Current Posted a Game Master Guide in the Guides section. If you need help with GMing, refer to it for some handy advice. If you don't need help, then don't read it.

Bio

Hello all. I am an experienced writer who is writing my own fiction stories on the side. I can role play any genre. What I love most is being able to go-all-out when weaving tales with other writers. It just makes the story more interesting, so I can't wait to write with you. :)

Also, love the system.

Will evolving disable certain moves to be learned? If not...

/throws Fire Stone. :P

You'll learn moves for that evolved Pokemon form. Just like in the game, your Pokemon can only learn up to 4 moves so if you want more your trainer will teach you the new ones and your Pokemon will unlearn the old ones.
I have an idea for a Vulpix, if someone will have me. ^^

This is how you do the math.

HP 38+12 = 50
Attack 41+5= 46
Defense 40+6 = 46
Sp. Atk 50+6 = 56
Sp. Def 65+7 = 72
Speed 65+7 = 72

These are your stats for Vulpix, Modest.
HP 50
Attack 46
Sp. Atk 56
Sp. Def 72
Speed 72

Everything else is good to go.

Worst case scenario guys, if we don't get enough trainers, I am going to have you guys make Pokemon Trainers for your specific Pokemon. So, your Pokemon will be their first. BUT, you will be allowed to make second Pokemon characters, and the rules then would be you can't claim your own Pokemon character so another trainer has to try and catch your second Pokemon. But this would be worse case scenario. I really don't want to have to do this because I know some people prefer one character due to RP load, but as I said, this is just a worse case scenario and just one solution to a problem.

But yeah, don't worry, I intend to play a trainer, I'm just waiting...because I was expecting to be more GM than player + GM.

@Shadow DaedalusYou're green my friend. :) Good to go.

I'll still post the OOC on Saturday but until then, still accepting and desperately looking for some trainers. I won't accept anymore Pokemon unless I get some trainers.
Once everyone makes corrections to their profiles, let me know and I'll review them for finalization.
Pokemon Name: Torchic
Pokemon Nickname:

Age:15
Gender: female
Height: 4,4
Weight: 120
Hair Color: orange (for now)
Eye Color: blue

Generation: Ruby and Sapphire
Type: Fire type
Personality: Summarized.
Torchic is a spirited creature, curious for adventure it is often seen wandering away when it grows board. Be careful, if you are unable to keep up than you'll have to get used to being separated. Torchic often likes to imitate what other more experienced pokemon are seen doing and wants to evolve into Blaziken as fast as possible to avoid danger.

Use this page and look at the numbers under 252+EV and Max. Those are the numbers that you need to add to Torchic's base stats.

I'm not going to do it for you because I want everyone to get comfortable with doing it on their own because leveling will happen pretty quickly and it'll be easier for you to manage your sheets if you know how to do the math.

If you try and still are having a hard time, then let me know and I'll help you.

You don't need to add "total" points or or total period. It doesn't matter.

Torchic's level one moves are: Growl and Scratch.

To find the stat points that you need to add to Vulpix's base stats for her "Modest" nature. Use this link: azurilland.com/tools/stat-calculator#6..

The maximum category below 252+ EV are the points you need to add to her base stats.

I don't want to tell you how to do this because I want you to get comfortable with doing it on your own because she will level pretty quick lol. She won't be level 1 for long so you need to get used to doing the math. :)

If you're trying and still can't figure it out, then I'll assist you.

Vulpix's starting level 1 move is just: Ember

We're not using Pokemon Abilities in this game because they open up a whole new can of worms that I rather not even allow in this game.

Besides those small fixes, everything else is good.

Pokemon Name: Honedge
Pokemon Nickname: N/A
Age: 17
Gender: ♂
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 65kg
Hair Color: Dark Blue
Eye Color: Pale Blue
Generation: VI (6th)
Type: Steel/Ghost
Written Appearance: Wearing a brown tunic with a similar design to his Pokemon forms sheath and matching black trousers with brown boots. Has a blue sash falling from his belt, with the same design as his Pokemon form and a similar blue gem like his eye. Blue gloves covering his hands. An inanimate version of his Pokemon form is sheathed over his right shoulder, which he can draw to use cutting moves.
Visual Appearance:

Personality: Quiet and unsocialable, Honedge can come across quite sharp (no pun intended) when speaking with others, including any trainers that might capture him. He has no particular likes or dislikes and seems to react very little to the things around him. He displays a varied amount of emotions, but never to an extent beyond small facial movements like a smile or frown. He doesn't say much when he is speaking, sometimes barely more than one word answers, and is completely silent in battle.

When he warms up to someone, he is opens up a little and can even hold small conversations, but the only one he is this close with is a male Vivillon he has spent a lot of time with.

Finally got round to trimming it up. college and work are killing my rp time :(

Only thing I saw wrong was his HP should be "57" and not 37.

As for Swords Dance - add as a special note: Swords Dance increases Honedge's attack by 2 pts. He can cast Swords Dance again to stack the damage up to +6 attack (which would require him to cast it 3 times to max out). Swords Dance lasts for the duration of one battle or until Honedge faints.

No worries about the pace. Focus on what's more important.

If we don't get anymore players by Friday, then I'll set the OOC up on Saturday and hopefully that will bring this game more attention. :)

I might make a trainer instead of a Pokemon to help get some Pokemon a home and trainer.
