels...but I know of many people who had burns...they hid it out of shame like they did something wrong. So if that's what you are feeling right now, I don't want you to feel that. Just because I have some holes in my shirt." She looked up at Dulga with concern in her eyes, but with a small smile on her face.

Also, you shouldn't feel ashamed... you still are a beautiful, even with burn marks. I also find your quirk amazing as well! I wish I had six arms." She said with a genuine smile.

It was this moment when she heard a girl call her name. She looked over her shoulder and saw Luelle...the girl that she fought that villain with earlier calling out to her, while rushing over to her. "Luelle? I'm sorry we got separated." She looked to Dulga and said, "She helped me with something before we got to school." Still feeling awkward in telling that she fought a villain already. "Um..." she looked back to Luelle. "We are about to go to the teachers office...I need a new uniform...it got ruined already." She said blushing. "You're welcome to come with us?" She glanced at Dulga, realizing that she might not want more people to accompany them. It was rude of her to Assume that. "If that's ok?"

Kaida Baeumont

Kaida jumped a little as the girl Dropped down from the top of the tree and landed in front of the girl with a solid thud. Oh no.. did she do something wrong and wasn’t supposed to sit here? Was there a rule about that? Her eyes widened as she reached into her cloak. She tried to back up but was already against the tree trunk.

She blinked a few times, it took her a moment to realize what was being offered to her, a rather cute handkerchief with a name. Dulga? Was that this girls name? She sniffed and a geniune but sad smile came on her lips. She must look horrible at the moment, but this girl had seen her true form and still was being nice to her. A weight that was on her shoulders seemed to drop off her back. She took it and said so softly ”Thank you.”

It was then she noticed this girl had six arms! It was clear her cloak was used to cover them...and the mask on her face, she couldn’t tell if she needed it with her quirk, or it was her style. But she could see the girl was doing something out of her comfort zone. She then asked her if she was alright, She nodded in return as she touched the corners of her eyes. She felt even more foolish now. She was here at a hero school, and she was crying over being embarrassed? She suffered much worse at the hands of Draco. But still...perhaps it was a bunch of things together. Before she could answer she heard the girl call to someone asking what happened. It took her a second to realize it was Roy she was calling.

As Dulga was hiding her arms in her cloak, Kaida quickly wiped her eyes and fanned them. She could feel the cool air coming in on her back and turned towards where Dulga was looking to hide it from Roy.

Standing up as soon as he would see her, she put a fake smile on her face to hide the fact that she was crying, like everything was ok, even though she ran out of the cafeteria with no reason. He explained the situation and she reddened, she didn’t realize he would think it was his fault for her being embarrassed.

She waved her hands back and forth in front of her, “No no...Roy it wasn’t your fault, I wasn’t mad or embarrassed because of what you did to help me. Thank you for what you did, and sorry I made it feel like it was your fault. It’s just how it turned out, along with being late, and getting knocked over as well..” She paused and looked horrified.”NON QUE C'EST TON…” She stopped mid sentence as she groaned. “NOT THAT IT WAS YOUR FAULT EITHER!” She reached up to imaginarily stop his thoughts in there tracks.

She lowered her hands and gripped her wrists looking to Dulga and added, rather softly. ”I-its just my first day of school….ever. I was taught by a private tutor my entire life. I-I guess it was the fact that happened to me in front of all the students...I don’t know how they would act.

She rung her wrists together as her cheeks remained flush. She could hear Someone yelling angrily, she thought it was Ezra, but his voice and accent was wrong. She looked through the window to see...Jett? Standing on a table definitely. At who she didn’t know.

She looked to Dulga and smiled. “Thank you for asking if I was alright...and for…” She glanced at roy then added even softer so Roy couldn’t hear. ...The handkerchief.” She took one of dulgas hands into both of hers, placing the handkerchief in her hand again discreetly. She hoped the girl wouldn’t bring up the fact she saw her change.

