@AdobeFlash Now you see why Arcane Justice is best toy, yes? *inserts cartridge of miasma two barrels. Other two barrels are loaded with flares* First you are blinded by the flares followed by mind altering gas that makes you hallucinate.

Yeah I suppose something made by maria would be fine. Maybe knives that steal blood so he has an emergency supply. Doesn't even have to kill then and it can't infect a person, so just a random thought.

Also you've reminded me I really need to list Jaklo's ammo types because I don't want this seeming like Deus Ex Machina stuff.

@Polyphemus@Austronaut To be fair Jaklo and Coal are both actually that age. Coal had slightly more social experience than Jaklo. Ya gotta remember the kid grew up with a crazy old man teaching him how to cook kelpie stir fry.

Then again in the end Jaklo just doesn't want to end up carrying back a body more than anything. Coal appears terribly unprepared and if nothing else he pities the kid. He pities the fact that something has driven him at 17 to run off and try to join W&R. At the same time he is entirely ready to hold Coal accountable if someone else got hurt.

And to be honest with my slight more control over Markiel and Seph I feel like Coal was allowed in because they saw how desperate he was as well as his potential. There were a hundred ways the kid could go including not making it and going rogue. Seph had hunted down his fair share of mages who used their talents for wrongdoing, but even he's not sure if he could kill a kid.

@R31GN We'll make sure you get anything important that comes out of this. So far the only important thing really covered was vampire mechanics which you don't need to worry about.

@Wraithblade6 It's not page it's just post 27. Basically all that has happened is all the people have shown up to work and are reacting accordingly to the new arrival of Coal, the witch who looks like he'd fall over in a weak breeze. This was followed by everyone being told to report to Seph's office which will be covered in my next post which will be a lot of exposition for the upcoming events.
