I'll just say the characters I've used recently. I'll work on getting a major group of 20 or so later on that I'll develop a lot so will know what they all would do if not combat related.

Evvie: Go around doing odd jobs for people as a part time worker
Raln: Street Performer
Allisan: (tough one, given how she's raised from a child to be an assassin)...stunt double/actress
Saanga: Works at a fruit stand on the beach
Rez: Construction worker
Lisita: Executioner. If that's not normal enough, prosecutor or judge.
Uh whose turn is it?

Indeed, being on the top floor or not could reasonably be assumed either way. The two different staircases is basically the only option due to the circumstances.

As for no intention fighting on the stairs, that part would depend on if the enemy charged at us while we were still on them. My character, being nimble, wouldn't personally care either way. If she knew they'd be placed in such a circumstance she could rush ahead and block them long enough for Judgment to reach the top.

Which should illustrate just how hard he is to explain. XD

I imagine all it's matter is sentient rather than creating neurons. Although you could just say all of it's matter is comprised of a nervous system depending on your outlook.
Here's my battle thread in case people are wondering. roleplayerguild.com/topics/83923-impor..
Raln stood next to the left tree at the top of the stairway connecting the bottom ring and the one above it, using it as potential cover because the trees were one of the only things here that could provide such a luxury in this strange battlefield. The only other option he could see would be to lean against the walls to vanish from view if the opponent was on the same side of these rings.

His first order of business was to seek out his opponent. If he couldn't find him then he was indeed either doing that tactic or cowering behind a tree of his own. He equipped one of his daggers into his right hand as he searched, just in case his opponent tried to get the jump on him at close range right off the bat.
Here it is, @SgtEasy, our tournament battle!
For some reason a scene poped into my head of a drunken female pirate captain chasing the mouse around her cabin and Home Alone traps going off against her.

Oh yes, and I finally thought up enough male characters to finish my male character-a-day week (so what if it takes a month? ). I'll be posting them on the weekend.
Rilla, weren't you the one with the mouse charayer you said wouldn't be able to find a fight? Well, I was thinking that it could be fun to do a battle where your mouse is able to vanquish a human in a super rare achievement. It would be interesting to see how to realistically fight and allow the mouse to win, even if it needs some luck.
I would think the time limit would be in effect once the battle has started, but if not then everybody would be disqualified because nobody has started the battle. If people still hve questions, though, I'm not sure how fair that would be.