She cleared her throat and while still holding her hand in her own she smiled sweetly once again. “Je..My name is Kaida Baeumont. It’s a pleasure to meet you...Dulga? “ She said after a second of pause. She then squeezed her hands and glanced down at them, hoping that it would be clear that she got it from her handkerchief.

Kaida Roy

Kaida had looked at Ezra for a moment when she suddenly felt something move under the table. To her it seemed like slow motion, She began to fall forward, the table no longer supporting her weight. She let out a loud wordless shriek, not even having time to put her hands out.

Roy had just been relaxing thinking about other things when he felt something brush against his shoulder. He then realized that it was Kaida when she leaned over him to reach towards Ezra. Roys face instantly became red at how close she was, he could practically smell her, this he did not mind because she smelled great. But all good things must come to an end.

The table at which they sat at collapsed, Roy’s face instantly changed as he propped his leg up under the table to buy some time to save Kaida from falling. He quickly reached and grabbed the girl by the waist pulling her towards himself. The boy was acting on pure instinct at this moment, his leg only brought him a split second before the table started crashing down. His eyes widened as all the food and drinks flew into to the air, Roy put his left hand in front of the two making a riot shield like he did previously to prevent the food from falling onto him and Kaida. The girl was practically laying flat in the boy's lap. Roy watched as food hit his shield before sliding right onto the floor, his face still serious.

Unlike before where it was super slow motion, it suddenly sped forward to now she was hanging face down in Roy’s lap. It was nice and warm, especially since he released that energy. But reality checked in as she realized SHE WAS ON HIS LAP. Oh how embarrassing that would look on her first day. Already in a boy's lap?

She flushed bright cherry red and quickly got her feet under her and pulled away, as he was still holding onto her waist. Causing her to pull even harder as he probably didn’t realize what was happening and when she broke the grip she fell back onto her butt. She looked around, everyone was staring at them. It didn’t help she shrieked, or the Box of armor smashing to the ground. The whole cafeteria was deathly silent after all that noise.

Her face was so red now because she was so embarrassed about everything. Why her? Why on the FIRST DAY? She looked up to Roy, then to Ezra, Acion and Aurelia. Her face still flushed and looked away, getting up and ran outside, away from the judging eyes of her fellow students. She couldn’t handle it. She had to get away from all those eyes.

Once the food was finished falling on his shield he dissipated it, before realizing something, no someone in his lap. He had completely forgot that he grabbed the girl and placed her in his lap. The safest place to put her yes, the most embarrassing? Also yes, she pulled away from Roy quickly, falling onto the ground and looking up at the boy. Roy’s face grew red as well as he looked back at the girl before looking back at his hand, that was the first time he had ever held a girl like that. Her eyes panned from left to right looking at him then the other members at the table, she then got up quickly and ran away. Roy reached his hand out.

“Wait!” It was too late though, Kaida was long gone by then already outside. “Damn, I am gonna go see if she’s alright” He said feeling as if it was his fault because of the way he grabbed her, as he followed he realized all the eyes following him as he exited the lunchroom outside. He looked left and right but couldn’t find Kaida anywhere.

Kadia had ran for the nearest big tree tree, not hearing Roy call out to her. Her head was down and hands covering her face. She had managed to slip behind it before Roy had gotten out of the building. She slumped down and pulled her knees to her chest. She couldn’t help herself, Her mind filled with thoughts and her guard was let down. Slowly two thin horns came out of her head and black scales overtook her hands arms. Her wings slowly grew out of her back. She was normally able to keep her other form pretty easily but now she didn't even realized it happened. She didn’t know why she was so embarrassed. But the thought of what happened terrified her what the other students would think of her.

She took a couple of deep breaths to calm herself, only to hear music being played above her. She looked up, the whites in her eyes were red but no tears had escaped them yet. Her normal human pupil now slitted like a reptile, though still gold. Her eyes caught the all cloaked girl who was looking down at her. She realized she was seen now in her true form, quickly concentrating again and her skin morphed back into it's alabaster skin tone.

