Slyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, even if Vanessa is angry at Jason, would she come to protect if say the Darkness'sshock had a worse toll on him and had knocked him down and stunned him, so he for the half minute or so it would take to regain his senses, he was easy prey?

"Arya get bac- GET BACK NOW." Jason yells and gets up, backing up quickly, his eyes wide with fear as he watched the walls. "Those guys aren't even phased. I won't be able to do anything against them. The church is pressing its power in on me. Yet they are unfazed." Jason says and backs out of the church, his skin stopping with the smoke that it previously had, leaving behind small scars from the burning. He grabbed the nearest shar object and hurled it towards the Alter of church. Swearing many times in the ancient language at it. Cursing it for his pain, his failure to save Ansen, his failure to stop that cultist inside. He growled deeply at the church and turned away. "Arya get out of there if you intend to not get captured by the enemy." He orders before stalking to Vanessa. He glares at her, his anger very evident in his eyes as he looked at her. Although his anger was more at himself, as the boy blamed all failures, even those that couldn't have been stopped, on himself and took tht badly. She would know how brutally stubborn he was. "All innocent or good lives deserved to be saved. If I see loses as acceptable to achieve a goal then I will begin the slide to evil and be just like my father. Do NOT yell at me like that." He growls and moves off.

Sly, I really want to make Jason explode on Vanessa xD. Like get super pissed and let that inner monter inside that he fears so much out. (Not anything like the deathbat. I mean monster as in his more vile and violent side) xD.

Jason nodded at Vanessa and immediately began pulling Arya out of the building. Although he stopped at the doors and looked over his shoulder. These cultists had to be put down and their shield of darkness destroyed. Because for all the half-demon knew, Ansen was behind those very walls. He looked at Arya and Vanessa. "Go on. Get the others to safety. I'm not letting them take Ansen and I won't let them torture these poor innocents anymore. " He says and turns back towards the cultists. Vanessa would know that the boy was accepting his most likely imminent death, due to the fact he had a very strong urge to protect the innocent even if it meant giving his life. His skin began smoking more intensely and he fell to his knees, letting out a loud cry of pain as he built up power to destroy these cultists. With his face contorted from the intense pain that gripped him, he turned and yelled. "Get out of here! Vanessa, ensure their trap doesn't entrance the others and ensure they get away. That's an order!" Follwed quickly by another yell of pain. As the holy magic here focused on the demon tht was building up his power, the more power, the more the holy magic tried to kill him. Even as Jason prepared for death, he hoped he hadn't given Vanessa rhe one order she coudn't , or possibly woudn't, follow.

Just a cool looking strong sword, and because I saw somebody was using soul edge xD.

But yeah, its Just a strong sword that looks cool. No powers.

The dragon is there because my character is actually rather weak compared to a minotaur, yeah he has telekinsis but that only works on things he can see, its not an ultimate defense sort of thing, and the telekinesis has a range of only being able to affect things ten feet away from him, and at that range he is lucky if he's able to knock over a human. At the closest he might be able to throw the human a bit but that's it. He wears no armor. The dragon levels the playing field.

Plus if she dies, Gaara lives but its like he lost a huge chunk of himself and is weaker than before. If Gaara takes damage or dies, so does she. That's my reasoning.

As for what I was planning, just the shock and awe factor of 'Holy shit! He's got a Dragon!' And I just wanted to exlore thier bond while facing down threats. Including bigger and stronger dragons, and bigger and stronger demons. Wasn't planning to be OP.

I can ditch the dragon if you want, just have Gaara's telekinsis be much stronger, like throwing boulders (max being about the same weight as a small car.) And slamming enemies into trees strong.

Bio: Gaara was born to none other than the king of the demons himself, who was planning his take over of the world that they live in. But for the moment remained peaceful to appear like he wasn't evil. A prophecy came along when Gaara was only 4, stating that the boy was destined to kill his father and take over the demon empire, stopping the take over and returning the empire to peaceful entity it currently is. Upon hearing this the king set out to kill his son, but couldn't find him, as the boy's mother (an elf princess who had been kidnapped from her kingdom) has snuck the boy out of the castle when she heard this. She snuck him to the edge of the empire, and gave him the sword he uses now. In his rage, the demon king executed Gaara's mother and labeled Gaara the Heretic, the enemy of state. If he is found by any demons the boy was to be killed on sight. Not long after leaving his empire, the boy came across a dragon wandering the land. This dragon tried to attack Gaara, seeing him as easy prey. Though even at a young age the boy fought with enough strength to impress the dragon. But alas she got one good blow with her tail on the boy. Knocking him out cold. The dragon, whose name is Saphira, decided to take this strong boy in as one of her kin since all her other kin had been slayed by other dragons who believed they had too much morale. She had no love for other dragons. Over the years they grew closer to each other and each became stronger. They learned to communicate with each other and made a vow to help each other take their revenge on those who wronged them. Now, 13 years later they spot a light in the sky as they make their flight across the night sky. Time to see what this disturbance is about.

Other: One of the only beings to tame a dragon and become aware of their being sentient. He can communicate with his dragon, and they have a very strong bond. She sees him as one of her kin and is fiercely protective over the boy.

Jason watched the other guard coming his then turned his attention to the hodded man. "You really think I want you alive?" He asked with a short chuckle, the slammed his swird through the hooded man's neck before ripping it out the front, tearing open his throat and artery. His blood all dained down into lungs, drowning him. A perfect fail safe to ensure his imminent death. Jason walked towards the guard, then a massive wall of telekintic energy salmmed into the guard, with force equivalent to something like a house falling on you from around 200 feet in the air. Then the boy turned and ran inside after Arya. The moment he entered the church, his armor failed and his skin began to smoke as it burned. He was in obvious pain, the demon having been a creature who's weakness was cenerted in places like this. But he pushed on. Reaching out and grabbing Arya's wrist. "Its not safe here. If they have the power to wield darkness in a place like this, then they have more power than even I do. We need to leave before they kill us all. We're no help to Ansen if we're dead."
