-Walks in to the loud conclave wide-eyed with a dumb grin- "Oh, we're socializing I see!" -Takes a seat on thin air and crosses legs-

@Raijinslayer
"If we're pokemon, does that make me Fairy type?" (she's probably been catching up on popular video games like this)

Also, I'm pretty sure Riley's entire role in the school is to give people confusing boners/ladyboners.
@Grey
Googs it.
I'm pretty sure Riley's height is too variable to be measured o~o
@Tengri
"And what happens when you inevitably fail to save someone and you don't have someone close to you that can provide you the emotional stability you need in order to not suffer from a complete mental breakdown? Thus becoming unable to save anyone further."

@Raijinslayer
"I thought I saw you fly once before? Do demons break gravity too??"

What if by magic Riley is the meme machine?

I ninja you all the time though o~o

Just makes me speshul ^~^

Also: We can't be a group of teenagers in 201X if none of us are memelords. So who's going to be the meme-shoveler of the group?
@Grey
Agreed. Also, because I'm too lazy I'd like to ask you which two had school clothes as civvies o~o

@Tengri@Raijinslayer
"My planet is inhabited by a people logical and advanced enough to achieve commercial intergalactic space travel and even we have courtship, Robert. And I think that Ian would make a wonderful wing-man for you!"

"Half-demons have wings right?"
@Joshie
Okay, let's start simple: Shannon. I take it that young Shannon has yet to introduce you to her parents, hence why she hides you in the shed all the time. That being said, she obviously cares for you.
She hasn't introduced Riley to the parents, no. In her mind it's obvious that Riley is an alien and any introductions would get them found out. Riley's only in school because Shannon can't really stop her.

...something tells me she doesn't have a lot of friends.
I mean... She does on the internet ^///^

But yeah, tell me about Shannon. How did the two of you meet?
They met at night in Lakeside Park (think Central Park, NYC, just probably a bigger lake) when Shannon snuck out of the house with a makeshift contraption of hers. The contraption was set up on the shore of the lake and pointed at the sky in an attempt to contact civilizations from other planets. Riley was hiding in the lake at the time and noticed the device, at which point she surfaced by Shannon and gave her a few pointers on how to improve her design.

What sort of interactions do the two of you engage in? Do you even 'like' the kid?
Riley is fascinated with her as she's strange, eccentric and a misguided genius. The fact that she's also quite kind to Riley and genuinely excited to have someone around makes it easier to get along with her as well. And generally their interactions are like friendly studies of each other and questionaires about each other's planetary culture. And occasionally if Shannon comes back with an emotional issue that she can't talk about, Riley might be able to get it out of her system and try to comfort her.

You sleep at the bottom of the lake sometimes? What lake would that be? Halcyon is a big city, after all.
Same as mentioned above.

Also, I see you are a part of the power struggle of high school politics it seems. Are you even aware of what is going on around you? Is it the same as your own school, I mean with the cliques and what not?
I like to think that any social structure has elements of exclusion and factionalism, so to me it would be unlikely that Riley's school didn't have cliques. Riley is still getting a hang of the subtleties of it all, but she is aware of the bigger picture. She can understand sarcasm, though.

And who, exactly, has been trying to recruit you to be with them? What have they done to persuade you to hangout?
I'd imagine that if Ian caught a whiff of Riley's pheromones then he'd have flirted his way into getting her into the team. After he learned why she smelled so good, at least :P If that wasn't the case, then I'd go with Hana since she's the most "human" option out of all of them.
@Joshie
Hey hi yeah I'm here ^///^
Just kinda in a bunch of writer's block and anxiety attacks which is fine. I'll respond to your questions soon I just won't be able to do it in first person like everyone else ._.
What do you like best about the school?
The attention.
What is it called?
Seems like it should be a joint decision if we're all in the same school.
How are you getting along with others?
Everyone knows that she's weird and everyone is quite confused on what to call her. But despite that (with a lot of help from the pheromone power), she is quickly gaining popularity in the school as the favorite foreign exchange student. This probably also makes her a potential target from anyone else that would like to keep their spot at the top. For the extra teenaged drama, of course.
Where do you go at the close of school?
Riley often tries to leverage her loose friendships with people at school to sleep anywhere but 'home', home in this case being the shed of Shannon's back yard. On days where she can't squat somewhere else and gets sick of the shed, she'll likely spend the night at the bottom of a local lake.

Sorry that some parts are missing, I still haven't decided what kind of persona I'd like to invoke with this character so some flavor choices like hero name or explaining why she cares will be hard to do right now.
@Joshie
She'll be named Riley while on Earth and I'll use 'shes' and 'hers' for simplicity's sake. She's currently her planet's equivalent to a school student.

Her species is native to a rogue planet in the Andromeda Galaxy, hurtling into space without a sun. The species is aquatic and managed to survive under the insulation of the planet's thick crust of ice and thrive near hotspots provided from the planet's core. Eventually their technology became advanced enough that not only could they safely fare space all the way to Earth, but they managed to control and stabilize their planet's movement to force it into a stable orbit with a cold star that burns at -200 degrees fahrenheit.

Riley was on an intergalactic class field trip to several inhabited planets. Since her species can shapeshift, they were to pose as each planets inhabitants for a time. Riley decided that humans were peculiar and fun, so she snuck off and stayed here.

School would've been the most familiar thing for her as she was also in her planet's academic system at the time she got here.

Her human contact would be a sheltered 8-year-old named Shannon obsessed with 80's and 90's culture who'll treat this like ET, Iron Giant and other such movies.