Kaida Beaumont
Luelle Haily

It was still bright and early in the city of Hosu. Despite that however, villainy never rests. Between the hustle and bustle of everyone getting to work, in the dark corners of the city villains were also getting busy. One particular alleyway had the misfortune of being a shortcut for a couple of middle schoolers. They were rich kids going to a private school, always flaunting their parent’s wealth around malls and arcades. Well someone took notice of all their big talk and decided to knock them down a peg. A tall boy in a gasmask cornered two snot-nosed kids in the alleyway. They made a lot of talk about how their quirks could defeat him, but all he had to do was take out his crowbar and the two were quick to back down.

“Little shits like you… Are what’s wrong with today’s world. You’re in desperate need of some life lessons. So listen up.”

The boy smashed his crowbar against the wall, causing the brick and mortar to crack and break. It certainly intimidated the two kids. “Money… Family… Shit like that doesn’t matter. Just power. And if you think you’re powerful, you got another thing coming. So come on… Use those quirks of yours. Let’s see if you’ve got what it takes to make it in this world!” The villain charged at the two kids as he was about to smash their heads open.

Kaida was worried...the school was this way right? Oh she was going to be late for sure. She groaned inwardly as she looked at her Gps on her phone, then looked to the schools address. Did she type it in wrong? She looked up as a tall masked boy started yelling at some other kids. Smashing his crowbar against the wall. Egging the kids on as he suddenly charged them. “Arrête ça!” She yelled in her native tongue. It was supposed to be ‘stop that’. She knew Japanese, she was a quick learner. But speaking it constantly was still something new for her.

She ran up between the three and put her arms out wide. She glared at the boy in front of her. “Pourquoi sont …” She paused. Realizing she was speaking French. “Why are you...being such an ass? What did these two do to you?” despite her soft voice, her tone was strong a defiant as someone twice her size. She didn’t want to fight this guy right now. She still had to get to school. Hopefully he would listen to reason and just leave.

“What did they do? Nothing. Nothing at all. They’ve done nothing, and deserve nothing. If they want to keep their lives, then they can fight for it!” The tall boy didn’t slow down as he swung his iron bar right at Kaida’s face. Not even a moment of hesitation; he was out for blood.

Nearby, Luelle walked, her suitcase dragging behind her. She was following a map her father provided for her of the town and was trying to find her way to the academy. Pursing her lips together she stopped and sighed. Picking up some noises down an alleyway, she ran for it, her boots making light thumps on the ground. Seeing what was happening, she gasped.

“Hey! Leave those kids alone!” Luelle said.

Kaida’s eyes narrowed dangerously when the boy tried to swing at her. She twisted her head out of the way slightly as it swung by her head, she then balled her hands into a fist and punched at him with a quick left jab at his chin and followed up with reaching forward with her right hand and grabbing his shoulder, then raising her knee she kneed him in the gut. This was when she heard another girl yell out.

Luelle approached cautiously, her hands lighting up like a candle. Her right eye was surrounded by the same color flame, a beautiful blue color. She never been in a situation like this, so she had no idea what to do about this, but she knew she couldn't just let this continue.

The tallboy staggered back from the girl. She was much stronger than she looked. Another girl showed up behind, trapping him in this alleyway. However this didn’t seem to bother him. No, instead he seemed quite glad. “Good… Good! That’s right! Fight for what you believe in! No one will give it to you!” The kid then pulled out a small lead pipe from underneath his hoodie as he raised his mask over his face. Suddenly from his mouth the entire alleyway filled with a thick, choking smog, practically blinding everyone caught inside. The girls would have only a few precious seconds before the smoke got to them, and for Kaida, she still had two middle schoolers behind her who were cowering in fear.

Luelle immediately covered her nose and mouth with her free hand in an attempt to block out the smog. She inched her way close and swung her downward at an angle sending flames towards the boy. Most would expect the flames to be hot, as the blue flame was the hottest flame, according to science, but when the flames would touch the boy, it was the exact opposite. The flames felt like the coldest water ever.

