You know, Rika's love interest doesn't HAVE to be her Receiver, right? Even if its the main focus of the RP, its not like we can't form relationships with people besides our partners. Keeping that option open is a large part of why I decided to make Kagura's mother's Receiver her uncle instead of her father.

Much like in Pathfinder, my characters tend to be bisexual until proven otherwise, if it turns out to be relevant to anyone else.

With Rika I want someone who's going to be exasperated by how stubborn she is. And how she tends to whack people who anger her.

Chie... can be anyone, though preferably someone not as laid back as her.

Rika is my first pick for Sean, both because she has a defined goal and because she wants a Reciever who will devote themselves entirely to her, which Sean is quite ready to do. Also, the idea of Sean getting dragged around by Rika and calling her a midget when she starts whacking him amuses me.

Ah... Hrm. To be fair, pairing's going to be a complicated mess by the end of it all, and I'd probably like to see the entire puzzle before I start moving my pieces. So while I do thank you for the offer, I think I wanna wait for the moment to see how everything pans out.

But yeah, I think everyone should pair up with other people because DIVERSITY as well.

I think I'd be fine with Mari and James being with most anyone, really. Nobody that's really waving their hands and yelling "HEY, PICK ME!" to me.

But seriously, would you like to pair up? I see Kagura and Mari getting along because I got the vibe that Mari would be willing to make the partnership more of a friendship once she is assured that her partner doesn't see her a living battery, which definitely isn't Kagura's view on the partnership.
James, while lacking a defined goal, is definitely driven, and is therefore someone Sean could throw his support behind wothout worry. Though, to be honest, I'd rather Sean go with a different Tuner if you agree to the Kagura and Mari partnership, if only so that BOTH of our characters don't end up stuck in a rut if one of us is busy one day, which I have seen and experienced all too many times in Fate RPs.

Hmm, if Kazuko get accepted, she'd probably go straight to first or second among my top five for Sean, as the only other character with "motivated personality" AND "defined goal" besides Rika.

I'm not for RNG, but if most people want it (which it doesn't seem like) then I wouldn't be against it. The main points I'd be looking for in the case of my characters is a partner with a clear goal to aim towards for Sean and a partner willing to be proactive about strengthening their relationship for Kagura.

Edit: Or to be meta, Sean would ideally be paired up with someone who wants to take the lead, while Kagura would be ideally paired up with someone who wants to do more RPing and character development.
