Bio

I live somewhere in the wilds of East London with a couple of friends, a pet rat and a collection of RPG books that is slowly consuming our house. I've suggested possibly getting rid of some of them, but it's pretty much got to the point where the books are the only thing keeping the building upright and if I move any of them the whole thing could come crashing down.

In terms of games - well, I'll consider anything, except that. As can probably be gathered from my posts, I find myself generally playing characters that let me bit a little bit light-hearted. I am reasonably certain that I can play serious characters, but I know that getting to post things which makes me chuckle as I write them keeps me far more engaged. I like fandom-y things (because I can't, apparently, still get enough Undertale, Adventure Time and various Nintendo stuff, good job brain), and non-fandom-y things, and will one day get around to rebooting a RP I'd made on here seven years ago.

No worries @MarsAdept on the time front; I had some free time to spend today, and had the urge to try and wrangle this idea about Myr trying to make a planeswalker into something approaching a workable character. I wasn't really in a hurry for approval, but I appreciate that you've got back to me quickly. In the game I'm running, I consider it a small victory if I can get back to somebody within a day, so your turnaround time puts me to shame.

On the Eldrazi Magic front, I think that can be something that can be discussed later on - if the general tone set by what everyone is off doing gets to the point where it might be thematically appropriate to the story, I might bring it up in a "hey, could we look at this as an option?". I fear that something will have gone horribly wrong, or hilariously right, if we get to the point where the players are having to deal with pretty much anything Eldrazi related.

I'll throw my character over to the characters tab, then get back to poking cakes with sticks. And maybe put together a little Myr deck. I'm all inspired today.
@Hylozoist
That got dark real quick D:

But there's all the candy you could ever need, so, hey! It's fine!
Well, to borrow a quote from Grace Hopper - "If it's a good idea, go ahead and do it. It is much easier to apologize than it is to get permission."

Clearly, I've had a bit too much time on my hands this morning, so I ended up writing all this up anyhow while waiting for things to come out the oven. If it's not okay, then I'll go back to the drawing board again.

Put up a post. Please inform me if anything is wrong with it.

Looks fine from here! I did have to go and check how big a half dollar coin is, and fight the urge to get sucked into Wikipedia (no, I will not click on that link, I'm just here to find out the size of this coin... no, Wikipedia, stop, stop!).
"Once. For a while," Charlotte smiled weakly up towards Ally, the Witch still looking glum in spite of the wondrous nature of making a huge pile of sugary stuff and the joy that such a thing ought to bring. Being called magical, well, it was correct, but it conjured up all sorts of rather unpleasant thoughts along with it. She could feel something deep inside of her growing just that little bit darker. Charlotte slumped down, sitting now on the pile of food. That nagging thought that something wasn't right kept gnawing away.

"Help yourself, please, Ally," she sounded a little distracted as she made the offer to share, but then suddenly looked straight back up to Ally from atop her pile of food, "Ally. That's a good name, for someone who works with others, right? You should have some sweets. There's probably something good in here."

Charlotte fished out a candied cherry from the pile from underneath her and crammed it into her mouth. It seemed to give her no satisfaction whatsoever, though after a second or two of chewing on it, Charlotte put on a little smile. Sharing is caring, after all. and nobody was going to eat shared sugary things that didn't make you smile. It was quite clearly a forced, rather desperate sort of smile, but hopefully it'd be enough to convince Ally to take some of the candies, or the cake, or the pastries, or any of it. Sharing is caring, after all, and perhaps one good deed, even done with a little bit of prompting from Driver would go some way to fixing this problem. There was no way to stop this descent, Charlotte knew, but perhaps she could slow her fall for just a little while longer.
Hello again, @MarsAdept, I've spent a bit of time thinking about things (and looking through some of my rather goofy EDH decks...) over the weekend, and was wondering - would colourless be a valid Primary colour? I ask because you mention that any race is acceptable, providing it's sentient and made of matter, and I've been staring at my old Myr deck while eating breakfast, and… well, you see where this is going, right?

I just want to make sure that this is an acceptable idea before I start writing stuff down for it. I'm happy to go back to the drawing board if this isn't going to fit in with what you've got planned, as the drawing board is cluttered with all kinds of stuff to pick from!
I'll have a post up tomorrow some time. Just got done with having a nasty flu bug so have to play slight catch up on the new posts.

Don't forget to drink eat drink have plenty of soup to aid in your recovery!
Sharing is caring! <.<

And so the Great Candy Debate was settled, for now. Peace, prosperity and dangerously high blood-sugar levels would be known throughout the Guild.
I personally didn't have a good weekend. I wanted to go to the beach but it had to be raining the whole two days. Hot as balls during the week, rainy during the weekend. Way to go planet earth. Maybe switch it the other way around next time? Just a thought.

I had to re-read that, because it took me a moment to remember that "January" doesn't mean "Godforsaken Chilliness: The Month" everywhere else in the world. Hopefully the weather will be kinder to you next weekend, or you can find a chance to slip off on a weekday when it is sunny to enjoy yourself!

Also - post is up! With a few hours to spare too! I'm actually ahead of schedule for today. I can do anything! Anything!