Kaida looked behind her to see the boys cowering, not looking towards her. She then looked back to see the new girl shoot flames from her hand. But she could tell...they weren’t normal flames. Blue fire would have been most welcoming to her. She could feel the heat...but not this fire. There was a lack of heat and it greatly disturbed her. But that wasn’t the point now as she held her breath and closed her eyes.

Big black menacing wings sprouted from her back, but oddly did not tear through her clothes. Not that they would notice. Snapping open for a second before flaping a few times towards the smog. It took a moment but the smog was pushed back. Enough to keep the others safe. But she dove forward with one great push of her wings and aimed a punch at the boy, after he would have been struck by the lack of heat fire.

The boy was shocked and surprised to feel cold flames. When he had spied Luelle behind him he was ready to get burned, but not chilled. Still it didn’t stop him, though it certainly slowed him down. The moment Luelle entered his smoke he charged right at her, his crowbar poised to smash her between the eyes. But it was at that same time that Kaida’s wings blew most of his smog away even as it continued to leak out from his mouth. This would give Luelle just a moment to see him come at her, and for Kaida she’d notice that he now turned towards her. What she’d also notice was that he had something else in his hand; a pipe bomb.

And with a flick of his thumb, the explosive was armed and ready to explode. “Moment’s like this is what we live for!”

Luelle gasped when she saw the boy rush at her with his crowbar and jumped to clear from his path grunting as she smacked her arm on the ground. That hurt. She looked and her bi colored eyes, which were back to their normal colors, widened when she saw a pipe bomb in his other hand. She stood in a hurry, stumbling a little bit as the bomb went from dormant to armed.

‘I need to find a way to freeze that bomb before it blows us to pieces!’ Luelle thought frantically.

Kaida was in mid swing when she noticed the pipe bomb in his hand. This man was insane! Her fist was still aimed at the man's face as she hit him squarely in the jaw. She had no way to stop herself. Her eyes flicked to the pipe bomb in horror.

Everything happened all at once. Kaida’s strike was true, hitting the man square in the mouth and breaking a few teeth. Surprisingly however, this didn’t knock him out as he returned with his own swing, slamming the crowbar towards her face. As for the pipe bomb, the moment he was struck he did loose his grip on it as it fell towards the ground near Luelle. But he didn’t care too much; all that mattered was the thrill of the fight and what it meant to get away from it alive. More foul smog leaked from his near broken teeth and was starting to fill the area. The pipe bomb began to tick even faster as the countdown was coming closer to zero.

As Kaida was closest to him, she’d get a faceful of the poisonous cloud, burning her eyes and nose with its foul stench.

Seeing the bomb get dropped near her, Luelle literally lunged for it landing hard on the ground once again, she winced. Her poor chest was going to be sore later. She grabbed it and about panicked when the countdown because to move faster, but she took a deep breath. Now was not the time for that. She needed to concentrate.

Closing her eyes and her eye lighting up again, she slowly snaked her flame to surround the little pipe bomb. There was a small bit of heat coming off is flame unlike her first one. Seeing that she would be unable to take out the bomb before it exploded, she manipulated the flames to create like a small vacuum seal from the inside, trapping the expecting explosion.

Sweat dripped from her forehead, she never done something like this and it was a bit harder to control, but if she could keep the explosion down to the minimum, everyone would be safe.

Kaida grunted as she noticed the bar coming towards her face. She manipulated her face enough to reveal her true skin. Black scales covered half of her face. The bar hit side of the face but glanced off. Poison burned her eyes and nose now. Growling in a much deeper tone, she grabbed the boy by the neck and forced her eyes open. He would now be looking down at gold eyes that were slitted just like a snake. Deep anger seemed to seep into the air as she tightened her grip on his neck a few seconds before throwing him hard into a nearby dumpster.

“The bomb!” She coughed as he throat burned.

