I'll just sum it up by saying SSJ3 Goku couldn't beat Buu, but Vegeto (Close enough to Gogeta. Give me a break) could. Everything I've read says Broly is canon, and I can talk about movies because they're canon. What you've watched doesn't change the fact.

Goku said he was only toying with Buu because he wanted (Can't remember if it was Gotenks or Gohan at the time) to be the hero. The second time he said it, he said that he was simply too exhausted. Had he been at full strength, he could have won. Meh about Broly. And I never meant that you can't talk about the movies, I just mean I can't really discuss them in any form myself since I haven't seen them.

Gogeta never happened against Buu. Vegito did. I'm not sure if Gogeta is even a thing that happened in DBZ, unless it was a movie as well. And Goku said he could have beaten even Super Buu in SSJ3, but didn't. And Vegito didn't even kill Buu, it was Goku, using a Spirit Bomb while SSJ.

Can't talk about that then.

I can see how such a power would be useful, then. You should find a long-lost sister who just happens to be a spirit of some power that's opposite your power that you haven't discovered yet, so you can harmonise. Much easier than washing clothes.
