Overthrow the Magical Girls Interest Check

So basically due to magical girl overpopulation they've kind of taken over everything and as they are magical in nature conventional weapons are useless so that's out of the picture. Most of the magical girls started out alright, ready to fight evil and protect the earth from various threats but some got power and control hungry and so have shaped the world toward their will in order to 'protect' humanity. The magical girls will have some kind of agency that directs them, telling both magical girls and even the citizens what to do. A lot of villains in the past have used negative feelings and other negative energy to do their work and so the magical girl society has set in rather strict rules in society to keep evil power from collecting.

Magical Girls generally come in two types, those who are abusing their powers and position as protectors and those who truly believe in what they are doing. There are many different types of magical girls, with a wide variety of powers, skills, and fighting abilities. Generally the girls who have been magical girls the longest tend to be the most powerful while the 'younger' ones gave a ways to go but should not be underestimated.

Frankly what I'm trying to figure out is what kind of setting to put this in. A school setting could work but that could also be quite limiting. Could be an active, full time resistance but I would prefer some undercover action. Then there's the possibility of being 'normal' people with jobs or school who decide enough is enough and get some power of their own to strike back. Not really sure.

"They'll trust us to a point I suspect though unfortunately our earlier display against the saiyan will make them wary of us. Thankfully they will at least cooperate if only to stop the incoming invasion, though it is still annoying that they seem to side with the aggressor more than us, I suppose that is the difference between a world at peace with those decimated by war." Glacier rambled a little bit and soon the two were back inside the laboratory were a good many of those they had met earlier, along with some new faces, had gathered. From the looks of many of their faces, especially Wolf with his barbaric mindset, there was obviously one thing on their minds.

"Getting ready for training are are we? Indeed that is the best course of action for now. Once we are informed of the training facilities we can then choose the training best suited to our battle styles. It will be interesting to see if any of you can keep up."

So I got this stupid idea after thinking about some of the Precure Allstar movies where all the precure gather up together and I was thinking 'dang that is a lot of magical girls'. So what I was thinking was what if the magical girls got so numerous and powerful that they started their best to ever prevent evil and disasters from happening in the first place. In order to have eternal peace the magical girls have created a kind of regime devoted to protecting the peace and order of society and have essentially taken over. Frankly, most of the population backs them since after all, they are being protected, no great evils have shown up recently, and their protectors are cute girls, what could be better? Still there are those who feel oppressed by their bubbly and often fashion crazy protectors.

The world feels too cute and nice, many dangerous activities are now prohibited completely, and there are quite a few rules such as curfew that has been implemented into the system. For various reasons a variety of individuals have banded together or work alone in order to thwart the magical girl system, of course to do this magic will be needed to combat magic and these rebels have to be careful about being discovered or they could be purified. With various goals in mind from freedom to simply protesting about cute critters and colors, these rebels will go to great lengths in order to topple the magical girl 'empire' and hopefully 'normalize' the world.

I'm still thinking about the specifics but if done right I think this has some potential. Just tell me you think and so on.

"As we have no information about this world's magic users I feel that at this moment it would be best to devote our time to training. As you have said it is highly possible for me to break the spell on my own through exertion. For now we shall return to the laboratory and do all we can, ignoring the saiyan for the time being as we have more important things to prepare for." Glacier explained her plan to R'yak and the two headed back to the laboratory. "Like it or not our fates are tied to this planet now and I'll make sure that everything proceeds in our favor. Let us do what we can."

Well when you've been indoctrinated from birth against a race and you have been at war with said race, pretty easy to fall into the hate the entire race route, often ignoring the exceptions.