Luelle, feeling her strength wavering a bit, decided that she couldn't hold on enough to her makeshift vacuum. She began to lower the temperature of the flame easily, the flame freezing the bomb until it was completely encased in thick, unnatural, blue ice. Throwing it away from her; Luelle panted and leaned against the brick of the building near her.

“There, the bomb...is....deactivated” she panted out her power vanishing and her eyes clenched closed as she tried to regain her strength.

The villain was tossed into the dumpster, suffering from multiple broken teeth and a shattered rib. But still alive. He tried to get up but his stamina was just running out. A solid blow to the face, his neck severely damaged, and at least one broken rib, and the evil doer was out cold. His pipebomb rendered inert thanks to Luelle’s cold flames. The smog rose to the sky without the villain controlling it, and soon the two middle schoolers called the police about what had happened. It wasn’t long before two officers arrived to the scene.

After the police arrived, they captured the villain, removing all weapons from him including four more pipe bombs. The middle schoolers were sent back to their homes while the two heroes-in-training were asked to stay behind to confirm the events of the attack. An officer who looked like a large monkey was taking notes. “First, allow me to thank you two for your efforts. While the law does not condone vigilante activities, nor for others to use quirks to harm others, in a situation like this where the lives of innocent people are on the line we thank you for the sacrifices you’re willing to take. You are not in trouble, however we will need your names for our records.”

As soon as Kaida heard more footsteps she quickly hid her scales and wings again with her shapeshifting ability. Looking once again like a normal person. She listened to the officer and sighed. She was definitely going to be late now… She nodded before saying “je m'appel…” Sighing once more. “My name is Kaida Beaumont… I really need to get to school officer. I’m going to be late for my first day…” She said softly, her hands folded in front of her.

Luelle stood and looked at the police officers. She leaned against the wall and shook her head. “My name is Luelle Haily. I agree with my friend here. We really need to get to school. I would hate to be late at a time like this.” she turned to the middle schoolers.

“Please careful. There are more people like him out there and they are extremely dangerous ok?” She said in a soft but kinda scolding voice.

The officer nodded his head. “Alright. Just a few more questions and you're free to go.” Sure enough after the two girls finished their questions they were released. The officers gave them a ride to Komei and gave both of them slips to excuse their tardiness due to villainous interference. The police officers left out what exactly Luelle and Kaida did, but the note did mention that they cooperated with police and they were thankful for their bravery. Currently, there was no one outside to meet the two girls, leaving them to their own devices once they got inside the school gates.

Kaida was quiet the entire ride from the place they fought to the school. Her vision was to the outside as she watched the people walk by. Her hands wrung themselves in her school uniform skirt. She didn’t know what to say to...Luelle? Luelle Haily, Was that what she called herself? She called her a friend? Really? She just met her! That doesn’t make sense. Words were stuck in her mouth. She tried this many times on her trip to Japan. Try to start a conversation, but it always turned into this. This awkward silence that enveloped her and made her nervous and shy.

What’s more, she was about to go to school… she never went to school. EVER. She was privately tutored, and didn’t even know how to make new friends really. She gripped Jeans...no her sword’s pommel and held it tight to her to comfort herself as she got even more nervous. What would the other kids think of her? Would she be weird? Would she say something stupid and lose their respect? Her Japanese was good...but she still would say the wrong words, or revert to French.
She knew she was accepted into the school...but if she met The Frenchman...would he look at her, realize who she was and be on guard? She never heard of any villain’s children attending a hero school.

Sighing, she started to regret her decision to come here. It was stupid. Once they figure out who she is...or what she was...nobody would want to talk to her. Nobody wanted to talk to her after they found out she was Draco Beaumont’s daughter back home.

Once there, the officer gave them some slips explaining their reason for being so late. That should help them right? But now she was standing at the front gate with Luelle. Pinching her lip and chin as she looked away for a moment before finally saying…”Um...thank you...for your help earlier.” She said softly like a mouse. She could have seen her transform, and she didn’t know what she would think about that.
