Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

Well even if they aren't considered an abomination, mostly because they probably feel they can be controlled and reasoned with[the sentient ones anyway], I imagine most people are 'highly' wary about such undead. In any event, having an undead in court that is not like a royal bodyguard or something, will certainly rub a lot of nobles the wrong way. Its one thing to have an undead being used for a specific purpose [and usually mindless] but when they're kinda allowed to their own devices, people are gonna wonder and get paranoid, even if she is the most 'senior' knight in the whole order.

Well its just one 'weapon' the change faction will no doubt use to their advantage when the time comes. In political warfare its often a lot of little things piled up that build the argument one way or another.
Hey, probably something like 3/4 of the people there already knew! :P

Skip screening by being one of the first.

Well its not the Iron Rose Knights that really care one way or the other, its all those nobles back home who will have a hay day with concrete proof of her undeadness. Considering this is a highly religious kingdom, religious people and undead tend to not be on good terms with each other so things will obviously get more dicey.

Immortal people = cool, Undead people = scary
Despite being a schemer, I'm sure Julianna feels sorry for Fanilly deep down inside, having to deal with so many strange 'knights'. I feel like the Iron Rose Knights don't have the best screening system for knighthood. XD
Julianna laughed under her breathe as Tyaethe made her astonishing demonstration of just what kind of creature she was. Shoving a spear through one's own body was quite the convincing image of the undead nature of the 'immortal' knight. She was not 'immortal' just a remnant of what she once was no longer bound by the same rules of death the living were.

There had been many rumors over the years and certainly she had considered the idea of her being undead but due to her usually cautious nature about always being fully armored her family informants could never quite say for certain how the woman had lived for so long. Now the truth had been revealed plain as day to her and many of the Iron Rose Knights, as soon as this mission was over she would make her report back home. If possible it would serve as critical evidence if she could send in that spear as proof of Tyaethe's nature. No doubt her family would believe her without it but, some of the other on the fence nobles would want undeniable proof, which this spear could now give if examined by the Clergy.

Now that this had been revealed to the knights Julianna made sure to keep a close watch on everyone's reactions to having an undead in their order. While she thought all this she also found herself comforted by the fact that one of them was actually using sound tactics, the low-born Tarrya who had quickly organized some troops under her command for recon and mop up operations.

Fanilly was obvious quite upset about what had transpired on the battlefield and while she managed some good repremands she was still mostly just flailing about. Things needed to be changed soon.

"We should quickly reorganize and move with haste as we don't know how often these ambushers were expected to report back to the main camp. Enough time has been wasted her, captain if you would be so kind as to give the orders..."
Alright, changed that last post a little.
I wrote my piece but then I got to thinking about the company. So in our strange little band who is on this mission, just the Iron Rose Knights or do we have some support personel with us like squires and such? Cause if we do Julianna could entrust the almost dead guy to them instead of leaving him snug but alone.
The fight was disorganized, without order, and somewhat brutal to behold. Julianna watched sourly while thinking to herself if they had strong leadership the operation would have gone a lot more smoothly. Still, she had a job to do now and that was to keep the man safe; thankfully that was not too difficult to do as within only a few minutes the remaining bandits were either fleeing, dead, or dying, like the poor sod stuck on the immortal's sword. It was cruel and effective, but not really a sanctioned method of interrogation by the order, so Julianna made sure to keep this incident in mind for use against her later to lower her credibility when the inevitable day came for the Silvern family to make its move.

"How quickly the order has degraded, and while not entirely Fanilly's fault her presence certainly isn't helping situations." Julianna thought to herself as she made sure the man was alright. As soon as she was certain no more arrows would be coming their way she started applying first aid to the man. First she cleaned the wounds as best she could with some alcohol that she kept on hand for medical purposes, then applied make-shift bandages with what materials she could find as she tried to carry as little as possible aside from what she needed on her. The man's wounds were not superficial however and without real medical treatment he was sure to bleed to death.