R'yak couldn't believe what had just happened, a moment ago the Dark Saiyan was weak and then he was at full strength, it must have been that bean that the girl gave him earlier, and cursed as he should have expected something like to happen. and now the saiyan had sent him fly high into the air and the force of it dazed him for several moments as he fell back to earth. even if he hadn't been caught by Glacier, he would have survived the crash but it would have been severely painfully. the blow had broken several ribs and for now it hurt to breath let alone talk, but he used some of his energy to help the process of healing. after hearing the Ice-Jinn's words, despite the pain he asked "so you're saying that we shouldn't retaliate and fight him for what he just did to us?"right now he really wanted to pay the Saiyan back, but he did understand the reasoning behind her words and in his state it would be unwise now that he was injured, but he still was furious at what had just happened.when he saw Wolf take the two aliens forcefully out of the laboratory and return without them, he only suspected that he had done something horrible to them, "What did you do to them? and tell us why we should allow to train at all after what just happened?"

"At the moment that is exactly what I am saying, while I could kill him, there are some complications. As an ally in the war no doubt you are aware of my race's unique biology, how we are constantly putting ourselves in less powerful states in order to control our power? I figure I can trust you with this secret if only because of the hatred we share. On my run from the onslaught after fighting nearly to the death in battle where I killed many of their warriors, I found myself hiding on one of the Planet Trade Federation's conquered worlds. Apparently they still had a grudge and were masters of powerful magic and as such one of their surviving shaman cursed me, forcing me to stay in this reduced state. My primary goal at the moment is to restore my original power so avoiding extreme...complications is necessary right now." Glacier was unsure how R'yak would take the news, though there was a slight possibility his technologically advanced species might have a method to remove the curse, doubtful but anything that increased her chances of removing the additional limiter without repercussions was certainly an action to take.

"That monkey is certainly annoying but for now we had best not fight him, of course we'll keep a close eye on the saiyan and end him if necessary. It is painful to admit but it does not look like we have the resources to interrogate him at the moment." Glacier sighed and rubbed her chest a little, most of the pain had already gone by this point but the proverbial boot print was still there. "For now we had best prepare."

"The saiyan race is full of savages." Glacier complained as she picked herself off the ground after being kicked quite a ways from the base, thankfully she had been able to control her flight in order to avoid any civilian casualties. Needless to say she had been taken aback by Wolf's ferocity and had been unprepared for the instant healing the senzu bean had given him. She had not really bothered with the bean, thinking it was a mere joke but that assumption had proved to bite her in the neck, so to speak. She had been keeping her power in check the entire time and so when Wolf had rushed her full strength she had been ill prepared to defend herself. It had been slightly humiliating to get taken off guard and it had hurt to have her chest stomped on but overall there was nothing to be worried about, "If that last display of violence did not give the humans pause then I don't know what will. Just in case I better check on R'yak since he will be an important ally in the times to come."

Glacier dusted her chest off, ignoring the stares off a few of earth's rather wide-eyed citizens and rocketed into the air. The dark saiyan had thrown R'yak rather high so thankfully he had a lot more air time than her, as such it was a simple matter to catch him before he came crashing down to earth again. Soon she had R'yak safe on the ground though it was an unnecessary gesture considering R'yak had a gravity device for flight, "it would seem we have underestimated the power of a simple bean. Well no matter, I can kill him if he proves dangerous, besides it would seem that torture has little effect on the brute plus the natives of this planet seem to hate violence with the intent of pain and information extraction; like it or not we do need this planet's help if we are to survive and exact our revenge."

Personality: Since the destruction of her people Glacier has really transformed personality wise into a person very much like her namesake. As strong and hard as ice, her personality is really a defense mechanism to deal with the fact that she is now alone in the universe and has had to rely on herself for so long. Since she has never stayed in one place for too long, for fear of being discovered, she has not had a long-lasting relationship since the Planet Trade Organization’s destruction. There is a soft spot somewhere deep inside but good luck chipping away at her frozen heart, a tragedy like she has gone through leaves deep scars.

