“Let us hope that they are few then, or that it will at least be enough to stall them if it will not satiate their appetite,” Radley said, as one rabbit would not go far between a pack of wolves, though he smiled to himself and nodded in approval of the idea. Any time they could buy themselves would be vital, and perhaps an easy meal, regardless of size, would dissuade them from pursuing the much more deadly prey of Marcus and Radley, prey who could fight back with greater lethality. Placing the pelts carefully in his pack, Radley swung it onto his back, leaning against his staff idly as Marcus kicked out the fire. This stranger’s acts of kindness would not go unrewarded; Radley would make sure of it, and he had a debt to Marcus now, not matter how small, and Radley would repay him when he saw the opportunity, in accordance to the tacit code of those who wander the road. Hospitality was as valuable as gold on the road, as both made journeys easier by tenfold. “To the joy of festivities then,” Radley toasted; he too hoped to see what the festival held. He had overheard the conversations of merchants and anglers in Bjorfrost of what he might expect: culinary delights, performers that could swallow fire and swords, exhibition duelling from the finest swordsmen in the South and beyond, and even an open tournament in which all could partake. “We should try and reach the main road before dark,” Radley stated, “The light of the lanterns will shield us from much of the night’s hardships, and other travellers may be arriving late also. It will be the safest place.” He began walking through the tree-line, leaving the clearing behind, lifting his staff every second step to match his pace. “Tell me Marcus, from where have you come?”
Yes, just follow these rules in your post:
1. Please be respectful to everyone in OOC 2. Do not be Overpowered, unfair or invincible with your character. 3. Everyone is able to create characters, NPC's and locations in the story. Whoever creates a character (or location) is the person that decides that character's actions, dialogue, history, etc. (For example, if we are in a field and you create a monster for us to battle, whoever comes up with the idea for that monster will control its actions.) 4. Do not control other people's characters. Do not auto-hit 5. Everyone can post up to three times in a row in the RP. After that, everyone else will be given a chance to reply, before a person posts again.
The sight of the man drifting to the ground was befuddling, until he landed and held up his right hand, at which point Radley could spot an extraordinarily thin wire for the strength it seemed to hold: enough to support a man. It glinted in the low light, and the whir of the spooling was audible above the crackle on fire. An impressive trick nonetheless, and the concealment of the apparatus used was equally so; it must have been the last in a long heritage of designs, compacting and improving each generation, because Radley could not see it. Radley listened, attentive to each word, how the syllables fell tremulous compared to the raging winds of nature’s overture, even with the bass of a male voice. Marcus Frost, a traveller long on the road by the sounds of it, much like Radley, however Radley only wandered the road in introverted pilgrimage. A self-proclaimed adventurer; that might explain his curious garb, particularly the clawed gloves, and the wires. Radley’s heart had burnt for adventure, for fame, in his youth, but that had died and a new purpose arose, and still, Radley found himself envying Marcus, that all he sought was an adventure and a warm climate. Many times Radley had wished for a simpler life, one might assume life as a monk was a simple as it came, but the search for purpose and enlightenment created a turmoil and desperation that was at times the most unbearable burden in the world. “Well met, Marcus, I am Radley Oerheart, a travelling monk” he leaned his body forward in a half bow, not rising from his sitting position, “I am currently on my way to Starter Town, to see the festival so famed, and do trade with the merchants there.” At the howl, Marcus shifted his head, the way one would when they encountered something that seized their curiosity. Wolves were surprisingly cautious; Radley had seen many on the road, at the fleeting edges of his vision, but none had ever attacked him. There was another possibility: that in surprisingly cold Southern Winter seemed to be holding on too tightly as spring encroached, and perhaps a Dire Wolf had made its way into the forest. They favoured the Northern Territories, but it was not unknown for them to get lost and wander too far South. They were vile of beasts of half wolf and half, well, something else, a putrid evil that lingered and twisted their very being for the sole purpose of malicious acts of violence. They were also about twice the size of their uncorrupted cousins. “Perhaps you are right,” Radley admitted, a little sullen after having set up camp, and now he had to go about deconstructing it. He looked at the rabbit in the skillet. He wouldn’t have time to cure it now, and he wasn’t that hungry after finishing his. “Feel free to help yourself to more; it would only go to waste otherwise.” The fire had just about died out, so Radley began the job of packing up, untying the sheet stretched between the trees. Then would come fitting it into his sack. “It will soon be night, we have but a few minutes of dying light,” Radley observed, “It would be unwise for either of us to travel alone, so perhaps we could accompany each other to Starter Town?”
MonkeyBusiness: I shall not have my post up tonight, but tomorrow I will have it done. Sorry for the pause it will create.
Not a problem. Just a note, I won't have a lot of time this weekebd to post because I will be busy working at a theater festival for like 14 hour days.
This may actually help. I was writing as though it were dusk, whereas I think everyone else was, excluding yourself, was still in daytime. Since our posts will slow down, this will allow all the characters to synchronise. Akira, is this the case, or did you have plans?

