She wasn't half afraid as she should've been. But she sure as hell didn't want to be there.

"We don't even know what they are" she said bluntly "... to think that we're being hunted is a bit of a stretch, don't you think? I agree we should walk briskly, but lets not jump to conclusions until we have any proof. We don't know a single thing about where we are or what we're doing here, and talking like that is just going to spread fear and anxiety. Whatever sucked down your tie, could've sucked you down as well, but it didn't. Just as Julius said, we can't take anything for what it seems. We need to keep a calm head about us if we're going to survive"

She looked down at her long baggy shirt, which has dried fully by now and sighed heavily. "And you were one of my favorite shirts" she said with a hint of regret as she tore enough cloth from it to make a bandanna of sorts. "Axl Rose was an asshole anyway" she muttered softly as she wrapped the cloth about her head, somehow completing her look. She glanced around at the creatures sticking out from the ground, but her gaze never fixed on one for too long. Something under her breath about New Yorkers and keeping their head down, no eye contact and you're in the clear! "The mountains don't look too far away, if we keep at a brisk pace, we should reach them by sundown. Just be sure not to pay them much attention, and hopefully we'll be fine. We should also keep an eye out for something to eat once we're in the clear. For I certainly am not going to survive if I can't get any dinner tonight." As the thought of food crept into her mind, her stomach grumbled softly.
@AiyvaGuardMy apologies, what I meant was that we already have an 'angel' on earth. I feel that since we have one already, that's good enough. No matter the difference. Someone else asked if they could make a character with wings and a tail. I told them no and I explained that I would no longer be accepting any 'prestige class' type of characters. So I'm going to have to say no to her. If you would still like to play a mage of some sort, a weak human with strong magical ability, I am fine with that, I really liked the idea of a druid amongst the cast, that would be cool too. But Viella as she is now, I will not accept. As I said, I like the concept, and I think she is a great character, just not one for this particular rp.
Hey, so sorry I haven't posted yet. I should be able to at some point today.
She couldn't peel her eyes from the boy. Something shook inside her, shook her down to her very core, forcing goose pimples to rise from her flesh. There was something about this kid. She had no idea what it was, but she could feel it. He was different somehow, and it wasn't his half-elf heritage or his seemingly inability to speak.

She didn't realize she was staring and even more that he was staring right back at her, it was as if she was lost in his gaze, contemplating what it was she was actually looking at.

It wasn't until they turned towards the docks that her gaze broke from his. Her face reddened and for that one brief moment, she felt afraid. She was her lands greatest assassin, killed countless during her employment in the Guild. She was skilled at being cold and calculating, despite the passion burning inside her. And yet, here she was, only a shell of that woman, as fear crept into her veins. Not of the boy persay, but of the unknown, of what she felt from him.

Was it her destiny to follow? She didn't usually care much for that word. She believed in making her own destiny. But she couldn't help the feeling, the one that had been gnawing at her since she first saw the trio. And so, without any care of being discovered, she followed them.

@Strafe @Ryciera @Plecy
@AiyvaGuard I do like the concept. However, we already have a fallen angel in the story. I don't want this to to seem or turn into a battle between the heavens and hell. Granted I am a big fan of diablo, and I've played all the games, that isn't what I had in mind for this rp. Also, is this to replace your first character or to be considered your second?
Ok, so to keep a list of things right now we have

Active Players
@Elitestpotato
@Inertia
@notdeadyet
@The Fated Fallen
@Strafe
@Ryciera
@Plecy
and myself

@WanderingRebel has a character and will post soon

@AiyvaGuard has a character and noted that she will not be joining the story just yet.

@Crazedm has a character and has not joined the story

There are a couple of others who voiced their interest in the rp, as well as @nald. If any others who have done so still wish to participate, pm me. Thanks! :)
I did, lol don't worry. All our communication was through pm. Also so sorry everyone, hopefully I'll post by tonight, if not, I'll be around tomorrow :)
@Stranger R hi there, at the moment, we are not as we're pretty full. But check back often!
@Inertia hehe, let potato lead everyone to the medics, we'll take it from there if you're going to the bar or not :)
"What? Is there an epidemic of limb injuries in this place? Is it infectious? Should I be worried?"

ROFLMAO
@The Fated Fallen I suppose it is. I am also 'old' so it may be something more of my time. But if you look up the movie 'Clueless' that would tell you more or less what a Valley Girl is like.
