Bio

Greetings,

I am Jb; Briton by birth, roleplayer by my own hand, and lover of literature. I am also an amateur historian, a receiver of a Bachelors degree in Ancient and Medieval History - quite a useless degree, actually - and would like to think that I'm a fair, honest and open guy.

As far as RP'ing goes, I'm pretty open to most things really, all you need to do is ask! :)

So, if you've ever any questions for me, wish to speak about RP's involving myself or run by myself, or simply feel like a chat, don't be afraid to get in touch.

Spread the word then, I suppose, 1868 it shall be! Someone tell Mono that their favourite gun hasn't been invented yet. :(

You a Texan as well, idlehands, or just knowledgable in such things? Interested in history, perhaps?
You know, I was thinking about that... I can already hear the groans from other people!

In all seriousness, I am looking for a year that you could call the 'golden age' of the Old West and, since I do not believe there really is one, am more drawn toward pre/during the Civil War or the earlier years - Oregon trail, beginnings of the railroads, more intense frontier life and that sort of thing.

Thoughts?

P.S.

Glad to know you're interested! @idlehands
@PhoenixWhite I've got mah eye on yoooou...
The extra time after 1865 is actually extraordinarily beneficial character-wise xD

Not sure I like the sound of this!
As you will, folks! I'm just enjoying being able to sit back for a bit, but I will respond to Apollo soon, and then we'll see what we shall see. :)
@Monochromatic Rainbow I did this for you, Mono, so shaddapa your face!

Next time I'll stick with my initial decision, ungrateful wretches...

Anywho, apart from being the advent of some pretty kick-ass weapons, '73 was also a good year for Indian Wars and general outlawery on the frontier. Of course, the frontier and thus the settlers had made good headway into the West by this date, but shizzle was still going down.
@PhoenixWhite No worries, I look forward to it.
Of course, you are most welcome.
@Rosalind@bluetommy2@Sterling@PhoenixWhite@Monochromatic Rainbow

Right, gonna move the date up to '73; Mono gets their Springfield, I get to scalp you all, and we all win really.

I'll edit the OP later.
Jaysus, people!

If I'd know there'd be so much debating about firearms - of all things! - then I'd have put it to a vote; that being said, if you'd like a later date then that's fine...Laredo, from what I know, didn't change all that much between the 18-1900's.

So, send your votes in a stamped envelope to 25 RPG Street, New Oosted Lane, Kentexas, United Kingdom of Amerinorway.

...or just post them here.
