Yea, I want to know what happened too! Do I still get to see gundriver's character in action? I kind of like him from his character sheet.

Also, there is only one way to settle our differences around here. Pelear a muerte!
Sorry about the wait. Sorry if there is any spelling or grammatical issues. I just got off work and wrote that. I proofread it and had all sorts of terrible errors, but hopefully those are all gone now.
There was nothing he could do for the man now. He stared for a moment as the creature ducked lower into the tower. As much as he wanted to end it's wretched life, he didn't belong here. The people of this dimension could deal with that thing. Mason turned toward the portal once again, opening up his Hunter's Codex. "Leeann? Leeann, you there?" For moments, there was only static on the other end.

Finally, "Mas-on." he heard her voice amongst the static. Was the communication line not strong enough? She had said they were making great strides in inter-dimensional communication. Why was it acting up now? "Th- ro- k- he- he- t- er- th- it's-" Again, the static. Mason stared into the portal, trying to make out what was going on on the other side. He could see lots of dust, which wasn't abnormal for the Dark Sector.

"Leeann! What's going on." He was growing worried. "Qué chingados!?!?!" [What the fuck], he felt almost embarrassed as it slipped. Then he noticed it, a large building collapsing almost instantly, followed by the sounds of a chopper. The plane he had rode in on, was now crashing through the portal, nearly split in half, landing just outside of the castle's wall. He looked up briefly to catch a shimmering array of colors flash before the portal and then it faded, as well as the portal. He tapped his Codex, releasing it from his ear, and pocketing it. There was nothing he could do now.

There wasn't a chance in hell, the pilots survived the ship, and he knew the only way he was gonna make it out of this place alive, was to kill the creature residing here. He grit his teeth in frustration. Whatever had happened, he couldn't let it distract him. Instead he let his Hunting instincts kick in.

He noticed, instantly, the vibrate lights in the night sky that shimmered above, and the walls that although, dark were heavily reflective like a mirror. It was a strange glass he'd never seen before, but it didn't matter, as he could use it to his advantage. The reflective surface in conjunction with his eyes let him stare throughout the castle. He could see around various corners and corridors for at least 100 feet. Among the things he saw, were waves of a bright amber color pulsing from something deep in the castle. He had to admit, he was slightly curious what could emit that kind of energy, but he wouldn't worry about that now.

Mason ducked down the stairs from the tower, drafting flow after flow of Ultra Violet Prism. It would serve two purposes. The first would effect his emotions allowing him to concentrate on the battle, and the second, it would help serve as a trap for the creature. First thing was first though. He needed to get into open space. The small corridors of the castle would not prove beneficial to him. The Courtyard or the throne room would probably be the two biggest areas, he thought.

There was something else though. He felt the distinct impression that he was being watched.
I wish I had the time to prance around the locker room, challenging everyone. Not even for the points (those are just a plus), but just because it would be insanely fun. Win or lose, I imagine I could learn a lot from it. That alone is exciting.
@Rilla @Impaqt Has this fight died?

No. We've already discussed it. I've been busy with work and such. I'm gonna try and crack down on an RP post I need to do tonight, then get with this tomorrow evening. It was in the Chat thread or something where we mentioned it. Guess we should have told you from the get-go, this was probably gonna be kind of slow. Sorry Judge-man!
"dimensional borders like some kind of super mexican on steroids"

I take offense to that! You see this crap, @Rilla? I read it and first thing I thought of was Mason. Haha! Basically described exactly what happened to Mason in our fight.

Gots a prob esse'?
@Crazy Scion you could have it as 'Dennis - King of the Arena', or in case you wanted it to be you, 'Crazy Scion - King of the Arena'

Or just both?
Also, @Rilla. I have to post for my RP tonight after work. I'll try to get a post in tomorrow. Can't make any promises, but that's my goal. I've had a super busy week. I'm writing this now between a meeting and getting ready to head to work, so as you can see, I'm managing to get in post where I can.
I disagree that that the title should go to the character.

- The Character, although participating in that ONE tournament, will not necessarily even be the cause of that person's participation in the tournament.
- It closes up possible storylines that these tournaments could have, just saying "It's a tournament for so and so title" year after year could get, well... boring. It'd be much better if perhaps sometimes these tournaments were disguised as something other than a tournament. Some elaborate storyline with some 'asshole' in the background pulling strings. (No Offense, Rilla. I think most of your characters seem like assholes.) It'll be more fun and more versatile that way. Tournament settings could be fun, but so would other things. I'm reminded of this Comic I read one time, where people were put up against one another without their knowledge and basically for one reason or another they were forced without knowing it, to fight and make it through the brackets with some evil guy lurking in the background. I don't even remember the name of it, but my point is made.
- ????
- Profit. I don't know, just doesn't sit well with me, plus ego and all that.
<Snipped quote by Impaqt>

That would be funny for a scene of three canon fodder soldiers discussing why one of them wasn't wearing standard issue armor, being white and gold while they were supposed to be blue and black, and they don't believe him.

Oddly enough, this just gave me a bloody brilliant idea. I'm not even sure how it came from that, but this still managed to inspire it in my weird brain, somehow. Not to mention, it would go perfectly with a character I've been working on. I'm gonna have all sorts of fun with him.
