Personality:
Jason was what his dad called a goofball. He liked to do joke around and have a good time. He liked to live life in the moment and enjoy himself whenever he could. However, this did not mean he couldn't be serious at times. Whenever put to a task, Jason dedicates himself almost entirely to that task. He would especially do so whenever he wrestled. When it came to helping people, Jason wouldn't go out of his way to help people, but would do so if someone asked or if he crossed paths with someone.
However, being separated from his girlfriend and assuming she was dead, Jason is a recluse in this world. He travels alone, and avoids most contact with others. He has no idea where his family is or where they went to, as he has already traveled to his old house decimated by the bombing. Trying to find purpose again, he wanders aimlessly, trying to find a place to settle down and survive.
Background Story: Jason was born into wrestling with his father being a wrestling coach. He started when he was five, and wrestled all the way to his high school senior year. He won the state title in his 182 weight class that year. He planned to attend to a college under a wrestling scholarship before everything went down.
Jason was with his girlfriend, planning to go hiking before the war started.
"You're taking a century and a half, Alex!" Jason moaned as he laid on her bed, backpack beside him. "You take forever to get ready. It's just hiking."
"Well if you didn't come half an hour earlier than you said you would, you wouldn't have to wait!" Alex said, half yelling at him. "This is your fault."
"I just wanted to see you earlier cause I lovvve you." Jason said, getting up from the bed and hugging her from behind her. "I couldn't wait another minute to see you."
"You're an asshole you know that, right?" Alex said, kissing him on the chin. "I'm almost done with my make up, just give me a few. Watch youtube or something."
"Nah." Jason looked around her room, and his eyes fell to her softball bat. "Hey, let's take this! In case we get robbed, I could give 'em a good swing." Jason swung the bat, hitting her bed.
"You're such a dork," Alex said, getting up and grabbing her backpack. "You got snacks, right?"
"Yup," Jason said, pulling some bars from his backpack. "I got bars for days."
"Why? In case we get lost in the mountains?"
"My direction skills are impeccable."
"Didn't we end up getting lost for an hour in the trails last time because of your 'skills'?"
"IMPECCABLE!"
Alex smiled and kissed Jason. "You're so cute, you know that?"
Jason kissed back. "Thanks."
Alex paused and coughed. "Excuse me?"
"You're cute too!" Jason said, picking her up and heading towards to door. "Let's get out of here."

"Just don't let go, I know there is a shelter somewhere nearby, ok?" Jason pushed and shoved people out of his way to try and reach the fallout shelter that was in the bank.
"Babe, I'm scared." Alex voice trembled. "Are you sure there is something over here?"
Jason kept shoving and pushing through the sea of people. "I'm sure of it. The bank had a fallout shelter emblem on it years ago, they just removed it. It was built during World War 2."
They had finally arrived at the corner where the building was, and surprisingly, no one was trying to get inside of it. He sighed with relief as he went to open the door. Unfortunately, it was locked.
"Babe..." Alex said, worry prevalent in her voice.
"It's going to be ok, I have a plan." Jason said, pulling out the baseball bat from his backpack. "Stand back, the shards might get ya."
Alex stepped back, towards the rushing crowd of people. Jason smashed through the glass of the bank, which sounds the alarm of the building.
"How was my form on that babe?" Jason said, smiling. He turned around, but Alex was no where to be found. He started to panic and looked for her face in the crowd. Nowhere. He screamed for her name, but there was no call back. He went to brave the crowd, but then he heard the whistling in the sky. He knew what that meant. But he needed Alex in this apocalypse. But he also needed to live. He paused for what felt like a century, contemplating what to do.
He went inside.
