Hmm. Do a rollcall, consolidate pairings with the remainders? Anyone still around is unlikely to drop out. And we can probably get a few good reasons for cross-year pairings if we have to.

The corners of KAgura's mouth dipped into a frown briefly at Tatebayashi-san's still monosyllabic response. She quickly smothered it. It was probably just the way she was; Kagura doubted that her partner's stiffness stemmed from malice. No need to get irritated.
"Any particular preference?" Kagura probed, pulling out an assortment of teas. It was a small thing, but it was a step towards coaxing Tatebayashi-san to be more open with her.

@Urbanliner Hey, have the twins met again before now, or is this the first time they'll have come into contact since the divorce? If the latter, I wanna know how you feel about an arc where Kagura tries to help mend the gap time has made in their relationship. Building relationships is the reason Kagura is here, and she would definitely want her partner to have a bond with her twin that will last a lifetime.
Also, since Kagura is still on "Tatebayashi-san" terms with Eri for now, I really, really want a scene where Kagura mistakes Keiko for Eri, Keiko doesn't realize Kagura means Eri since she's using her surname, and they have a conversation where Kagura is just staring at Keiko and who this alien imposter is and what it has done with her partner.