History: A distant cousin of the now deceased Cold Family, Glacier grew up during a time when the Planet Trade Organization had lost its ruling family and had split into warring factions trying to take total control of the once great empire. With the loss of royalty a huge power vacuum occurred in the Planet Trade Organization as subordinates quickly tried to become the new ruler of the Organization. Glacier was raised by a specific faction that was trying to reinstate the Cold Dynasty but one under their control and therefore tried to mold her into their leader and puppet. Glacier however was not as war driven as her relatives and therefore tried to stay out of the civil war as much as possible, letting other relatives battle it out for the throne. She also proved to be quite adapt at realizing the organization’s goals and therefore managed to hold onto her own ideals.

Soon it became apparent that Empress Ica was the true ruler of the organization and she quickly took control. Glacier took on the role of a high-ranking officer in the empire and worked hard to rebuild it after the devastation of war; however this reconstruction of their empire was short lived. Hurt by internal strife the Planet Trade Organization was too weak to defeat the invasion by the Dark Saiyan’s armies. Glacier fought hard but when she realized all was lost, decided to abandon the organization and the Empress to go into hiding, she barely escaped with her life and with her survival managed to avoid the complete genocide of her race.

During her travels Glacier has made sure to keep a low profile to avoid detection by the Dark Saiyan empire and has trained and studied so that one day she could have her revenge on the Saiyans. For years she has not dared to change out of her least powerful form less she accidently reveal herself to the dark ones; unfortunately a rare side effect has occurred that is most troubling, she is currently unable to unlock her true power and at the is moment stuck in her 1st transformation. Troubled by this turn of events she has searched fruitlessly for a ‘cure’ but has been unable to find one, as there is a high probably that the 'disease' is not natural and is in fact a curse put on her during a stay on one of the planet's that had been subjugated by her race. There is one dim light of hope, the legendary Super Saiyan Goku was raised and trained on Earth, a rather backward planet but if he was able to reach such power on that planet perhaps she could find a way to unlock her own power and even expand upon her normal power.

With this mission in mind, Glacier has decided to make her way to Earth in hopes of regaining her power so she can strike back at the Dark Saiyans. Like it or not, there may also be need to find allies in order to exact her revenge, the Z fighters may be gone but perhaps there are still powerful beings on the planet. Of course finding people that might actually help her could prove difficult, considering the possibility that Freiza might be the monster in bedtime stories for many races and he was kind of the symbol for her race.

Ha ha, I just found it amusing this small bit of text in the IC. "Orin still kept his staff firmly gripped in his hands in case the situation turned violent." Since I guess broken noses, shots of ki, knives and sharp gauntlets are not violent enough XD.

Glacier glanced over at R'yak, glad inside to see him eager to join in though she did not show it as she was too busy putting pressure on the saiyan's skull. R'yak was ready to skin Wolf's pelt off, so to speak so she had to admit the saiyan had guts to glare back and keep calm. Glacier could not help but smile when Wolf turned to violence in attempting to attack her back, this was exactly what she had wanted. A sharpened beam shot out at her but frankly it was so weak that she did not even have to block it, though just to make a show she swatted the beam out of the air with her tail, as if she was smacking a fly, right down in front of Alice's feet. As there was no point in crushing his head any longer Glacier removed her hand.

"You certainly have bravado but as I already knew that you really are quite dense. Even Yu here should be able to tell what you're really like." Glacier turned to look at a stern looking Alice, "and yes, I was provoking him into attacking so you would not be naive in your dealings with him. Do you really think a dark saiyan, sent by the empire would help in fight against that same invasion? Get your head on straight, your planet was lucky when Kakarot, or as you earthlings called him, Goku, by some trick of fate ended up being raised here to protect you all. Saiyan society raises their young from birth to be fighting machines, designed to eliminate the populations of entire planets, while admittedly I do not know if it is still the same in the Dark Saiyan empire their barbaric nature remains the same. Think about that before you try anything, rash."

Glacier glared back for a moment then stepped back so she did not kill Wolf just because. She doubted they would ever get the trash on their side but there was still the possibility he knew more and therefore still had his uses. "Well I suppose it is not up to an outsider like me whether you want to risk the entire annihilation of your species or not, still I had hate to see your potentially to stop this menace end without even beginning."
