History

BiographyEzekiel was born to Eliza Amalfi in a hospital following a incident with the king of the gods in an alley where she was....well, I bet you can guess. Anyway, having enough sense to fear the gods, she forced herself to have his child, and fearing retribution from Hera, left him in a box alone on the street, hoping he would die of a cold. Luckily, before that could happen and the Fates snipped his string, a horse that seemed to be made of wind grabbed him and brought him to rural Chicago, where he grew up raised by a family who had grown old and was thinking of adopting a child. He grew up on a farm, helping to tend to a small patch of crops and his own garden as well as dealing with school and other extra-curriculars. One day, he got home and could hear noises from inside the house and a terrible smell out back. When he went there, what he saw almost stopped his heart. His Stepmother was down in a ditch, and blood was streaming from her throat. Drip.....drop. His stepfather had received a similar treatment. He fell to his knees and rage clouded his vision. He kicked down the door and found a man rummaging through everything. "Zeus...Son of Zeus." the man said, watching him the way a lion might watch a gazelle. Ezekiel's screams of rage at that moment almost seemed to split the sky, at least to him, as there was a bright flash and a resounding, deafening boom. Unbeknownst to him, a lightning bolt fell from the heavens and charbroiled the assassin. The next moment, he saw the blackened ashes of his would be attacker and broke down crying. Through the haze of his own anger and sadness, he saw a strange symbol had appeared, seared a bright orange into the body.

How Long Have They Been At Camp Half-Blood: Later that week, after he stopped having continual nightmares about it, he researched the symbol. It was for Camp-Halfblood, whatever that was. It must have meant something If it was conveniently seared there. He earned enough money, hitchhiked his way to New York while avoiding monsters, and followed the instructions on his phone until he came to a cliff. Reaching the top, he looked over and found what looked to be an average summer camp, kids running around in random direction. Suddenly, a piercing roar reached his ears and rattled him enough that he jumped, landing on a rock and tripping, accidentally falling off the cliff. Long story short, he learned that he could momentarily fly when he stopped his fall moments before he crashed into the ground. Running toward the sounds of screaming, he found a band of bird-bodied women attacking the camp and getting shot with arrows. While they were all distracted he ran towards the children with his hands up, hoping they would protect him from whatever the hell those things were. He was welcomed in, at least after he retold the tale of his cliff survival. He's been there for two years since.