Chinese is actually only the most spoken language by its number of speakers; China is a huge place and makes up the majority of its speakers. Mandarin is only an official language in China, Taiwan, and Singapore, however the in the latter two countries the local languages have influenced the spoken vernacular form of Mandarin, and I'm not even sure this is the primary language in those territories. However, English is the primary language in Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada, Cook Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, New Zealand, Nigeria, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, and is spoken as a secondary language in many more. Regardless, that was just me being pedantic and eristic. I understand what you are saying and I am sorry. It is good to see you are a reasonable and tolerant person.
Radley whirled about with terrifying speed, snatching up his staff from its resting place against a rock, and settling back into a defensive stance, staff poised, in a single fluid motion. There was a brief moment of confusion, before his brain caught up and worked out where the voice had come from. Up. The rabbits had been sizzling in their fats upon his iron skillet over the fire, and Radley was too travel-worn to have kept his guard up and consequently he was caught unawares. He gazed up at the branch of the tree, on which sat a slender man with hair the colour of slate. Radley shielded his eyes with one hand; he had taken off his hat and his raven-wing locks writhed in the slight breeze. The free hand lowered the tip of the staff to the ground as Radley had recovered from the initial shock, and saw that this man meant no harm, announcing his presence in the way he had. The man was likely just another fellow traveller, and hungry, judging from his offer to buy a rabbit. Still, it was rather odd that he perched himself on the branch of a tree, like some wood-elf or forest nymph from stories and song. Yet, even with his staff lowered, Radley still kept it in his hands; whilst he didn’t suspect anything of ill ilk from the man, he didn’t put it past a cunning thief. Starter Town was a good place, and a fine city, but there is as price to be paid for all good places, and a price all good places have to pay. No small amount of wealth flowed through the city, and that attracted covetous and greedy eyes, some with hearts black to match. “Spare your coin,” Radley began, the words coming painfully, and somewhat alien, from his chapped, unused lips. “I wish only for you to pay me in good company and conversation after a long and hard journey, that I might find some comfort on the road, and perhaps even a new friend.” He gestured with his head, pointing it towards the fire, before he returned to sit on his rock, shaking the skillet, to which the flowing juices hissed in response. It was a small price to pay for a creature comfort such as a guest; the meat was not that expensive, and he could buy plenty more from the city, both rations and good meals. The pelts on the other hand… the pristine white fur of his Mountain Rabbits, sometimes called Hill Hare by the Southerners, was highly sought after for gloves boots, and various other such fashion accessories, as the coat was thick and soft, and a white coat was rare among the species, and therefore valuable. Lifting the skillet away from the heat, Radley lifted a whole Rabbit with a gloved hand and offered it in the direction of the newcomer with an outstretched hand. It would no doubt be hot, but food was food, and it would cool down quickly enough. “Sorry, I don’t carry much in the way of plates,” Radley explained; he had never really needed them, as he always used the skillet and ate his food straight from it, “I hope that doesn’t stop you from giving me your name.”
I could swear I've played with Rin before, on the old guild, but I can't quite place what RP.
VitaVitaAR, I just read your post, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Initially I was sceptical from the CS, but you seem to have pulled it of, and your character is really rather endearing.
My character is 100 years old so age should not be a problem. and I was not really offended just mostly confused by the question since there are so many others you could ask the same said question
It's just I've role-played with lots of people who have English as a second or even third language, and they had writing styles similar to yours.
Hobbies: killing cattle , causing minor natural disasters and once in awhile killing someone for there soul.
I'm pretty sure this conflicts with the second rule: "Do not be Overpowered, unfair or invincible with your character."
Gift of the Demon- is a ability that probably every full blood basic demon has. The ability to fly, move at incredible speeds, lift beyond the weight of an elephant and drain the life out mortal creatures.
As does this
The bad thing about this is that any item blessed by a priest or titled holy can easily make him powerless.
What? Does a blessed item only have to exist for him to be powerless? Does it have to touch him? Do the effects last as long as it is touching, or do they remain afterwards for a set time? Is it perhaps proportional to the power and/or the length of time said item was touching?
Biography: larz is probably on of the oldest living things to be recorded in history.
Second rule again.
He was titled as a myth since no one has actually lived long enough to give a full description of Larz. The Myth states that there were once kingdoms in hell and verious powerful rulers. Larz was one of them and ruled over the void a small dark dot that was basically corrupted and swallowed up by evil. Years later Lucifer defeats the kingdoms and rebuilds hell from the ground up. Lucky Larz build a barrier to separate hell and the void. The myth continues on by saying Larz finally lost all he had when Lucifer confronts him and rips the void to shreds. In his final moments he consumed the rest of the void and removed his body from the realm of hell. The Myth ends with Larz dying in the earthly realm while he actually went into hiding.
In fact, pretty much all of his bio seems in conflict with the second rule. Powerful demon ruler? It took the omnipotent embodiment of evil to defeat him? Consumption of the entire realm he ruled over? Definitely conflict here. Edit: On another note, I am currently working on a reply to your post MonkeyBusiness, sorry for the wait.
