Guess that means our boxing match is done for. She's free to fight someone. Looks like Red's opponent isn't going on any time soon either.
As the mech's hand was moving in to grasp at his left arm, Saanga decided to let him have it. Unfortunately for his opponent, however, his version of letting him have it was to lash out with his dagger in a right to left slash towards the robotic trigger finger with all of the might that he could muster from his current position. He wasn't going to let go of his hold on the leg just yet, as it seemed to be working out for him so far. He wanted to do as much damage as he could to the various body parts from here or else he'd stand virtually no chance later on.

Disabling the hand would be the top attack priority while it was attempting to grab him, so as long as it continued to do so he'd "stand" his ground and keep hacking away at the trigger finger, chipping it's defenses down to the wires and then cutting them to ribbons before moving on to the thumb, should he get that far. Those would be the two fingers he'd hate to lose the most, that was for certain.

Wow. Looking back on her character sheet she originally used solid air as a defensive barrier, not her energy itself.
Doesn't need no dead Mary Sue.

So...is it common enough to use dead Mary Sues as an energy source that you had to specify that it doesn't?

Ever heard of the Iron kingdom?

Anyway, I'd be interested in a steam/coal-powered Victorian style big robot battle.

How about magically powered mechs?
5 points for the story.

Epic novel of our day.

Hopefully our battle can be as epic.

He wouldn't be able to move his body, but I guess so.

If he couldn't move his palms then he'd indeed be at the mercy of where they were facing, but I'd think he'd at least be able to rotate them to face the mech unless he got really unlucky where he was pinned down.
Yeah, your character needs superhuman strength, if Higan was that sort of person he could defeat your character right now by just letting his Mech fall on him, squashing him underneath its weight. Your character would probably survive due to his armour, but he'd be stuck with no way of lifting the mech off him.

He could charge up his last resort attack to destroy the mech.
Luckily his armor was still intact along his face and some of the torso, and because the attack covered such a wide area it wasn't able to penetrate into the hole in the torso. This left him rattled but not killed as what would happen to an unarmored person struck by a mech, giving the added benefit of cushioning some of the force like had happened when he fell from great heights. As he was shoved backwards against the leg he quickly gathered his wits about him enough to grasp onto it for dear life like his original plan was.

He angled the lava flowing out of his left palm inward towards the knee that was right next to his face, hoping to damage the parts while also solidifying it to increase it's cutting power and durability. Not that he had a choice to leave it liquid or not, given his lack of control over this ability, but either way he assumed would be able to do the damage he was looking for.
If he had the traditional lava attacks that could fit in with your suggestion of the ones that retain heat by having it left somewhere in the middle of his solidifying cool for awesome durability to staying liquid hot. The still hot version yet in solid form would have great durability despite loosing some durability.

Of course I'll have to also mention his superhuman physical enhancements. Given the true form he'll end up becoming he'd be able to demolish that little mech of yours in an instant. Mwahahahaha!
Would anyone think a comicbook-like battle would be fun to do? It would also be good practice for different poses and drawing the same character repeatedly to get better at drawing them. A written portion would still be done with the comic panel attached to each post to help illustrate was is going on even further. If the best you can do is stick figures then you won't be kicked out as long as you try. The battle would be a team based one, perhaps against a boss.

Maybe the drawings being so bad they are good could add to the charm...unless they end up so bad that they confuse us rather than help us.
