@rush99999 there are going to be based out of the Slate , but there are a bunch of pubs in the Slate and I like that idea of them being under a pub so yeah why not it will be a good hideout

Waylan

Personality: Waylan is actually quite calm despite his certain...skill set. Though he does get a bit too exited when around explosives and fire Waylan won't let that affect how he works. In terms of friends Waylan isn't very trusting of anyone having migrated from Zemeni and lived a life of poverty in the slate. He is usually very easy going until he runs out of the drug known as Parem which he can usually be seen smoking.

Bio: Born in Zemeni Waylan never knew his parents having been put in a orphanage. That never let him get down though as he would wait patiently to be adopted his spirit getting crushed each year that went by. Having had enough of it by the time he turned 10 Waylan "accidentally " dropped a candle on the many rugs of the orphanage. Getting his first charge of Arson , which he got many more of in his teenage years .

Waylan arrived in Dyomi in about his fifteenth year. Catching a ship leaving Zemeni's port he was a stow away till he had a bad run in with some RazorGulls who wanted to take a "cut" of the captain's shipment. This was his first lesson of the Slate " don't be a hero" he ended up getting beaten black and blue by the RazorGulls when he tried helping out the captain who not to mention them beat him for being a stow away. So like any sane person he got revenge by blowing up a RazorGull ship, even though he had to hideout for about a week it was worth it in his opinion though. His life really went to shit around his seventeenth year through , one day while walking through the eastern side of the city Waylan got persuaded to try some parem, a drug that gives you a high euphoric feeling and calms your nerves. Usually Parem is injected or smoked , having a fear of needles Waylan took the latter option and after a few huffs and maybe some more times smoking it he quickly got addicted.

Now Wylan is nineteen and Lives in the Slate doing his best to avoid the local gangs and get money to smoke more parem. Usually be works as a Demolitions expert that will blow or burn whatever you need for the right amount of coin. Though due to his lifestyle and the constant gang wars he is beginning to get frustrated at the local gangs and merchants for hoarding money.

Equipment: Waylan usually carries a bag full of components to make a various array of explosives and other things that use volatile components . He also carries around a handy dandy stash of parem bushels(their versions of blunts/cigarettes) to feed his addiction . Waylan also always wears fingerless gloves and if you look closely his pointer finger on his right hand is a prosthetic that has a built in lighter.

Quinn was walking around the newly made"forest" looking for his opponent. His hands nervously tapped on his revolvers as he heard twigs snapping and birds rustlng. Suddenly he heard a thump where he had been previously standing , a man covered in tattoos and scars with what looked like claws? Was on the ground. Letting out a loud exclamation of alarm Quinn lept into a roll as he drew his revolvers and began to sight in.

'Success!' Quinn thought we be rolled into a open patch unrestricted by trees or bushes. Hearing the familiar and comforting click of his guns hammer being cocked back Quinn took aim at the man. Breathing in and out Quinns finger rested on the trigger as he sighted in clearing his mind of everything but his guns and the target at hand.

Welcome To Dyomi

Welcome to the city of Dyomi! A city that greatly resembles 1840's Victorian era London. The city after realizing the use of steampower had a great industrial revolution and is now it's world's leading industrial superpower. With this great wealth comes corruption though, gangs and a drug named Parem dominate the streets of Dyomi and politicians aren't much help as the gangs have most of them tucked in their pocket. Poverty and addiction is high as merchants hoard all the money they make poverty ,addiction and crime is especially high in a area of the city named "The Slate" which is in fact where most of the gangs work out of. To combat the rising crime rates the King and the merchant council has issued a policy stating that weapons cannot be on one's person or out in the open. The gangs have found a way to combat this though through the use of cane swords, brass knuckles , chains, illegal prosthetic modifications etc, just the place for a young and upstart little bugger like you ehh?

But let's talk more about the city shall we? The city of Dyomi is the largest city of the country known as Dyaomesh a medium sized island in the eastern part of the Torenson sea. It's largest trade partners are counties named Zemeni(this world's version of america) , Zhu Han(essentially china) , and Mavika(essentially Russia ). The docks are on the west side of the city and the Dens of various thing on the east, with the Slate being the Southside of the city and the merchants houses and government buildings being on the north side. A river runs through the middle of the city and the most popular way to get around is by foot though the richer merchants and leaders of the gangs will take carriages.

The DimeLions

The DimeLions are Dyomi's most prevalent and powerful gang. They have their "claws" in everything be it Gambling dens, brothels ,underground fightclubs and Parem dens to politics and shipments and they even have a few merchants in their pockets as well, their leader is named Jonathon Morris and is a cruel sadistic man who only accepts the "elite " of the street scum. Their symbol is a lion with a broken crown

The RazorGulls

The RazorGulls

The RazorGulls are the closet thing Dyomi has to pirates. They patrol the docks and harbors or Dyomi usually taking a "cut" of shipments from whoever is leaving or entering the harbor. They also harass dock workers to get a cut of their weekly salary. The RazorGulls are the gang with the most merchants in their pockets giving them an edge on knowing when shipments come out and come in. Their leader is Faris O'Donald and he is a slightly lazy man who has been known to make his lackies meet in his place. The RazorGulls symbol is a black Gull with white tipped wings.

The PitVipers

The PitVipers

The PitVipers are Dyomi's kings when it comes to addiction no matter the type. They own the most gambling dens ,brothels ,Parem dens , and underground fightclubs. They also have the most swindlers in the city usually taking advantage of the naive tourists and pick their pockets. Their leader is named Sebastion Rosalie, their symbol is a rattlesnake ready to strike.