The man couldn't really speak anymore but she could see the sorrow in his eyes at having lead them into a trap in the first place. He attempted to talk but only managed to cough, causing Julianna to hush him. "Shhh, just stay still and don't do anything, save your strength." She clutched his aged hand which had almost no grip left. "Don't worry, the Goddess Mayon is watching over us and won't allow the Iron Rose Knights to lose." With her other hand she put it over her breastplate in reverence.

The man managed a weak smile and closed his eyes. For a moment she thought he had breathed his last but he was just barely there, having fainted from his wounds. The man was in bad shape and needed real medical attention, but considering they still had to take out the so called, bandit king someone was going to have to stay behind and provide treatment, or send him to a real doctor if he had any chance to survive. Even if they did either of those options there was still a good chance the man would die anyway, still she could not in good conscious leave the man to die but neither could she just leave the Iron Rose Knights during a crucial mission.

Thankfully she would not need to personally see to the man after the coast was clear since the Iron Roses had their own support personel to take care of things. She signaled for some of the more medically inclined staff to come over and take care of the man once she deemed the coast was clear. As the ambush had been effectively routed it was not long before she was able to hand over the dying man to the helpers.

"Take care of him to the best of your abilities while we go cleanup this mess. We have a bandit king to trounce." She gave one last look before joining the others on their crusade against the bandits.
Present, just thinking about how to go about this.
Julianna was always perceptive of the people around her and made it her duty to gain some knowledge of each potential asset and threat around her. Her senses when attuned toward her 'allies' usually took a more political stance. Her knowledge was of course mostly focused on those of position but even those who were not and were just part of the Iron Rose Knights, still had their spheres of influence, which is why Julianna just barely noticed Tarrya nod in her direction.

Julianna didn't know much about the older knight, although she knew the basics, such as she had been a mercenary and was quite experienced on the battlefield. She was also of low birth in comparison to many of the knights but even the lowest of knights was still a knight and deserved to be at least acknowledged. Also the more knights she could bring over to her family's way of thinking the better, so she smiled briefly in her direction in gratitude for the silent support and gave a quick nod of her head before returning her senses to the immediate area.

Julianna felt a wave of hostility in her direction from the 'immortal' knight. It would have been nearly impossible to tell due to Tyaethe being fully armored all the time, if she had not been trained from a young age to be able to gauge the feelings of those around her so she could use those feelings to her advantage. Now Julianna respected the powerful knight, truly; however, it was a fact that this 'immortal' was one of the greatest obstacles to her family's goals as she seemed completely aligned to the traditional ways, even if she was sometimes hard on the young and inexperienced Fanilly. The reason she was such a big obstacle was well, she was old and had been with previous generations of Iron Rose Knight captains so she was quite respected, and somewhat feared.

Her thoughts were interrupted when their good captain saw a man, horse and cart on the ground having been recently attacked. Julianna's first thoughts were actually quite aligned with Fanilly, to go and help the man but war tactics and experience quickly interjected telling her it was a trap. "Let's proceed caut-" She started to say but Fanilly had already dis mounted and bolted for the man to save him and Tyaethe quickly followed.

With a groan, Julianna quickly followed suit, dismounted, directed her horse to go away from the fighting and arrows, and raised her shield to press forward. Julianna was not about to let the young captain die because of her inexperience, she wanted to replace her, not kill her after all. Tyaethe managed to help her thankfully as she split a bandit in half that had tried to take her out. Julianna soon reached them as well, a few arrows bounced off her shield and one managed to hit her armor but harmlessly bounced off. The overall number of arrows coming at them was few so there could only be a few archers in the area.

"You're lucky these bandits underestimated us or you'd be a corpse right now." Julianna chided as she took a defensive stance to protect Fanilly and the old man. She sheathed her sword so she had one free arm to pull the old man as close to the cart as possible for cover and tried to figure out the directions the arrows had come from. "Since we're already here, why don't you apply first aid while I provide cover, that way we can at least have something good come out of this ambush."
While your characters can be all helpful and nice, time to put in a little nastiness Julianna style. When I made the character I actually didn't catch on until I made her just how easy it was to compare Fanilly and her to the dual goddesses, pretty funny and a nice coincidence when you think about it.
