Siobhán

Smiling warmly Siobhán nodded at the other girl, Jackie, who seemed quite grateful. "It's always a pleasure to help others. I'm not the Sun but Summer, like my mother." She commented easily as she looked at the other girl. Having been spoken to from another direction Siobhán turned her attention to the young man who she presumed she would be rooming with since he was asking about the bedroom. Her expression softened slightly, fading somewhat to a duller version as she also dulled the brilliant glow she was exuding. "My only request is that I'm left a window bedroom since I need the outdoors. Other than that you are free to choose which room you'll be staying in." She truly hoped she wasn't being too formal with everyone but it took a while for her to truly warm up to people.

Siobhán smiled as she smoothed the gown her mother had given her, there was a welcome ball tonight. They'd all been here a week now and had settled in quite nicely it seemed to her. Her mother's creation was a work of living art, faerie magick. Silken threads of rose gold woven together with the utmost care hugged her upper body tightly while the skirt of the dress fell loosely to the ground. A slit rose high along her right leg up to her hip while the neckline of the dress was a more modest sweetheart showing some cleavage but nothing noteworthy. However, what was truly spectacular was the living vines carefully adhered to the soft fabric, its roots interlaced with the threads. It crawled across her body, flowering beautiful white and gold flowers from its lush emerald foliage. The dress was backless to allow for Siobhán to show the glimmering wings of what seemed to be gold feathers that emerged from her back and the living copper tattoos that swirled and moved across her back like waves in the ocean. Most noticeable was the shimmering copper sun that sat between her wings.

She'd allowed her faerie heritage to return to her features, sharpening them and making the smattering of freckles across her nose and cheekbones glisten like flecks of gold on her face. Her eyes smoldered a dark but brilliant emerald green like someone had placed gemstones there. Her hair flowed down her body nearly to her waist like a waterfall of liquid rose gold now. She nearly always kept her appearance dulled with a glamour. Since most of her classmates appeared human she used a glamour to fit in more readily and draw less attention to herself.

Tonight, though was all about the attention. Hopefully, she would find someone to dance with tonight. Her mother had also given her several bottles of Summer Wine and she nearly couldn't wait to indulge in the fiery liquid that smelled of Summer and made her think of home. Summer Wine was everything about summer, everything that is summer, crammed into a liquid that gave one a sort of high and that feeling you got after spending a lot of time out in the sun. It was pure joy and indulgence in a bottle.

As she touched one of the flowers that bloomed from her dress its petals curled against her fingertips, seeking the warmth of her body. She headed for the ballroom without much attention to anything else. It was decorated spectacularly, with magic of course. The ceiling was a beautiful night sky with twinkling stars and every few moments one would fly in a random direction. The full moon shown brightly casting a silver hue to everything in the room. Tables were set around with cloths and chairs while small bars of finger foods was against either wall but a wide space had been left open for people to dance and mingle. There was a DJ on the stage playing a variety of music from every culture and in nearly every language imaginable.
Siobhán

Surprise flitted across Siobhán's face as she opened the door of her apartment, a crowd was gathering quickly outside but she schooled her features and the emotion disappeared without trace. She raised an eyebrow at the young woman who had started the congregation. "It seems there are a good number of sunny people here." She commented with a soft chuckle, her voice was soft but it carried like a lone summer breeze. One of the little finches that had been sitting on the railing earlier alighted on her shoulder as she opened the door all the way. "If you wish to come in, then come in. If not perhaps we shall meet another time. I believe some of you have the desire to be elsewhere, no?" She questioned of the small crowd. She didn't even seem to notice the little brightly colored bird on her shoulder as it snuggled beneath her mane of wavy strawberry blonde hair.

It was Jackie though that caught her attention the most, a daughter of Sól no doubt. "You must be quite cold on such an overcast day. Let me see if I can help a bit." She offered with a slight smile as she looked at the other young woman. She'd met a son of Sól a few years ago and he would frequently become ill should the sun be away for too long or if he was inside for extended periods of time. After a few more moments Siobhán glowed even more brightly, gone was the soft luminesce she had displayed before. Now she was truly bright, bringing out the full force of her faerie blood. The air warmed considerably around them and was filled with the scent of the ocean, flowers, and all the smells of summer. The sun shone brilliantly from within her. She was more than just the sun she was summer itself, just as her mother was.

She had to be careful not to blind the others, several of them would be fine but some of the other demis were not so good with sunlight. "I can only help a bit but it should be enough to get you by till the sun comes out. If I were outside I could do much better work, my magick is only so strong in here."
Siobhán

Walking along the worn cobblestone path Siobhán moved easily, her freckle smattered skin glowing softly, subtly. Today was overcast and thus she was less luminous, her mother had produced many children in ancient times but she was the only recent one. Being half-faerie came with certain perks but also certain down sides. She moved as graceful as one might assume a faerie would, seeming to float across the stone beneath her grey converse clad feet. Many humans who she had met often commented on the fact that she held herself a certain way, perhaps it was due to the fact her mother was the deity that ruled over sovereignty. She was also a Queen, as such she supposed that made her a Princess though her mother never treated her as such. Her mother was quite fond of her though, always working with her on using her magick when she found time the get away from her duties. It was nothing that Siobhán was very concerned about to be honest. If she was a princess then perhaps she should stop a laundry list of long standing habits that she had acquired.

Cahal was slinking not to far away from her through the shadows, glancing sideways to be sure of her location every few moments. Her long strawberry blonde hair flowed outwardly behind her and brushed against her face from a breeze that seemed to only swirl around her. Cahal wasn't often so far away but he was uncomfortable with so many people wandering about. With a wave of her hand she sent him away, showing that she wished for him to find somewhere to wait and come back when there were less people for him to worry about. It was a push, a soft ebb and flow of emotions, reflecting his discomfort and replacing it with the longing she would feel for his company when he was gone. It was a complex way to communicate but it certainly worked well.

Before her stood a vast building that was made seemingly entirely out of colossal grey stones stacked one on top of the other. It could only ever have been done with magic. Not magick like faeries had but magic that witches had. Witches were few and far between now, they had been since the witch hysteria many many years before she was born. It had taken out a good portion of the population. She entered through the massive wooden door into the dormitory which was really more of a luxurious condo building than anything else. The human university dorms she had seen were nothing like the ones here. These were clean and bright and could be endlessly customized prior to move in.

She had been roomed with one other female and a male. The female, named Hayley was apparently a daughter of Hermes while the male was a son of Morpheus. She was unsure of how things would go with this pairing, she wasn't particularly upset with it but she wasn't excited so to speak either. She didn't know either of them and that was what sort of frightened her about it. She tended to not be very good with people she didn't know. She nervously tugged at the bottom seam of her pale turquoise tank top that she'd chosen today before she opened up the door to their apartment. It was bright and modern so to speak, all metal appliances in the kitchen with sleek black leather sofa and a glass and brushed metal coffee table. The countertops in the kitchen and on the small breakfast bar were smokey grey marble, a swirled mix of white, grey, and black with white cabinetry surrounding the darkness. It was all beautiful, more so the view from the massive glass wall that over looked the vast wilderness that surrounded the university. It was positioned on nearly 30,000 acres of land or just shy of 50 square miles, all land they were free to roam and do as they wished on. It was towards the front of the property and thus only about 2 hours from the nearest town, a town where the people who lived there ignored any strange happenings.

Siobhán hoped dearly that her companions would like her, it wouldn't be a pleasant stay if they didn't. She headed out onto the balcony through the glass doors, to lean against the railing and feel the breeze on her face. Little song birds flitted by, landing not too far away from her. They seemed to be comforted by her presence, it wasn't long before the rail of the balcony was nearly covered in various species of birds.
@LemonsIt was a quick type because I'm a slacker and you're on all the time and seemed like a good pick. If you would like I can select someone else?
Okay everyone! Roommate assignments are up!
I'm so sorry you guys, I got called in to cover an extra shift yesterday for someone who couldn't come in. I'm almost finished with the IC post and I'm getting the roommate assignments done right now. I'll be going over the new CS and if I like it that means you can move it over to the character tab. Everything should all be done in the next hour or so hopefully. I just got back from a walk with my pup so she's all tuckered out and shouldn't bother me any. I will also be appointing a co-GM or two after I get done with the CSs and room assignments.
@Lemons Yes I should have plenty of time tomorrow to get a good IC post up. I just got off, walked the dog, went to the grocery with said dog, and am just now getting into bed. If I didn't have to be awake at 530 I would totally do it now but I'm exhausted already. It will mostly be along the lines of meeting roommates which I will assign tomorrow as well.
@medalliahYou're good to go.
@Lemons
They DID have two character sheets but both their characters were under 19 so when I mentioned it they just deleted them rather than changing the age I guess. That or because I listed the RP as 18+ just so we could say whatever and do about anything and not have any younger eyeballs who were unprepared viewing our indiscretions lol
@Lemons You're good to go.

@Apoalo All I see is that your second character is a bit young. If you could just age him up a bit then you will be good to go as well.
